@poster, i strongly believe dat civil service job is far better than banking job, u might be receiving btw 90-150k as a starter bt the other is still better on the long run. no body really bosses u around, u re not given target, u dont close very late, u hav time for ur self and u re sure dat it ll not bankrupt. 4get about the so called consolidation.

The bottom line is; still follow ur heart, ur job satisfaction is better than fat pay.

i hav a friend, who got an employment wit oceanicbank last december. He always complains that he doesnt hav money because they hav not started paying them, he is a graduate though.

My question is; how long does it take to be confirm, and can you be working in a bank for six months now without pay?

Please i need some info, just curious.

It was after the 3.2 kilometre race, where the boys were given 18 mins to get to the end point being the Army day primary school in G.R.A. PortHarcourt after the famous polo club, while the girls were given 20 mins to get there, gallant, a light skined nigerian who made it meritorius to the finish point lost his life.

What a waste. It all happened after the race, while the young man was trying to regain lost strenght suddenly slump, while fellow candidate for the immigration recruitment exercise and officers rushed to him trying to give him mouth to mouth respiration. Could u belive dat there was no OXYGEN on ground inspite of the fact dat three ambulances were available.

The young man was later rushed to the hospital, only to hear later dat after the test dat the young man didnt make it tru.

Ho what a waste.

@ fotodaddy, i use pathfinder jeeps with tinted glasses though lightly tinted, a couple of times when d police stops me i njust explain to them that i dont need a permit for it.

I think most times it depends on your approach and personality. do not be intimidated by the police.

@ all i really dont see any tin wrong wit autos, it has to do wit u, ur maintainance culture.
1 tin u shud no is dat autos are not tolerant like manu\al drives if u misuse dem, sorry dey dump u wen u least expect.
i cant even remember the last time i drove a manual though hav a manual 190E abadoned cos nobody in the house wants to drive a manual.all the cars i use now are auto, d only prblem i had wit an auto was my 1998 babyboy, after mush repairs i had to change the gear box completely for 160k dats after spending almost 2ice dat amt.
just bought a toyota first lady auto for my kid brother 8mts ago and he has been enjoying d ride.so folks it haS 2 do wit ur maintainace culture maintain ur auto u ll hav no prob.

@earthrealm, i dont think u need a permit 4 a factory tinted glass if u actually know wat 2 say to the police, a couple of times wen i am asked 2 produce a permit, i always insist dat i dont need a permit 4 it cos its factory tinted and mine is not all dat too dark.

the nigerian thing has really eaten too much into nigerians too bad. Only if our leaders will do the right things, provide basic amenities, infracstructural facilities etc i tell u nigeria will b just ok cos this country is damn rich very very rich.

come to think of it, it's true nigeria is very corrupt like dem they talk, who among them is not corrupt, is it the americans, italians, british, germans, lebanese or isrealis expatriates who will render services worth $100 and collect $1000, or come into the counrty without a dime and takes so much more than wat u earn as an indigine when leaving the counrty.

the so called white expatriate , who are they, are they not ordinary road side technicians over there?

we have a lot to say abt them, its quite unfortunate that we dont know our own, thats all.
