1realBobby: watching Anderlecth vs genk at the moment
and all i can see is that Onuachu cannot play alone up front. He looks clueless and lost whenever he is played as a lone striker. I believe that has been his issue in the super eagles.
I don't know why this genk coach decided to play him alone up front today, but it is definitely not working out.. He is this type of one-two player... He can't hold the ball at all, so he thrives when he has someone to quickly pass the ball to, he moves into good space, gets the ball back and scores. His finishing is actually top notch.
The coach had to bring in Cyriel dessers late in the second half, to assist him up front.
I believe a combo of Paul Onuachu and Victor Osimhen should do the trick in the super eagles... Victor could be the key to unlocking the beastly form of Paul Onuachu in the super eagles. We can't have such a deadly finisher and leave him to rot, just because he can't play alone up front. Onuachu isn't the kind of striker that can play against a high profile team with solid defense! Very simple. At the bolded, he's naturally awful in holding onto the ball, and that alone disqualifies him. I prefer Dessers to Onauchu any day anytime. |

humility33: No bro...Rohr still need call his Belgian coach to ask for how best to use him...and then after call all the SE players to play suit him.... put the ball directly on his head prior he score goals.
I just don't understand why many here wanna waste time on an average striker not until he put up those numbers for a top 5 league and same for SE all I see now is story Some will never agree to this simple truth. |

chrisooblog: men guy Don transform to Belgian league lewandoski. for whatever it's worth he's almost certainly joining a top 5 European club team next season Bros, don't pray he join any of the top 5 European club o. If he eventually does, that's when you'll see the Onauchu we all know. Again, some peeps are already tagging him the "monster machine". The last time I checked, that name is only reserve for a guy who has proven his mettle both in Belgium, France, and now in Italy; he's also proven to be the best striking force when called upon in the National Color. Osimhen is his name. The day Onauchu leaves Genk would be the beginning of his end. No top team in the top 5 European clubs would want to settle for a striker as Onauchu. |

elunico: They would never agree.
From just one game, you could tell who's SE quality and who isn't. This guy has gotten more time than Dessers, maja, Odey, Junior Ajayi, Simi, Nwaekeme, but he has failed to deliver.
He should just concentrate on his club football until we get another coach who can bring out the best in him. Well said.. God bless you bro. |

Odunayaw: What do you mean he has not had sufficient minutes? Some guys here are naturally stup!d, I swear. Onauchu has been given more than enough minutes in the National Team, and yet, he's unable to prove himself. And some people are still carried away because of the cheap goals he scores. |

JohnBullMySon: who did osimhen fight, who did sanusi fight, who did uzoho fight, who did aribo fight, who did ndidi fight. When you become the best in a position, you simply take the shirt. Watch maduka's performances for Sparta and tell me which Nigerian goalkeeper is better than him currently? He displaced two keepers to become no1 there for a reason. No point wasting your energy to drag with these people. Maduka is simply the best 9ja goalie atm, and he'll only get better. The majority of peeps who come here to spew thrash against Maduka are those who hardly watch him play in the Eredivisie. I've been following Maduka's progress since he joined Sparta Rotterdam. He's now their No. 1. |
