Controversial and flamboyant Zambian pastor , Prophet Anointed Benard, popularly known as Commander 1, last week asked his church female members to bring various soaps to church, so that the soap can be anointed by a special prayer.

Church members mostly females stormed the Shammah Miracle Embassy church for the Prophet to pray and get it converted to supernatural soaps.

According to Tumfweko, once the soap is prayed for it will to enable the ladies lure men into love relationships, among other things.

Prophet Anointed Benard claimed that once he prayed for the soap it become “supernatural” and it would help the ladies in sorting out various problems in their relationships.

Last month, Prophet Anointed Benard asked his members to bring out their bank cards and prayed that God should miraculously credit their cards.

The Federal High Court sitting in Kano has sentenced an automobile parts dealer, Okeke Chika Victor, to 10 years imprisonment over heroin smuggling. Victor pleaded not guilty to a one-count charge of unlawful importation of heroin filed against him by NDLEA.


After five months of trial, Justice Sale Kogo Idrissa found him guilty and sentenced him to 10 years imprisonment. The heroin weighing 10.6kg and concealed inside new submersible water pumping machines were illegally imported from Maputo in Mozambique in April 2016.


NDLEA officers at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) made the discovery during an inward screening of an Ethiopian Airline flight. After follow-up operation the convict was arrested on September 3, 2016 and charged to court.

The EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit apprehended two suspected Nigerian drug dealers following a tip off by concerned members of the Kempton park community. The pair was found in possession of drugs to the street value of almost R14000.

Officers on Saturday, February 4th, raided the suspects flat on Carl street, where forty six ziplocks of cat were found between mattresses.

The two 30-year old male Nigerian nationals, who were preparing to go out and sell, were charged with possession and dealing in illicit substance at the Kempton park police station.

They will appear in the Kempton park Magistrate’s Court soo
