I (almost) always view posts without commenting. I believe comments should only be given when it adds value to a topic. I feel that's the noble way of behaving on a public forum. |
Closest to that would be Ronna McDaniel, the Republican National Committee chairwoman. She's also Mitt Romney's niece. |
If a buy a phone or other electronics from aliexpress with you guys, would I have any issues with nipost. |
. True, the set of skills that enable someone win elections in Nigeria are the same that make that person an indecent human. Our electoral system is like a sieve that filters out good behaviour and rewards bad behaviour. I think a solution to this would be to allow people contest elections on an individual basis, not on a party basis. If this is done, lots of corruption (which takes place in political parties) would be eliminated. The issue of defections would also be over. Party politics encourage group think and tribal inclinations. It causes people to see good and bad as what their party says is good and bad. If people come out as individuals to contests, the voters would see the individuals for who they are. No one would vote them simply because there are in APC or PDP. This party problem is not unique to Nigeria and happens all over the world though. Someone may ask, won't this lead to so many people trying to contest for political positions? Well, yes and no. First of all it would reduce the initial barrier to entry of cost (in the name of forms) imposed by political parties. This way, elections are not just for the wealthy. Secondly, a system of collecting signatures (digitally unique signing) could be utilised. Signatures are a way of showing you have the required support to be a viable candidate, similar to signing a petition. NIN number or other unique identifiers could be used to ensure signatures are signed by the electorate. This is already practiced in countries that allow for independent candidates. In this case, there would be a threshold (for instance signatures of at least 5% of the registered electorate). . |

Infinix is also launching its smart tv in India. It's probably going to be the same thing launched in Nigeria. |
Notice how the term used changed from 'doctors' to 'experts'. Also notice how they are no longer from the chinese government to assist Nigeria medically but are now from a civil engineering company, 'doing some projects'. |

Using blockchain for elections would be the best approach. Such a system would be decentralised (meaning no need for a central inec server). As a matter of fact we would all be stakeholders in the process. Inec would just be a limited to supervisory role. A blockchain based election is practically tamper proof. It's like everyone interested can have a copy of all transactions (voting data) in real time. In other words a lot of people (or everyone interested depending on the implementation) would serve as servers simultaneously verifying each other. This system is what makes bit coins secure. Though still relatively new has been tested in some countries e.g Estonia, some parts of Sierra Leone (for election auditing), a few local elections in the US. |
Nigerian politicians act like rulers and not leaders. They see power as something that belongs to them, they don't realise that this should be democracy where power belongs to the people and everyone is equal. This is why you see escorts of politicians (and politicians themselves) act so arrogantly towards the people who pay them (taxpayers' money). Political leaders ideally are servants of the people (employees of the people), not lord over them. |

This is inaccurate information. I did a reverse image search, turns out the picture is from an indian school. Information like this should be first verified to be accurate before posting.
