Many factors but major reason was non availability of course s material. Let me jist u a litle, courses material were awarded to profs, i mean gray hairs profs from various universities (beleived to be experts) . Then 2 unit couse was 200k while 3 unit course where 300k these peopl collected 50% up front, but refuse to comply with submission deadline. Because most of them are not ICT compliance and NOUN is ICT base institution. So no option than to look for young profs and Drs who are ICT complaince but then money was another issue because nobody can ask these old profs for refund, NOUN still need them anyway, they are HODs and Directors of study in various universities, dont forget opinion of these people matter in academic community. So they must no speak negative about young institution like NOUN tbat was looking for society acceptabity. The problem doesnt end there, i will cont later

Well done guys, We NOUN pioners are proud of u all, keep the flag flying. How time flies, just like yesterday pain and endurance of 8 years in NOUN for 4 years courses is worth while at last. NOUN is getting there. Thank God I didnt allow 4 years delay ( WITHOUT carry over ) during my undergrate discourage me from register immediately for master degree, today i'm now an MSC holder. Working with a telecom company.. To God be the glory ( sorry for the typos)

Power supply has improved according to data released from NERC but many areas are not benefiting due to the activities of RATIONING by the various DISCO's.

In my area Covered by Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), I have a prepaid meter and pay a fixed rate each month irrespective if I use power or not. I don't have any problem with that if power is supplied when available, but then there is this practice of rationing 2days on 2days off by the AEDC for reasons best known to them. During the days that we are supposed to have power, we sometimes remain in darkness for 6 to 8 hours at times we dont even have power at all.

Due to this system I AM IN DARKNESS FOR MORE THAN 15 DAYS EVERY MONTH DUE TO RATIONING AND WOULD STILL HAVE TO PAY A FIXED RATE FOR FULL 30 DAYS BEFORE PAYING MY BILLS.

IF they have to give me power for half a month using rationing (1day on 1day off or whatever) why should I pay 30days fixed charge in addition to the ever increasing bill.

This fixed rate scheme is a SCAM. Either the DISCO's scrap their rationing policy and charge your fixed rate monthly or charge rates for days they supply power according to their rationing policy. Why should I keep paying for services NOT RENDERED.

Whats your take on this issue.

Your own is better, here at abule-egba, Lagos they ration it as well b 2 day on 1 day off. No meter at end of the month they send bill of 9k to 10k

My mind has been baffled for years with the emergence of Negative Journalism which has spearheaded the Nigerian Media championed by Sahara Reporters, I have Keenly observed the manner and approach of their broadcast and publications on YouTube and all their platforms and i think that is not Journalism, that is a campaign to Violence and war. The content and interpretation of the messages of this media house can set a nation on fire. I am fully aware of the international laws that guides Journalism and I think Sahara Reporters has gone past their limit. For me what the Instigate is hate and rancor, it is a destructive media.

My dear friends I have decided to pursue a lawsuit against them and I am willing to fight it to the highest court in the world. Ibhave posted this on my Facebook, and got thousands of reaction, I am preparing to get it on YouTube and other media platforms. I think this kind of Journalism is bad for Nigeria and am preparing my evidence and facts to challenge this case in court. No services? what about part time students of same age bracket in conventional universities? FG since 2001 excluded certain
set of student from participating in service. The list include Part-time students ODL students (NOUN falls into this category ) etc

No lecturer? NOUN course materials where designed in way they can be easily understood, beside there is
facilitation for 100 and 200 level students
