Iamoilprince: I still believe that everything depends on God! I won't lie my own godfather is a Rtd Rear Admiral, he headed one of the dept in the past. If I eventually get the job, I will still say GOD, cos he brought the man my way. I rather not make it to the interview stage than making it and not making the final list!
Let's all hv plan B and C (If possible), FG recruitment aint reliable. I did DPR 2010 and didn't make it the final list after d interview stage, despite my effort. Believe me guys, my life was shattered then. If u dnt wnt such experience, den work on other things and put less hope on NN!
U ar absolutely correct.

Can we remember how many persons wrote jamb d same year with us?Is it all of them dat eventually got admission?,NO....God in his all knowing nature sorted all of us out and placed us in different institutions.Pls this is a passionate plea,if u already hav a godfather dat is working for u dats very fine, but dnt use it to make statements against Ur creator, dnt doubt d almighty capability of God.Infact u stil need to pray for ur oga at d top so dat he wil follow it up.

General emperor: General Olu @ d 1st plc I wz nt eligible 4 NA,bt dat personal,
NNechim yes I understnd ur strng believ, let me put it straight 2 u,
4 example I wz nt eligible ad smhw I wz shortlisted,it is purely d handiwork of God bcs so many godfathers aswell has candidate bt God picked u out, irrespctv of dat,
U cud av a big godfather ad still yet nt mk d list due 2 1 reasn or d oda bt wt God or urside u ar well safe,
Nnechim do u knw hw many people got dis same of ur strng believ,do u knw dat sm people av fasted ad sowed seeds all 4 dis same faith u takn abt,u ar nt d only 1 wt great believe
Yes u cud nt knw any1 ad still get dere,bt examine ur lif,are u working under grace, dnt deceive ursf ad start blaming God leta, onward together,
Am off,safe you all
Guy,i understand u perefectly, many believe in God,infact some hav gone extra mile to carry God along in this NN issue bt God knows best and his thinking is different from our own, thats why i said initially,he looks at d heart,so many might talk abt God here dat dey ar believing him,but one way or d other dey hav another helping hand,I hope you know such persons exist?Other thing is if u hav prayed fervently, and someones name didnt come out God will still give u another job dat u will be satistfied and fulfilled to do,so kul down and watch ur creator,he knows d best.Another thing is,this issue of delay might favour some persons because d way things ar going now,d final selection of all d tri-service will hold at d same thing and some persons name can come out twice,if u ar from a state dat someone applied for both NN and NAF and eventually he decides to go for NAF,is it nt going to be an advantage? It happened few wks ago with NA dssc and ssc,so lets chil and see what will unfold.

heed101: u r right. nobody can change destiny. God Is Highly Involved
One more thing i want to say is,I dnt know why Nigerians ar struggling to buy dangerous jobs, unemployment has done us a great bad, hmmm, please pals dnt crucify me,Some jobs needs divine direction and Gods plan so dat someone will nt go and die prematurely,I hav heard an army officer telling a relation dat anything dat has to do with military should be based on destiny and Gods will for u,any person destined to be in military will nt be killed by d enemy anyhow,U wil be alive until u reach retirement age,i am nt saying dat all fallen soldiers entered d military wrongly but if u take time to read the profile of some admiral/generals and marshals,u will observe dat most of them ar alive today because of Gods direction and will, let us nt take because of uneployment and follow a pattern not destined by God,because wether u ar a combatant or not, military is military and for those of us who think is easy in navy,u a wrong because dia ar many funny ways to die d navy, none of them is easier than d other.

General emperor: Guz U all shud av patient, dis waitin game is evrywher,cn u imagine we barely av 4 daz left 2 spend in Agwo,,,,NA screening ad we ar all still intact, nobody knws his or her fate,we neva see board nt to talk of chalk,
Lots of people said dey dnt av godfathers,bt it a big/ fat/enourmous lie, everybody here got godfather dat NA hands are tied, dey dnt knw who 2 screen out,bt I dnt see mysf makn d final list though,my mind is set on NN,
So wat am I sayin,if u dnt av godfather pls jst tk ur mind of NN list, jst concentrate on smoda tins bcs I tell u d truth godfatherism is much, den wen d list is out if ur name is dere fine ad gud if nt dere u wud nt av heartache,it jst an advise,God cn nt wnt every1 2 b in NN or NA,pst Chris Okotie contested twice in God's name ad failed lst year pst Tunde Bakare ran as a vice presdn ad Fail, guyz u all 2 use ur head.dec is arnd d corner switch 2 plan B's,stay safe you all ad I wish u all d very best
Guy,this is nice write-up,but I want u to know dat nt ecerybody gets it with godfathers,u will hear come Dec/Jan.to hear peopel testify how dey made it without wordly godfathers, some persons here just wrote jamb ones plus waec/neco,pass all of them and got admmission same year,it is true many ar trusting God but God alone knows d heart of everyone,If u wholy depend on him,he can never fail u,for me in particular,God has never failed me before,I was convinced to apply for NN because of certain things dat happened when application was going on,Guy,I strongly believe i already hav an undelitable slot, one of my friends even offered to get me a top person to help me but i shunned him telling him dat God is greater than anyperson in this world,he directs d thoughs anf actions of king.Guy,people will get with godfathers, but If NN is Gods plan for me,anybody dat tries to remove my name will nt succed.

ceezonnifemi: thank you for your concern and prompt response to all my messages. Just that its quite frustrating, wish i could have done better than this poor result................. Thank u so m,uch
Guy,u dey talk this thing as if no be Nigerian university u attend, well if u attended London or Cambridge i cant tell but for Nigeria, dia ar some people with 2.1 dat cant defend it,some dnt even know how to express themselves.Their is one lady wey back in school, she use to preach and even teach us tutorials as unto year one stuff nah, this girl is very intelligent but at d end she graduated with third class,i got to know from d convocadum thats dat big dairy dat contains names of those dat graduated together with dia departments, faculty and grade. So many factors made you to leave school with third class but i want u know one very important factor of life.......THOUGHT MAKES THINGS,U AR WHAT U THINK,UR LEVEL OF POSITIVE IMAGINATION CAN CATAPULT U INTO A VERY HIGH PLACE U NEVER EXPECTED,SO PLEASE MODULATE UR THINKING TOWARDS POSITIVE THINGS SO DAT THE UNIVERSE WILL HELP U ATTRACT GOOD THINGS TO UR DOORSTEP.

ceezonnifemi: pls sir, it now implies dat dos with PASS grade can not in anyway join the armed forces as a commissioned officer or cadet? Secondly whats the hope of such graduate in pursuance of academic qualifications with such result, am a victim. I will b glad to ur advice @ all friends on NL
Guy,i dnt believe dat grade can prevent somebody from being what God has destined u to be,is only dat it can be a set-back sometime,If God can leave open d door of Noahs ark open until even d snail could enter I dnt think dia is anything dat can stop someone from achieving what he or she so desire, nothing shall prevail against our success. If u want to further ur studies pls go and do PGD then apply for masters.Just keep calm dia is a place God made for you.For instance do u think is everyone with 2.1 dat applied for NN dat will be taken, offcourse no,dia ar people with other grades dat wil stil enter. So dnt see ur grade as a barrier, those people with dia own businesses in town who is asking them of their grade, some of them will stil employ d best qualified graduates.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nigerian Army DSSC And SCC 2013 Recruitment Is Out! by nnesochim: 8:48am On Oct 25, 2013
Phils:
Nigerian Army has no grade specifications. Any graduate can apply. But common, if they are through with selecting those that 'Ogas at the Top' recommended, for 'competence sake', they MAY first go for those with good grades. All na 'As God Willeth' sha. But no take eye look NN or NAF o. E go be direct rear kick.
Especially NN,dey insists it must be 2.1,but u know anything can happen and despite dat u will still find out dat majority of people dat will be enlisted finally are 2.1 candidates.

ceezonnifemi: pls sir i had accident few months back which really messed up my credentials esp my waec original result. Both th waec nd Gce got messed up dat u can't see my age on the result again, u can hardly see also the subject and the grades. Though am not among dos dat went for dssc or ssc but i still want to apply for the coming one pls what's my fate or what can i do pls
Please dnt be too angry, accidents ar never planned and are unwanted, hence nobody will blame u for what happened, pls i suggest u get ur statement of result,d waec result printed online and d spoilt original one and go to waec office, lodge ur complaints, dey normally give 'to whom it may concern' is nt d end of life, some persons parade to whom it may concern because dey claim d original is burnt or lost,d one dat can never be remedied is when u lose ur FSLC,dat one cannot be given but when u report at d state ministry of Education through d primary school u attended, dey wil know what to do.

Nnabugwu8590: Let us analyse our medical result.
Body mass index(BMI) = weight kg/height^2.
Good BMI in military is 19-28
Blood Pressure (bp)=sbp/dbp, where sbp is systolic blood pressure which is defined as the pressure in contraction from the arteries while dbp is diatolic blood pressure which is defined as the blood pressure at rest. Both sbp and dbp are measured in mmhg(millimeter mercury). Good sbp is 90-120 mmhg and good dbp is 70-80 mmhg. For example having 120/80 mmhg, where 120 is the sbp and 80 dbp is normal.
My IBM is 23.3, my sbp is 150 mmhg and my dbp is 80 mmhg.
This shows that my IBM is very good, my sbp is very bad(hypertensive) and my dbp is very good.
So i need practical medical doctors in the house to analyse the correlation between my IBM and my bp and tell me if i am medically fit.
However i was emotionally stressed before i took the bp test.
Thanks
Normal blood pressure=120/80.Pre-hypertension=120-139/80-89.High blood pressure(Stage1)=140-159/90-99.High blood pressure(Stage 2)=Higher than 160/100.U can use dis to advice ur self but i suggest u visit a hospital for confirmation since u said u were tensed up when it was checked.Neverthless,d military personnels know dat ones BP will rise after passing through stress but it wil nt rise marginally if one is normal, i mean healthy.

Alious11: bro i am in thesame stuation. I will go for the screening, then leave if am eventually shortlisted for NN. You can always leave because they will start screening people out from the first day they start the exercise.
Why do u people prefer Navy?,abeg make una remain wia u na dey pls and allow others to benefit,If u ar already shortlisted in NA Or NAF,pls leave this slot for others because for some persons to insist it must be NN den u must hav a godfather dat hav given u assurance.Pls dnt be angry with me ooo,I just aired my view.Though with d way tins ar going,NN will release the list before NA or NAF finnish,so please remain were u dey,God has a reason for taking u dia because dia ar high likelihood dat the exercises wil collide.

Cos ur chances of being enlisted in NA is 99% since u wer among the favoured 30 frm ur state...but for NAF it's 40% just check the diff but i still advice u follow ur hrt...Good luck to u
Anane, pls i advice u to consider two things before u chose,1.Ur qualification,if ur course was directly advertised in one of them please go their because u wil hav more chances dia,2.If u ar qualified in both,i advice u go for NA,because NAF wil take few persons, and dia criteria is too much,d same with NN(only very few wil emerge).I hope u know d reason for tha,Nigeria is more in land mass and therefore land army should be high in number, dis is just one of the reasons.Gudluck as u make ur choice.
