It takes 4 weeks to get d visa. Check their website. You will see d list of documents needed for visa. Pls note, Brazil embassy does verify bank statement. I also had my baby there last year. It was an amazing experience in terms of document. I have my PR and my baby is a citizen. Though, we r back to Nigeria.

Thanks for the info so far, USA and Canada just refused after having 2 births in USA..

Applied for Visa in December and got denied yesterday.I stated childbirth on my application

Their reason for denial was based on Travel history.I have travelled to US,Uk, Dubai and Gambia so i dont understand what they mean by travel history.

The second reason was due to Family ties both in Nigeria and Canada. I applied alone, i have a husband and a two year old daughter and i stated they would be staying back in Nigeria while i come give birth in Canada, what other family tie do i need.

As for tie in Canada my friend who is a citizen gave me the letter of invitation other than her i do not know another person in canada. Why do i need a family tie in Canada? Could there be an issue with the person who gave me the letter of introduction cause am confused?

I have decided to have my baby jejely here as i almost 34weeks gone and its too late to re apply.

But i just want to know where exactly i went wrong in the application so that when i reapply i can be able to address these issues.

Yes oo, I will have my baby and face whatever sanction so far nobi prison

I earlier used hotel reservation, she is advising I get a letter of visitation instead. Can it increase ones chances.

please maintain child birth and apply alone. I always think that couples should not apply together for now.

Send the same docs as bedore but write an explanation letter and attach to them.

An immigration consultant recently said that they r denying alot of ppl going via online route cuz its any officer in any country that can deal with the applocation.

He suggest paper cuz officera in Naija understand is better nd situatoon of things there. So.moving forward for now, if one has plenty time, do paper .

I think the issue is childbirth. Like you, if I had known, would have just applied as tourism only and leave childbirth out of it. Then deal with it later at the poe. Now that one has applied for childbirth, you can't reapply and state tourism alone. So the deed is done. Your applications seems good. The money there is more than enough. I think you can reapply and address those reasons for refusal.
