A lot of our leaders are actually horrible speakers. They 'misyarn' often. From 'Stealing is not Corruption' by GEJ to '97% & 5%' by Buhari. In debates, there's no room for prepared speeches. Of course, you can study your points, but you have to be ready for random attacks. A lot our leaders don't have much to offer- they don't believe in their manifesto so they can't defend it properly.

The panel of judges who ask questions should also be very intelligent people, armed with barrages of difficult questions.

Another thing is that well publicised debates will make more people hold leaders accountable. The average lower class Northerner loves to listen to the radio all the time. By the time he's heard one candidate repeat the same points 10 times in different debates, and the leader fails to deliver, it won't take too much convincing to recruit him for a mass protest.

From primaries, if we can choose good candidates, the general elections will be more of an issue of who's better and not who's worse (as it has always been).

That place is a land fill.Thr is no incinerator thr or refuse processing plant The area was already built up before the place was converted to a dump site. It was a stop gap measure to accomodate the huge refuse problem for a big city like lagos.
The PSP guys had already been informed about the closure of that place and a dumpsite in epe was being opened.
