Pls anybody with any news on the elections in Anambra State, specifically in Anambra Central Senatorial distric and the federal constituency covering the state capital Awka. Thanks |
Hey @ Motunmotun, same problem here, tried calling Uche Mba's number but was only allowed to leave a message. Also sent him an e-mail yesterday but no response. Anyone with any idea of the time, pls help! Cheers. |
Dont usually post especially not on politics cos the arguments are often too stressfull ![]() However a few points: First the question about whether the guy claiming to know GEJ's son studying in Spain pays the fees - sorry but this question is not relevant here. So its only if you're paying someone's fees that you know the person is there? sorry that does not follow. By that logic you must be paying the fees of all your classmates to acknowledge they are there. Next - some politicians (albeit a few) have their kids studying in Nigeria, even at university level. Peter Odili's daughter was my classmate while her dad was governor and her elder sister also graduated from my uni. There are a few such politicians here and there. GEJ seems to be the best of a bad bunch who have a realistic chance but mainly because we already know of the track record of peeps like IBB and Atiku, and not necessarily because GEJ is necessarily a great or visionary leader. |
Honestly, used to be a fan of this woman, but evr since she became minister of info, she's been acting a right tool, na dat one be our problem now? Abi na the Naija wey we dey talk dey make NAIJA bad? The mumu should find better ways to earn her salary abeg. KMT |
Well done Miss Nwaokolo, at least some good news out of 9ja for a change. |
I dont think the 6-3-3-4 system is the problem with education in Nigeria. It probably has more to do with a long-running culture of enthroning mediocrity and 'helping' one's kinsmen and friends with admission into secondary schools and universities. |
If Ibo's want to be proud of him then let them be. No need to get upset. Yes he is Nigerian too but he is as Ibo as he is is Nigerian. No need to vex. The responses in this thread shows the tension that exists between Nigerian ethnic groups. Post of the thread. It seems the peeps screaming tribalism at the thread are those who've got the tribalism issues. IMO its perfectly ok to point out his particular ethnicity. Its a thing of pride. |
Nothing much to say on the thread except that family stuff should be kept private simples My other issue is with those who try to put a tribal perspective on everything. Such family problems are not unique to the igbo you know. |
