Halil4all: Hi guys! I have a little problem and ur advice and clarification will serve as a piece of gold. My date of birth is 9th october 1985, but from my waec result its 11th october 1985 as a result of error made during my secondary sch days. Pls is dat a huge problem?
Guy from d little interview experience i have gathered, dey mainly look at d year and hav little time for dates and month, but u need to be prayerful so dat d person dat wil verify you will nt discover. But my advice to u is dat u insist on d one u declared at NA portal and u know is subject to no change.Had it been u said it earlier dia is an avidafit dat dey normally swear to cover all this things. But any way gudluck,I will be happy to see u commissioned next year. Finally,if it is ur destiny, guy,go an sleep, even d screening wll be a walk-over for you.

What about notification of result ( I mean for university)?
Is it statement or notitication?,one can use statement of result, because u know some schools hav nt done convocation and dia ar shorlisted candidates who just graduated within d last 2 or 3 years, though according to my enquiries one can work with statement of result for maximum of 10 years before it becomes mandatory for u to tender the original degree certificate, dey will verify all these things themselves, dey just want to look at them,I mean sight them, remember dat result has another copy with d registrar of d school u attended, with dat dey will ascertain wether u really went to d school and obtained d qualification claimed. So any one u go with, just make sure is genuine,I mean it was from d school claimed.

ananne: Many people still dont know there names are out. Some are finding it difficult to get a medical report due to the public holiday. So lets begin to discuss the various stages....those that have been there before should enlighten us. The first stage is the certificate screening and documentation. What would they check for? Many pple shortlisted were 29 years and some months old. What does the caveat "candidates should not be more than 29 years by september 2013" mean. Lets join hands and educate some of us who dont know about all this things.
Guy they dnt joke with certificates especially birth, just make sure ur ages tally very well with what is in ur certificates especially WAEC,dey hav a way of ascertaining ur true age from ur date of birth and d year on ur FSLC,make sure dey tally,if one is nt upto 10 years by d time he/she left primary school, then u might need to sharpen ur mouth for questioning, but if it is below 8-9 then dia is a problem.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nigerian Army DSSC And SCC 2013 Recruitment Is Out! by nnesochim: 11:49am On Oct 15, 2013
maximum5: The medical report is not necessary coz all they want is that ECG talkin from experience because any candidate can bribe a doctor to write that he's fit on d medical report, just to scale thrU. But I assure u dat d NA are not fools coz they will still conduct all necessary medical tests for them to be sure. May God guide us all coz it won't be easy at all and for the females that were shortlisted, just have it in mind that u girls will be shown in d final list, once ur medicals are ok and d 3.2km doesn't matter at all. But 4 men, we go hear am coz all is expected from us to pass all. Again I strongly advice everyone that were shortlisted to be praying hard and equally alert all ur godfathers for more assistance coz na dat selection board bi di KOKO. Good luck to those shortlisted in DSSC in Anambra state and hope to see u guys on 82 Div barracks. One luv
Please,i thought dey said is Kadunna,or did dey share it zonally?

ananne: Getiing the medical report and ECG wasnt easy. Infact some people will have to wait till thursday due to the holiday. The soldiers were nice. Most applied and were not shortlisted. It really takes the Grace of God to scale through. Many people were becoming faint hearted when they heared the many hurdles they have to cross......certificate screening, medicals and the 3.2km race. Those using affidavits should be careful. Some might not notice dat due to the affidavit they swore to, the age they left primary skool was reduced to like 7-8 years. Dats automatic disqualification. Meehn....lotta pple really wanna wera that uniform. An officer told us that its God dat can make one scale through. Met someone who has faced the selection board four times and yet wasnt chosen. Ma pple, its not easy oooo.
Please what ar d essential tests dat must be included in d medical report apart from ECG?

Dnt judge me just an observation

Even education officers can be detailed to lead a platoon on stuff like IS(internal security) ops. As long as u don wear that uniform forget it; u go buy any job wey oga say make u buy.
Very correct, infact dat corps or department u see is just for grouping, except for some professions but once u ar on military uniform u can be deployed anywhere within d service.

Guy dat position is meant for people dat read medical records or Biostatistics,Is nt even related to his course,d guy is better needed in d airforce since dey advertised for health educationist, had it been he read something like Biochemistry and applied under chemistry or Microbiology and applied under Biology in d education dept.it could hav been better. But one thing is most important,If he is destined to be in the Navy,he is already there, dia is nothing any man can do about it and dia is nothing God cannot do.Look at what hapend during d test, one of my friends was busy reading to defend his certs. and why he applied for his chosen dept.and on reaching d exam.dey just asked us to fill all certficates claimed and submit,U dnt know what d screening wil look like,Guy protocols can change because of one person,is tru dat this is ,military but God is d almighty Admiral of the Fleet,Is just God dat can help him.

1.Let him make sure he gets d node of his commanding officer.2.Do proper inteligence gathering/analysis of those boys ie.learn dia backround very well, infact if possible get his commanding officer to issue d arrest order and make him d officer present his evidence against them.3.If he fails to carefully do this,he might be d victim because remember he was commissioned on probation,it is after 3 yrs dat it lapses and he can then convert to a regular officer.Probation requires high level of comportment,so dat he can be deployable.I can be corrected.

We certainly know that it's one course that we would choose after shortlistment. A wise man plants its seed at different position on same soil. The parable of the sower explains that better. Of course, a foolish man putteth his hand in his bosom because he lacks wisdom.
Of course, a wise man will never be foolish to sleep in times of harvest. Even the bible says that put your hands either here or there. Read the book of Proverbs.
AS FAR AS I AM CONCERN AND HEAVEN BEAR WITNESS, I CAN SUCCEED IN ANYWHERE AND IN ANY CAREER IN LIFE, BUT THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY AND FULFILLED. It's my choice and the choice of many to apply for both NN and NA because if our name is not in one then certainly it will be in the other.
DO YOU KNOW THAT IT IS THE WORK OF YOUR HAND GOD BLESSES. So whats your hand doing? Idle? If thy hand is idle what would God bless. Deuterönomy 28 says the God shall bless the "works" of thy hand. So my friend it doesn't matter whether it's military or not, the reasön I applied is because I love the military and find joy and fulfilment in it and as such want to serve my fatherland as a service man.

If you weren't so confused about choosing a single course as your career nitche, you would have entered the military through NDA and not through DSSC or SSC after university degrees.
.U really has alot to type....I would not talk to u again,i hav looked at ur previous discussions with people and u always claim u ar right,I wil beg one of my friends to upload a cup for ur which wil be an automatic ticket to NDA for dssc, ssc cadet training. Before i stop remember not everybody wants to spend dia entire life in d military, some just want to hav a stinct and move on with dia life:But from ur career objective,u ar d one dat is confused, because u ar just discovering ur purpose, for u to achieve all dat,u should hav enrolled as a regular officer.I hope u dnt see it as an offence.Have a nice day.

Pple that applied for both did that because they want to join the military & are not sure one will work so they tried 2 just incase, not putting ur eggs in one basket doesn't mean you lack direction, It means giving urself more options.

D military as far as i know is for focused people who believe in a particular course, with d way d recruitment is going,if u applied twice for any of the tri services,u will be made to chose one or u loose all of them, because dey wil likely do it together and off course u cannot be i NN,NA or NAF at the same thing.

Army SSC? What about Army DSSC is the 3.2Km also a necessity? Because they got a lot of aged professionals who definitely aren't ready to run that race but got the brains. Like medical doctors smiley
If running is a criteria for qualification and dey cannot run,den let them forget about the NN or NA face other areas dat they ar needed. All i know is dat one should be fit,if u did nt cut ur age marginally ie reduce ur age and d age u declared is reflective of u den u should be able to partake in all processes......

emmanuel4fire: And again, when you eat heavy food blood supply to the brain is reduced the vagus nerve send signals to increase blood supply to the stomach for digestion and absorption . That's why those who eat heavy food fall asleep easily. Its just about knowing how blood flows in relation to activities. Even in situation where the brain has been over stressed the same applies, the brain tends to maintain natures balance by calling for sleep. And if the persön fails to give the brain rest then the brain might do it itself and the individual might slump.
GIVE THY BODY REST AFTER STRESSFUL ACTIVITIES.
THE OFFICER FELL NOT BECAUSE HE WASN'T FIT, BUT RATHER BECAUSE OF NEURALLY MEDIATED HYPOTENSION. His brain was sending the wröng signals due to stress from standing too löng and as such could not compensate for balance between blood supply to the brain and the lower extremities. Remember blood is pooled to the legs than to the head while standing. grin
I pray I make it so I can use my profession for the benefit of the NN or NA. So help me God.
I know all dat,all this u ar speaking ar big big grammer,a man who ate very well and fainted probably hav a breathing malfunction or got himself stucked in an un-ambient atmosphere;Am nt saying u ar not right bc we ar all entitled to our opinion and ur perspective is not d same as mine.I was talking based on d statement dat he fainted and got up 'immediately' bc wen he was standing blood sugar flow to d brain is limited which lead to brief unconciousnes and as he falled blood flow immediately reached d brain and he got up,wether he became stable immediately is none of my concern, whats my concern is dat he fainted and stood up immediately. Is like u ar dssc customer every year? Dnt tell me u registered both army dssc, ssc and navy dssc

Hahaha. @nnesochim you no go kill me with laugh. Um! What actually happened according to poiseulles law in blood flow was that the pressure of blood flow at his lower extremeties was higher than at his upper extremeties and as such the percentage of blood supply to the brain was cut short, far below normal. And you know all organs in the brain including the ear ossicles and cochlea that helps to maintain balance would also be affected whenever blood supply and oxygen is below normal. This was what brought the man to the ground on parade ground. Remember, pressure increases with dept when the legs are standing straight together like attention and slightly decreases when the leg is slant like atice. That's why it's good to put a soldier on atice when he is not marching to avoid slum. These factors also varies with individual body physiology and psychological stress factors. Maybe the guy has trained all night without allowing the brain to rest. Whenever you are at the camp and they give you time to rest please do rest. It seems the guy didn't give himself a break when others were sleeping.
I know all dat,d point is d guy fainted and got up immediately and dat is simply caused by lack of blood sugar medically referred to as hypoglyceamia, thanks
