samobaba4u:.The board secretary at NDA said that training resumes october,he said it at the parade ground while stressing age issue,he specifically said that we are not supposed to be more than 29 or less than 24 by then. They might change their mind if they deem so,if we start by october then the training might take more than 9 months but if we start by january it will just take 9 months as SSC 23 did in 2015. Any ways we are supposed to pass out with NDA RC 64 by next year 1 Like |

Hi friends, i am sorry for late updates,i was opportuned to stay at NDA old site till the selection board interview. My experiences are unforgeteable. Eveyday came with uncertainties especially if any result is to be announced.Right from the credentials screening,some states have lost almost half of them,the examination also led to the withdrawal of some candidates also but the highest exercise that affected many states was that of medicals......even after the medical review that took many days.......a good number of candidates were asked to go. I wasnt close enough to other candidates but some of the cases that led to withdrawal include: flat foot, high/low BMI, high or low blood pressure,tattoo,bad set of teeths,visual issues,any case of scar or operation,any trace of drug in your urine or blood,hepatitis,HIV AND Psychological cases.The experience is enjoyable and also painful, the pain of sitting on tarred parade ground from morning to night except when asked to go to the mess or during other exercises is so much especially on sunny days.Some states were just left with 3, some 4 and 5 candidates while some were left with 12.14 15 and candidates after the medicals. Nobody was evicted after the 3.2km race but those who couldnt make either the 1st,2nd or 3rd cage were told that they had zero in race and had the choice of either going or staying.All the cages had their marks.I left NDA very early in the morning having faced the selection board interview around 7pm the previous day.All we need here is your prayers,joining the armed forces is not a do-or-die affair,if i get it i will thank God,if i dont i will still thank God because he knows the best.Bye for now. 1 Like 1 Share |

Nigerdeltaboi:Yea,i agree with you, but remember the recruitment's of NN and NA in the year 2013,they almost stayed more than a year, i just pray ours dont last long like that,just as you said the military secretary knows best. Lets hope for the best. |

For some of us speculating when the list will come out or not, i suggest we take a look at the budget for the Nigeria Armed forces under defense ministry, in that budget you will see clearly that it is only the Nigerian Airforce that have Recruitment, Promotion and Appointment budgeted for. Am not saying that the list will not come out but as educated people we should understand that this things dont just happen, they are well organised and planned, so lets keep our arms crossed and wait on them. |

Da Emperor: If the constant diligence i presently undertake in checking the NN sites for the list was what i had back in school, i'd probably be on scholarship to MIT or Harvard sef. Haha! Wetin sef? If na so HIV test dey tey b4 he commot, u can imagine d no of consequent heart attacks.Hahhhaahahhahahahah,guy...haahahhahahaahhaah, no be say u talk am oooooo,one of my guy said dat anyday he doesnt check the list like 4 to 5 times it will seem to him as if dey hav released the list and d successful once gone for training. |

Osedidi: For those of us that made 2.2 dorry ohhhh, I just dey hear from my contact in ABJ dt no Second Class lower made the list all na 2.1 graduates..........na wa ohhhh except 1This one don carry ehn own enter.........Abeg even if na first class alone,make them release it.........dey stated clearly in d advert that it is for 2.1 graduates only but later shortlisted 2.2 candidates.......so they know what they want and why dey did it so. |
