Even when playing games it doesn't even get warm.

have you had any issues with play store? I can't seem to use it together with GStore . dunno if it's because I used Wi-Fi before using mobile data when I started using the phone. and most of the apps connected to play store doesn't work because of this.

I use both comfortably. Maybe your network is closed. Go to System manager, traffic monitor, open the second option and activate the one that is off.

As long as my phone is on, my data (always on 3G only) is always on. It persforms a bit better than my previous phone despite both of them being 4000mAh. Gionee don't lie about their spec, what is advertised is what you get. I am yet to see a phone with same specs for a lesser price. Do you use the remote control function on your phone?

I've been playing pranks with the remote. I was watching Nigeria's game vs Argentina in a pub and when they scored the second goal I off the tv with my phone. ��

I use it on both my ac, home theatre, tv,.

The only problem I have with the phone is how it depletes from 10% sha. I'm hoping with time it'd completely calibrate and be perfect.

Mine does same too. From 10%. Apart from this, it's safe to say that the hotness days are well and truly over. I'm enjoying the battery now.

I'm testing the battery. I won't charge till it dies completely.

I met mine @75% and charged full before use. the phone was switched off during the initial charging.

Not really necessary with these recent batteries sha.
Does your own heat up? Mine does so sometimes, tho not today sha

I deleted two apps and now my battery is back to 1% every 7 minutes. Funny shii. I guess they were rogue apps, tho I'm surprised because I had them in my hot 5 and they didn't do anything bad.

and does your battery last a whole day with data on or off? mine lasts a day with minimal activity

It was on 99% when I bought it. I tried charging it but after an hour it was still on 99% so I kuku removed it. The next day I charged it and it hit 99% again. it took about an hour to enter 100%.

I believe the battery is still being calibrated and with time it will adjust.

Nawa for Gionee o. No consistency at all. My m5 battery was more straightforward than this.

Also, I just observed that from 39%, the phone got warmer and the battery drop increased sharply. From 1% every 7 minutes to 1% every 4 minutes. Same with yours?

The default gionee interface to me is ugly. I downloaded the infinix launcher from playstore use the APPLE theme. I also downloaded one font like that from gionee theme park. I wished the phone comes with inadvertent mode like the infinix hot 4 I used whereby as long as the phone is in your pocket, if messages or notification enters your phone, it won't leave the lockscreen mode but this phone sometimes presses against my lap when in my jeans pocket and it just operates itself.
The pros far outweighs the cons sha.

Yeah it's no longer hot. Since morning till now. Superb battery right now. As for the interface, I use Nova launcher on mine (pics below). As for notifications, mine is under lock and I set the notifications under settings so I don't currently have that problem you have. You should check your settings

MT6737T processor clocked at 1.5ghz quad core isn't bad at all. Infinix hot 5 uses mt6580 1.3ghz quad core and doesn't drop in the same way.

Hi. I recently got a gionee x1s, yesterday precisely. I noticed the battery goes down like a 2000mah device, so I've been checking around and the screenshot below are my findings.

Please how do I counter this issue? Mobile network and screen have finished me, even tho my brightness is on the lowest...

Suggestions please o, gionee fans.

Usage is relative to individuals. I make calls, use email, browse alot. I seldom use whatsapp. For all these, it doesn't get hot at all. Gionee phones hardly gets hot with average usage even the relatively cheaper ones. Gionee is a brand I will confidently recommend to anyone. No fear. You can go to jumia or the internet to check users' reviews.

Mine gets hot. I use the global version too and just got it yesterday. That's my major issue with it,as hotness makes it lose battery faster. I even put it on power saver mode. Or is there a setting I'm not doing?

I'm assuming you use your transparent case on yours, right?

I know gionee won't release updates to take care of these issues. Lol.

It supports OTG. It charges full from 0-100% In about 2 and half hours. I don't know about games cos I don't play games. It has LED notification light. Lastly about the camera, what would you expect from 13mp back camera and 16mp front camera. I seem to like the back camera more.

Does it get hot during usage?
