ATTRACTED TO MARRIED MEN
✍️BY: Safiya T Idris

Episode 1

"Oh please, you and I know that I only do married men. I don't have time for all this single brôke guys who have nothing else to offer apart from their body. So please tell your Alex to stay far away from me or better still, you can have him since you desire him so much." Ajanigo said while her friend Ejima watched on obviously angry with her choice of words.

Ejima was not the only angry one, Ajanigo was too. Infact she was angrier. She saw no reason why her friend would always want to force a single guy down her throat when she was already aware of her preferences, "married men"

Ejima had once tried to matchmake Ajanigo with her twin brother, then came Daud, followed by Ali, Sam and now Alex.

Ajanigo was just tired of Ejima and her sîlly ploy to get her entangle in a relationship with a single guy.

If not that they had come a long way, Ajanigo would have ended their friendship a long time ago because of her interference in her life.

When would Ejima stop? it's married men or nothing else to Ajanigo and Ejima must learn to live with it.

Ejima and Ajanigo were best of friends but they were nothing alike. Ejima was the calm one while Ajanigo was the loud and sassy one.

Ajanigo was pretty with a very hot body that any man could die for. She knew the power her body held and she never failed to use it to trap men.

Ajanigo only used her well endowed body to trap married rich men. She believed that married men are more caring and there won't be any need for her to stay faithful.

Ajanigo's choices broke many homes. Many women wet their pillow every night because of her. She took their husband's attention away from them.

Many children celebrated their birthdays and happy moments without their father all because of Ajanigo.

Any man she trap's, looses all his sènsès of reasoning. She was that skilled in what she does.

Some women were sent packing out of their matrimonial homes all because of Ajanigo yet she refused to marry their husbands.

Ajanigo was not ready for marriage, she was only ready to acquire properties and destroy homes.

She doesn't care about who gets hurt. She was only focused on doing her thing.
.
.
"Ajanigo when will you stop all this. isn't it better you get a job or something. I mean you've made so much money already, why not start up a business and start living a decent life." Ejima tried to convince Ajanigo one more time.

"You think you are more righteous don't you? Now tell me, how much do you earn after working your a*ss off every month? What business do you think I can do that will fetch me so much money to maintain my lifestyle. Forget about this issue Ejima, I am not stopping this anytime soon." Ajanigo said as she picked up her bag and walked out of Ejima's house angrily.

She believed that, she was born to live a soft life even when she was born into a less privileged home.

Ajanigo had two older sisters and her parents were very much alive but they were not all that close.

Because of Ajanigo's obsession for married men, she had slept with her sister's husband when she visited them. Unfortunately they were caught by her sister and it led to serious problem in the family.

Her sister lost her home because of that incident and their parents wouldn't stop blaming Ajanigo. She was more like the black sheep of the family.
.
.
Immediately Ajanigo stepped out of Ejima's house, she collided with kalid, Ejima's boyfriend. She stared at him for a while and smiled as a thought came into her mind. She was just going to show Ejima that single guys are bàd news.

"Get my number and call me" Ajanigo said to kalid, batting her eyelid flir.tatiously before walking past kalid sèductivèly.

Kalid turned around to watch her as she sashayed away elegantly.

Ajanigo was not interested in kalid but she just had to teach Ejima a lesson. Ejima thought so highly of herself and she must be brought down from her high horse.

It was always kalid this, kalid that and Ajanigo was tired of hearing that name from her friend's mouth. It not like he had anything to offer Ejima so Ajanigo was just going to end the sham they call relationship.

Ajanigo entered her car and was about driving off when a thought breezed into her mind. She needed a new car.

She took her phone from her bag and dialled a number and the person picked up immediately.

"Chief baby, I want another car" Ajanigo said without greetings.

"It is done" chief said without minding her insólènce.

"Should I buy it for you or send the money to you?" He asked without minding that his wife was sitting just a few feet away from him. It was his money and he had chosen to spend it the way he wants so what could his wife possibly do.

Chief's wife moved uncomfortably on her sit, she was already aware of who her husband was talking to.

It was no longer new to her, her husband now chèàt openly ever since she caught them red-handed.

She had suspected her husband for many months before she decided to follow him around discreetly.

It wasn't too long before she caught chief and Ajanigo in the act in a hotel room very close to their home. The disrespect and embarrassment, many people must have seen them together. Chief couldn't even do it far away from home.

His wife had barge into the hotel room which was not locked. Chief had securities so he was so sure nobody would get access to them easily but unfortunately for him, his wife had her way.

She created a scene, shouted down the hotel but at last, she was bundled away like a common crîmînal following the instructions of her husband. A man she gave twenty eight years of her life to.

She almost lost her home because of that incident. She was threatened by her husband never to say a word to Ajanigo or risk loosing her marriage.

Even though Chief's wife was doing so well for herself, she still wanted the Mrs tittle, so she gave up the fîght.

And now chief no longer hide his affair from his wife. He was now bold to pick up his mistress's call anytime without hesitation.

Ajanigo was twenty six years old and was old enough to be chief's daughter, He was 59.

His first son was even older than Ajanigo but it didn't really matter to the both of them. Ajanigo wanted the money and chief wanted the body.
.
.
"Yeey! I am getting a new car! Do I really need a job? Hell no...there will be no better job than this." Ajanigo said, mentally patting herself on the back as she drove out of Ejima's compound.
.
.
Kalid stared into space as Ejima tried to start a conversation with him. He was just not interested, all he could think of at that moment was Ajanigo.

He was no kid, He already knew what calling Ajanigo would lead to. Of course he loves Ejima but Ajanigo was one sweet temptation he was trying so hard to resist.

"Should I call her or not?" He thought as he stared at Ejima who stood up to get something for him from the kitchen.

Kalid noticed for the first time since he started dating Ejima that she's got flat a'ss.
A comparison between Ejima and Ajanigo roused in his heart.

Will kalid be able to overcome this sweet temptation? time shall tell.

MY ENCOUNTER WITH A
GHOST!
By: Safiya T Idris

I walked briskly to the road side, holding the leather bag tightly like my life depends on it.
I took a bike home, since
I was already close to my house.

I was in a haste to go into my room when I drooped from the bike, but the bike man had no change when I gave him 500 naira.
He wanted to look for change, but I decided to let him go "Keep the change"
I said, waving it off like it was nothing, after all I've got some cool cash in the bag, what was 300 naira change to me again.

Immediately I stepped into the compound, I saw Enitan my nosey neighbor, washing her clothes by the of the house.
Ah Safiya, you are back, this one wey you carry leather today, did you bring something for us? Enitan asked.

Bring something for us? Who are the us? Did you send me for something?
Please I don't have time for your non*sense this evening, I said angrily, struggling to Open my door very fast.
Ahahn, na fight? are we quarrelling? Enitan asked but I just ignored her and entered my room.

I kicked off my shoes, and threw my bag to a corner of my single room. I quickly sat on the bed and brought out the money. It was 8 bundles of 1000 naira notes, I dropped the money on the floor and stared at it for a very long time, thinking of what to do.
I then decided to start spending the money after a week, if I do not see auntie glowing looking for me.

I removed all my clothes from my bag and placed the money under my bag before arranging my clothes on top of it.
I couldn't prepare anything that evening, so I went out after making sure my door was locked properly to get Akara (beans cake) from my customer down the street.

I was heading towards my room after buying the Akara when I saw something like a shadow running from the front of my door.
What could that be, I wondered, walking briskly to the front of my door to see what it was, but to my surprise, I saw nothing.
Maybe I am just hallucinating, I said to myself.
I unlocked my door and stepped into my room to meet the shock of my life.

I saw my room disorganized, the clothes that I had arranged earlier, were all over the place, even my utensils, that I arranged by the corner of my room before going to work in the morning, were scattered everywhere and some of it were broken.
I rushed to check my bag and behold, the money was still intact under my bag with no clothes left in the bag.

What is happening? How did this happen? The lock was not broken when I came back and the key was with me. This has never happened before.
This were all the thoughts going through my mind until I was startled by a loud knock on my door

Who could that be. I wondered in fear.

Continuation....

Driver please stop, I said quickly.
" You wan drop, and you no drop when that girl drop. I am not stopping until I get to the next bus stop. The driver said angrily.

She forgot something with me, please stop let me quickly give it to her, I begged, but the driver never stopped until we got to the next bus stop.
"You go come down abi make we dey go" the conductor said, when we got to the next bus stop.
I angrily got down from the bus, cu*rsing.

What type of problem is this one, I should be heading home to rest now only for this lady to come and spoil my plans, I ranted while some people passing by stared at me like someone loosing her mind.
" Eyahh, na so e dey take start" a passerby said and I glared at him angrily.
Na your mama head e go start oloshi, I cur*sed and he turned back to show me his middle finger. "F*u.c*k you"
And I gave him my five fingers back, " Waka" rolling my eyes at him.

After the mild drama, I started walking back to where the glowing lady dropped, when a thought suddenly came into my mind.

What is in this bag? I asked myself.
I looked around and saw a closed container store under a big tree. I walked quickly to stand between the container store and the tree, to have a little bit of privacy but some people still kept trying to see what I was doing.

I paid them no attention and faced my business, I checked the leather bag and saw a tied black nylon in it.
What could be inside this nylon, I wonder.
I went ahead to untie the nylon and I almost fainted in shock.

I saw a huge amount of money in the nylon and a piece of note at the top.
I looked at the note and I saw a phone number and a name written on it "Iko-ojo my love"

Who is Iko-ojo, I wondered, does the money belong to him? It must be pass 30 minutes since Mrs glowing dropped, will I still meet her there?
Should I even return this money?
My rent is almost due, and I still have to send money to my sick mother and my younger ones in the village and we are still at the second week of the month. I am owing mama leti money for the foodstuffs I bought at her shop since last week.
And I still have to pay my Contribution money this week, and I can't dodge it because I have already collected the contribution money.
Did God just send me a savior?
These were all the thoughts that were going through my mind while I stared at the money greedily.

At the end, the greedy nature, I never knew I had won over my good nature.

MY ENCOUNTER WITH A
GHOST!
By: Safiya T Idris

On that faithful day, I closed from work earlier because I was feeling unwell.

I stood by the road side at Mararaba waiting for a bus that will take me to Masaka when I saw someone that blew my mind away.

Walking towards me, was a young lady of about 22years or so. I have never seen a person glow that much.
I kept staring, until she was a few feet to where I was standing.
Note, Safiya is straight, I don't fancy my fellow women in a se*xu.al manner, but why I was so smitten by this lady is what I can't explain.

She stopped right by my side and said hi,
Hi, I managed to reply too, because I became totally confused when she stopped by my side.
She started waving her hands to stop a bus while all my concentration was on her.
I noticed, she was holding a leather bag apart from a small bag that was hanging across her shoulder.

A bus soon stopped, a meter from where we were standing, and we ran to catch up with the bus when the conductor beckoned on us to come.

I entered the bus first and the lady followed.
She sat close to me and our journey of few kilometers began.
"Bring your money, una hold change ba, the conductor said, and everyone started searching their purse for money.

I didn't bother looking, because I always hold my change before entering any bus.
"Can you please assist me with this", glowing auntie said, giving me her leather bag to hold for her, before searching for her money in her small bag I guess.

I reluctantly took the leather bag from her.
"What is here that you can not carry by yourself"
I said to myself.

We all gave the conductor our money, with a little argument here and there.
" Who give me 500, I no get change, hold your change before you enter bus, una no go hear"
The conductor shouted while the passenger he was talking to, fired back.

For some unknown reason, the glowing lady made me feel uncomfortable but I didn't know why.
I was lost in my thoughts when she suddenly said.
Driver, I will stop at the next bus stop at Gwandara.

The driver soon stopped at the bus stop and the glowing lady turned to me and said, please don't forget to deliver the message.
What message? I asked in confusion, but before she could reply, the conductor became impatient.
Madam abeg drop make we dey go, no waste our time. He said.

Glowing auntie, drooped from the bus and waved at me, and I also wave back, still in confusion.
We moved just a stone throw From where she dropped when I suddenly remembered something.

Episode 3

What! Ireti shouted. Rahim and Shola turned their back quickly and were surprised to see Ireti standing at the foot of the stairs in shock. How did she get here? Rahim thought in panic. It's good she already knows because I'm tired of pretending, Shola thought while keeping and innocent look. Madam, he rap.ed me, I am sorry ma, shola said, almost in tears. What the he,ll are you talking about? Rahim yelled at shola in disbelief.

He was surprised by shola's statement. It was true that he do sneak into her room at night to sleep with her, but Shola never resisted for once. As a matter of fact, Shola gave him the green light first. Shola even told him she loves him after one of their cr*azy night together, but Rahim wasn't in love but in lust with shola. so he wandered why shola was bringing ra.pe into the matter.

Baby, I can explain, Rahim said, walking towards Ireti who was still standing in shock. but before he could touch her, Ireti ran quickly up the stairs. because she was running too fast, she missed a step and fell down the stairs. What did I do to deserve this wicke*dness from Rahim, was the last thought on Ireti's mind before she lost consciousness.

Ireti had heard when Rahim called out shola to stop earlier. Why is shola here when I didn't call for her, was she eavesdropping on our conversation? Ireti thought, and quickly stood up from the floor where she was crying. She quietly opened the door and followed Rahim and Shola. I will know the truth of this whole thing from their conversation, Ireti thought. She wanted to stop Rahim when he was holding shola so tight and Shola was whimpering in pains, but decided at the last minute to still wait to hear what they were going to say.

Rahim ran to his wife immediately, baby please I am sorry he said trying to wake up Ireti. When Ireti wasn't responding, Rahim quickly carried her and ran towards the door. You fo*ol why are you just standing there, come and open the door for me, Rahim shouted at shola who was watching the whole drama with a surprise look. She quickly went and opened the door and Rahim made his way out of the house with Ireti in his arms, but before he stepped out of the house, he stopped where shola was holding the door and said, Shola, pray nothing happens to my wife.

Shola rolled her eyes and hissed loudly before banging the door close behind Rahim. She quickly went to her bedroom and picked up her phone which Ireti had bought for her on her last birthday. Shola dialed a number and waited for a while for the person at the other end to pick up. few seconds later, the person picked the call. Hello, plan A, accomplished, she is on her way to the hospital unconscious, shola said with a smile. The person at the other end laughed loudly, she will be out of that house in no time, the person said and they both laughed loudly like mentally challenged people.

Rahim paced up and down at the hospital waiting for the doctor to come and tell him how his wife was doing. He had drove on high speed to the hospital earlier, it was a miracle he wasn't involved in an accident. What have I gotten myself into, Rahim thought. How can shola be pregnant for me when I am infertile, he wondered.

Could it be that, the last treatment I took worked? But even if it worked, Ireti should have been the one pregnant, not that dirty lousy maid, Rahim kept mumbling while he paced up and down at the hospital.

Rahim had known that he was infertile even before he married Ireti. He managed to hide it well and no one knew except his doctor, who he had warned never to let anyone know, not even his family members. Rahim watched in guilt while everyone blamed Ireti for their childlessness. He watched his mother treat his wife badly because she was unable to conceive, though Rahim tried so many times to stop his mother but still, he never told her the truth. Rahim couldn't bear the Shame of being called and infertile man, so he let Ireti take the blame alone.

When the doctor was taking too long to come out, Rahim removed his phone from his pocket and called his elder sister who lived in the same city with him. Rahim was still on the call when the doctor came out of the emergency unit, Mr Rahim can I please see you in my office, the doctor said and made his way to his office. Rahim who had hanged up the call Immediately he saw the doctor, quickly followed him into the office.

The doctor offered Rahim a sit and sat down too. Your wife is out of danger now but her blood pressure is still a little bit on the high side, so we will have to keep her in the hospital to monitor her for a day or two, the doctor said. Oh, thank you doctor, Rahim said. You are welcome, but can I ask you a question, the doctor said. Please go ahead doctor, you don't even need to ask, we are more like family, right? Rahim Said and the doctor smiled.

Rahim, your wife's blood pressure was over the roof when you brought her to the hospital, what really happened to her, the doctor asked. She missed a step and fell down from the stairs, Rahim answered. Did anything happen before that, the doctor asked again. No nothing happened, Rahim lied. Hmmm, the doctor mumbled and stared intently at Rahim. Rahim who sat quietly for some time suddenly asked? After the treatment for my infertility recently, can I now get a woman pregnant? It's a 50/50 chance Mr Rahim, but we can run a test on you again to know if the medication you are on is working well, the doctor said.

No doctor, never mind, Rahim quickly said. He decided to go with the 50% that was in his favor. When Rahim left the doctor's office, he saw his sister coming into the hospital. She knew the hospital that Rahim always goes to. Sister mi good evening, Rahim greeted. How are you Rahim? How is Ireti now? What really happened? Kemi asked in one breath.

She fell down the stairs, Rahim said. What? Why will she fall down just like that when it's not even her first time of using the stairs, was she sick? Kemi asked.
No she wasn't sick, Rahim replied. Then how did it happen? kemi asked again. Kemi was the only one who never bothered Ireti in their family, she was just indifferent about Ireti.

Sister mi sit down let us discuss something important. This is not the right time but I need to get this whole thing out of my chest, Rahim said. Is it that serious? Kemi asked, walking to sit on the long chair at the reception. Rahim sat beside his sister and started talking. Shola my maid is pregnant for me. What? Kemi asked in surprise. Yes she is, and Ireti found out, that's why we ended up here.

Kemi became really angry. Don't tell me Ireti is angry because another woman did what she couldn't do for many years, kemi asked in anger. Rahim smiled, so sister you are not angry because of what I did? Rahim asked in surprise. Why should I be Rahim, should you remain childless forever because Ireti is barren, kemi said.

But I love my wife, Rahim said feeling guilty. You don't need to look sad, you did the right thing Rahim and i am proud of you. I am going to be an aunt soon and my mother is going to have another grandchild and from her only Son too, kemi said happily.

Have you informed mama about this good news? Kemi asked. No, Rahim said. Why? She needs to hear this good news, kemi said and brought out her phone to call their mother.

When mama hears this, I know she will definitely come to the city, and the house is going to be so hot for Ireti, Rahim thought sadly. And true to Rahim's thoughts, mama Rahim started packing her bags in readiness to go to the city immediately kemi called, to give her the news of shola's pregnancy.

Episode 2

You mean another woman spent days in my house when I traveled? Ireti asked in surprise. Yes ma, shola answered. Could it be one of my husband's sister? Ireti asked again, praying so hard for it not to be what she was thinking.

Madam, it was not his sister. I know auntie Ramota and auntie kemi very well and the lady that stayed here was non of them. Shola said trying so hard to convince Ireti.
Ireti was in deep thought when shola interrupted. Madam, oga warned me not to tell you this, but you have been so kind to me. I cannot sit down and watch all this ladies destroy you home. The thing is that, oga has been bringing different ladies to this house whenever you are not around. What! Ireti said in dismay.

Yes ma, sometimes he comes back home with girls when you go to work, and anytime you travel, he brings different ladies home and some even stay here for days. I didn't want to tell you this before, because I don't want you to be heartbroken but it is getting too much. I have to let you know, so that you can address it before it gets out of hand, shola said.

Ireti who couldn't bear the pain of what she was hearing suddenly burst into tears. How can Rahim do this to me, despite all we have been through together, she thought in anguish. I'm sorry ma, this is why I didn't want to tell you, shola said. You don't need to be sorry shola. I'm glad you let me know everything that has been happening behind my back. Thank you, you can go now, Ireti said in a teary voice. Okay ma, just take it easy, everything will be fine, shola said and left for her room.

Ireti couldn't sleep anymore, she stood up from the bed and sat On the cushion chair in the bedroom. How can Rahim bring another woman to our matrimonial home? So Rahim has been cheating on me? How come I never noticed? Ireti kept asking questions upon questions but got no response.

Ireti was still sitting at the same position when Rahim entered the bedroom. He had returned from work earlier but went straight to the dinning area and called Shola for his meal. He saw his wife's car when he drove in from work. so he decided to have his dinner before going upstairs to spend some quality time with his wife. He left for his bedroom as soon a he finished eating.
Baby you are back, Rahim said, going close to Ireti, to kiss her, but Ireti shoved him aside angrily. What's wrong baby? are you tired from the journey? Rahim asked in confusion.

Ireti stood up from the chair and made her way towards the bed, she picked up the bracelet that shola had given her earlier and raised it up to Rahim's face. Who owns this Rahim? Ireti asked. Rahim looked at the bracelet in fear, he had seen it on the wrist of the woman he brought home when his wife travelled. Baby, is it not yours? Do I wear women stuffs? How should I know whose bracelet this is? Rahim asked many questions in one breath. How did she find this bracelet? He thought.

Rahim, before I lay a curse on you, tell me whose bracelet this is, Ireti said angrily. I don't know! Rahim shouted, but he was shaking inside. You don't know? Okay who was the strange woman that you brought into our home when I traveled? Ireti asked in a loud voice. My God, shola I will k!ll you, Rahim thought. What woman are you talking about babe? Rahim asked pretending not to know. He tried to get close to Ireti to touch her and talk his way out of the matter but Ireti stopped him.

Rahim, don't think I am a fool. you must tell me who the woman you brought into this house was! Ireti said, standing her ground. Rahim thought for a minute and decided to change tactic. I am waiting for your explanation, Ireti said, interrupting his thoughts.
Don't ask me stup*id questions woman! How dare you? I just came back from work and instead of welcoming me with a hug or something after a stressful day at the office, you are asking me use.less and irrelevant questions, Rahim shouted leaving Ireti in shock.

How did he change so much? Ireti thought. The Rahim she knew never raised his voice at her. He was so gentle and calm. Rahim are you okay? Ireti asked in disbelief. Yes yes I am fine, I am tied of you and your use.less questions, Rahim shouted again. How could you Rahim? You cheated on me, not just that, you brought another woman into our home and must have slept with her on our matrimonial bed and this is all you can say? Ireti asked in a teary voice.

I'm done here, I cannot stand here and listen to this rub'bish, Rahim said walking out of the bedroom. Ireti sat down dejectedly on the floor and started crying. Immediately Rahim stepped out of his bedroom, he saw shola running towards the stairs. Shola had been eavesdropping on their quarrel and she ran away from the door when she heard footsteps coming towards the door.

Hey you, stop there, Rahim shouted and shola stopped in her tracks. Rahim angrily walked up to shola and held her tightly by her wrist and dragged her down the stairs. What did you tell my wife? He asked in anger. I did not tell her anything, shola said whimpering in pain. She tried to drag her hand from Rahim but he didn't let her. Of course you did, if not you, who else did? I warned you didn't I? You ungrateful nit*wit, Rahim said, still holding shola's wrist tightly. Please let me go sir, I didn't say anything, shola said in pain. I will let you go, but you will be leaving my house this minute, Rahim said.

Shola suddenly pushed Rahim and he almost lost balance because he wasn't expecting it. I will not leave, she said boldly. What! Rahim asked in surprise. Yes, you heard me right Mr Rahim, shola said. Mr Rahim? Rahim asked in astonishment. What happened to oga or sir? Rahim thought. I will not leave this house. Not after all the nights, you have been sneaking into my room to sleep with me has paid off. I am carrying your child Rahim. Shola said smirking.

What? Rahim shouted in surprise. But he was more surprised when he heard another voice which was not his, shouting the same thing, what!!!

Episode 1

Shola, don't tell my wife that a lady came to stay in this house, when she returns. Rahim said to his house help.

Rahim led his girlfriend out of the house, while shola continued with the house chores. Rahim's wife had traveled to see her sick mother in the village earlier that week, and Rahim quickly called one of his girlfriends to spend the rest of the week with him.
His wife would be returning that day so his girlfriend had to leave.

Rahim and Ireti had been married for five years, but the union was not blessed with a child. Ireti got herself tested and she was satisfied okay and could conceive but Rahim refused to visit the hospital to get tested. I am perfectly fine and can impregnate a woman, let's just wait for Gods time, Rahim often said to his wife, yet he kept cheating on her with different women. Rahim thought he could get, at least one of his girlfriends pregnant but he tried for years and didn't succeed.

On the other hand, Rahim's family, especially his mother wouldn't let Ireti be. She travels all the way from the village to her son's house just to make Ireti's life miserable. I won't let you sit quietly and enjoy my son's money for nothing. Give me a grandchild or leave my son's house, mama Rahim will often say to Ireti.

Ireti became a shadow of herself. sadness, tears and sorrow became her companions. Her mother inlaw never gave her a breathing space and her husband kept telling her to wait till God's time.
*************************

Shola picked up a bracelet under the table when she was cleaning the sitting room. She went to her room and kept the bracelet in her bag. She went to the kitchen to start preparing food before her madam returns. Few hours later, Ireti came back home, she honked her car for few minutes before lamidi the gateman came to open the gate.

Lamidi, what took you so long to open the gate, Ireti asked lamidi who was sweating and panting like someone who ran a marathon.
Sorry madam, I was taking my bath, lamidi lied. Welcome ma, he said again after a short pause.

Ireti looked at him with and unconvinced eyes, from head to toe and simply answered, thank you. Please help me get the things in the trunk of the car, Ireti said, picking up her handbag and making her way towards the house.

Before Ireti opened the door, shola rushed out of the house. Welcome ma, she said, collecting Ireti's handbag from her. Shola was looking all flushed and sweaty. Are you okay? Ireti asked. Yes ma, welcome ma, shola answered quickly. Okay if you say so, how have you been? Ireti said. I'm fine ma, thank you, shola said. Ireti rolled her eyes. she wondered why shola kept addressing her as ma, all the time... making her feel old. She was 26 while shola was 29

Ireti who was so compassionate, took pity on shola when her friend introduced shola to her. Shola was brought to the city by Ireti's friend to look for a job. Shola had a poor mother to take care of and she was the only surviving child of her mother. her father di.ed when she was 12years old and her responsibility fell on her mother's shoulder after her father's dea"th. Her mother struggled to take care of her until she developed a long term illness and she was advised by a doctor not to stress herself too much, so that she can live longer. So her responsibility fell back on Shola. no one was willing to help shola in the village, and there was nothing tangible to do in the village. So she was glad when funke her childhood friend, who was lucky to get married to a rich man at the city, made an offer to take her to the city where she can get a job.

Shola agreed to the offer immediately, at least she could send money to her mother for her feeding and medications when she gets paid. Shola warned her mother, not to do anything that could bring more challenges to her health, before leaving the village. Her mother was sad, and tried to stop her from leaving but she also knew that they needed the money.

Funke already had domestic staffs at her home, and she didn't even want her childhood bestie to work for her. So funke discussed with Ireti, her friend and Ireti being the compassionate one, accepted funke after hearing her sad story.
*************************

Is my husband not back yet? Ireti asked when she stepped into the living room. No ma, shola answered. Okay just give me my bag, Ireti said stretching forth her hand to collect her handbag from shola. Please arrange the foodstuffs lamidi would be bringing in, to their rightful places in the kitchen, Ireti said and made her way up the stairs to her bedroom. Okay ma, shola answered.

Ireti took her bath and went to the dinning area to eat. Shola had already set the table earlier. After eating, Ireti went straight to her bedroom to rest and wait for her husband. She was so tired from the journey because the road from her village to the city was very bad.
I'm so tired, but the stress is worth it, as long as my mom is fine now, Ireti said and fell on the bed like a log of wood.
She fell asleep as soon as her head touched the pillow.

Madam, shola called, she had entered the bedroom without permission when she knocked and got no response from Ireti. Madam, shola called again after starring at Ireti for a while. Ireti turned and opened her eyes slowly, she almost jumped from the bed when she saw shola.

Shola what are you doing Here, and what is it that couldn't wait? Ireti asked angrily. Sorry for waking you up ma, shola said, bowing her head slightly and looking remorseful.
I don't mean to shout at you shola, I was just scared, Ireti said, feeling guilty.

I'm sorry for scarring you ma, I just want to give you this, shola said, handing over the bracelet she had found earlier to Ireti. Ireti collected the bracelet and stared at it for a while. This is not mine, who owns this, and where did you get it from? Ireti asked. I found it under the table when I was cleaning the house ma, you can ask oga, maybe the lady that spent some days here when you traveled owns it, shola said, looking innocent.

Hi, I disliked your comment initially and it looked like you were attacking me. But it turns out you were the only right person in over 24,000 views. I have learnt from this experience not to post one's personal life online or expect to get the best answer. majority might be wrong.

Hauwa and I have gone our seperate ways. We are on good terms I hope. The good thing about the breakup is that my mom didnt play any role in it. Her influence didnt even affect the seperation.

What let to the seperation is that I found out that Hauwa likes girls too. Yeah you read that right. Well I cant deal with a woman who swings both ways.

I dont want to assasinate her character cos she's a nice person inherently but i cant deal with Lesbianism. I guess independent women are prone to such feelings. I had to move on unfortunately.

As for my mom, I have introduced someone else to her and she loves the lady to the moon and back My sisters love her too. The lady family love my family and I too. I am happy and everyone is happy.

I really loved her but love alone doesnt sustain a relationship. I hope she finds a man that can deal with a Lesbian. And I'm sorry I couldnt deal.

I didnt want to bring up this issue again because I got a lot of backlash when it went viral, even tried deleting the post, but I couldnt. I am now replying you cos you are the only person who saw the future and gave the accurate advice amongts thousands of people who viewed the post.

I feel I am now on the right path with the right person and we are getting all the support that an intending couple should get

Thank you.
I wish you the best of luck in your new found relationship. It's better everyone in your family accepted your lady this time.

You would be happy, she would be happy, most importantly everyone in your family is happy. And now you can have your peace of mind.

Cheers, I pray it all ends in praise.

Hypocrite, if it was your father will you advise him to resign? Useless Peasant, crying more than the bereaved.
You are a senseless fool just like your moronic father. Did I talk to you? You are the foolish idiot crying more than the bereaved. You stupid fool that can not comment without insulting your mother. Since you don't respect your father, you think you can insult any body's father without remorse. Take your frustrated self out of my mention and go treat your mental disorders.

Davido truly has special love for this boy. Chioma on the other hand is so lucky to tame davido of his uncontrollable philandering by just giving birth to a boy for him. Had he not be a boy, I'm sure Davido wouldn't have taken her seriously. Remember he must have done scanning on her to ascertain the sex of baby right in the womb before he proposed and eventually went for traditional marriage rites.
He went for a traditional marriage right? But I don't think they took pictures of that event. Or is introduction now a traditional marriage right?

Meaning what. Tobi is still very much around in the entertainment space. He's been getting lot of endorsements. Well I know you are a Titan or whatever you guys call yourselves in your secret groups. But don't be too envious of other people's success. These people don't even care about you.
They don't care about you too. They don't even know you exit. Why are you so pained when you really don't know what I meant.
Imagine associating me with what I don't know, I only meant he styled Alex and Tobi when they were going everywhere as a couple but now they no longer do that.
And you are ranting about Tobi's endorsement. Like it's you and him that share the money.
If you like rant from now till tomorrow, you will never get a dime from that endorsement money.

I have always mind my business since I joined this forum because I don't want any trouble. But vile people like you will still want to drag me to unnecessary drama.
