An act worthy of commendation as its fashion to cushion the harshness of the unprecedented flood. |

ilugunboy: He was looking like a blind manHim looking like a blind man but could read though from a T'Prompter, and providing ways to solving the present flood situation; and you been a blind man who could not feel the essence of Mr. President's speech, now, who is better? |

Nonnyz: TelePrompter! Some people mumu oo.. Is it now a matter of reading from a T'Prompter? Now I see how stupendous some people really are! So, the essence of Mr. President's speech is no longer of importance but his reading from a T'Prompter... This post in its entirety, lacks credibility, indeed a worthless and senseless argument. |

floriana:What! Am so disappointed at ur submission, indeed a myopic view. So, you advocate for the method of convening a message rather than the message itself. Now I understand the essence of your disgustful submission. |

Islam for Muslims / Re: 3 Nigerian Pilgrims Die In Saudi Arabia by Nonnyz: 10:56am On Oct 08, 2012 |
May the souls of the dead, rest in peace! Coming to my submission, one died on the plane enroute the Holy land while the others died in Mecca; they died as a result of ill health (they said). frankly, the act of deceit has indeed eaten deep into our system, even on a journey of a holy cleansing, we lie still. Such death could have been averted if only the proper measures to chcking and ascertaining the true health status of the pilgrims before convening them to Mecca was carried out. The Hajj commences by mid October or there about and three already dead... |

Politics / Re: Senate To Bar Public Official's Children From Schooling Abroad by Nonnyz: 4:50pm On Oct 06, 2012 |
emalekuo: Because you no get money to go study abroad?? We talking about this because our educational system is dying and the people that are suppose to revive it don't care because their kids school outside. The least we can do is bar them from sending their kids out. You can't stop an ordinary man that sweats for his cash to be restricted too. If your dream is for your child to go to harvard work hard and send him to harvard not steal money in the name of politics and send him to harvard. Medical treatment is next.I appreciate the fact that you know that our educational system is dying. Obviously, one of the reason for such degrading is the exodus of our youths seeking thick papers Abroad with or without the consent of their parents/guardians. A plight our leaders have come to terms with and are willing to alleviate or curb to the minimum; which leave a question of, how do we go about this? This my brother, is one step taken to achieving a Harvard here in Nigeria. To do this, like I said, the law must cut across all and sundries... |

The law to prohibit Public Official's children from studying abroad at whatever level is indeed a welcome one. Then, what happens to the children of Non-Public Officials? Will they be an exception to this law? Will the curbing of this abnormality cause for the upgrading of our Institutions (Federal and State owned)? Or will more exorbitant privately owned Institutions evolve, to cushion the bar to going abroad for papers? I strongly buy the idea to placing a bar to studying abroad but it should not be directed to Public Officials only, it should cut accros all and sundries. |

Sports / Re: Mikel, Moses & Utaka Nominated For CAF Awards by Nonnyz: 10:53am On Oct 06, 2012 |
A good thing Nigerian players re been nominated for CAF Award... Been a while we saw that. As a Nigerian and a Chelsea FC fan, sentimentally, will preach and wish the award for African player of the year be conferred on JMO for his contributory effort to Chelsea's emerging victory in both the Champion's league and the FA Cup. Though a tall wish as CAF holds the final say, maybe Drogba...hmmm! |
Politics / Re: Dino Melaye's Facebook Post *shocking* by Nonnyz: 12:28pm On Oct 04, 2012 |
Having more fleet of personal/commercial jets, should be seen as both economical and commercial development (inshort, a welcome development) in the aviation sector rather than been shocking...! |
