well to me, I think the best thing is to avoid these updates all together, Im saying this because when I bought my hot 2 last year, it was working perfectly for up to a period of seven months until I stated downloading updates, I think those updates present more problems than they solve. After the updates, I started having problems with battery, installation of games, camera and so on. I started downloading other updates Month after month, and when a problem is solved say camera, another would present itself. One thing I noticed is no matter the no of updates, the phone will never be as 100 as it was. My opinion though, cos those updates were from google itself not Infinix and they still presented problems, even those using laptops and all complain when they updated from windows 8 to 10 and so on. So what I noticed is that these guys are never 100℅ in their updates. Had to sell the phone later. Now I'm using hot 4 and I'm never going to do any updates cos I think I learnt the hard way. I have no issues with the phone, and everything works perfectly from battery to camera and all

Maybe you're right, but I will update. Lol. Hot 2 was a different kind of phone. I'm doing the new update tonight.

get the hot 4 lite. Or if U can get a hot note. The difference between these two Infinix phones is that hot note is older and hot 4lite is newer. also, hot 4lite got finger print sensor (though useless to me) and has a newer android version but 1g ram. sells for 36-37k. The hot note is what am using and I prefer it over the hot 4 coz of it's flash charge ability. within 1hr, my phone could move from nearly 0% to over 90%. But i think the hot 4 will take abt 4hrs. It also has the option of 2gb ram. it shld b abt 31-33k

Hot 4 lite doesn't have finger prints sensor.

That's not what I mean. I mean 3g. Previously, only sim 1 had 3g. Sim 2 had only edge, or E. Now I can comfortably switch Sim 2 to 3g directly.

Previously, to use 3g on sim 2 you have to take it out and put it in sim 1. Not anymore, after the new update.

I may be wrong tho. Two differences are the removal of that app that lets you install 2 Whatsapp, Facebook, etc. Also, the issue of phone going into silent by itself seems to have been solved.

Get an Amazon charger. Charges faster than the follow come charger sef, I use the follow come for my beast power bank. The Amazon charger costs between 2-3k, depending.

I understood you the first time. Hot4 isn't built that way. To access it like that, you need to root and then unlock the mtp interface. I haven't had that kind of time, so I access my hard drive via storage, then click on the disk I want.

Get a stronger charger. I have an Amazon charger with 2.5A. It adds 1% every 2 minutes, even with data on and pressing the phone.
