Hahahahahhahahahahahahhaha, Japhet, this una dance no last o, not even two years? big shame. I remember when you and your cohort were jumping all over the place chanting "sai baba", "change", et al in 2015. Anyone who picked Jonathan over the inept cattle herder was tagged supporter of corruption, wailer or beneficiary of our national treasure. Yet some of us had seen that this man and his likely picks had absolutely nothing to offer as you rabid supporters so vehemently tried to convince, it still beats me how any true student of history could have lent even a voice of support to the president. Someone who could achieve nothing as head of state in his 40s (supposedly his physical and intellectual peak), in a military regime where his word was law (presumably), i wonder how anyone could think he could deliver in his 70s (when depreciating returns has set in) and in a democratic regime with all its bags and baggage. I mean the dude could not even keep himself in power, someone that his junior officers just showed a gun and threw him out of office (this part is tongue in cheek by the way; I do not really think perpetuating oneself in office is a worthy achievement). The point is that Buhari was the worse of two not-great choices we had in 2015 but I can honestly say that while not being a GEJ fan (i didn't even vote him in 2011), if given the same choice a hundred times over I would pick GEJ everytime over the cattle herder. I'm not disappointed in Buhari's government because I never expected anything from him, I mean the so-called honest former leader who was willing to compromise his so-called honesty to get in bed with questionable characters like Tinubu and Amaechi just to get power? Someone who in a cheap attempt at getting sympathy votes, had cried on national tv in 2011 saying that would be his last go at the presidency but who made a u-turn at the very next electoral opportunity; y'all thought he could be trusted?? Keep enjoying the change you voted for, you were warned. |
Outside Nigeria its very possible. My little cousin just got his PhD from the university of Leeds, graduation ceremony is next week and he just turned 26 at the beginning of this month. In short with a stable system, required funds and dedication, it can be done. He hasn't served yet sha... |
Still a backhanded attempt to make excuses for this president's sheer incompetence. Which one be hijacked again? Bottom line is the buck stops on Buhari's table and he must take the blame and the credit like a big boy. Newsflash, the government is failing /has failed on virtually all fronts and its the head of the administration's fault, not some faceless, nameless "hijackers". |
MadCow1:Good question bro, who was Head of state on 26/09/1983 when the figures above applied? Your oga was only head of state for the final few hours of 1983, be careful dishing out advice eh? |
Wow! Our very own Eugene Allen, sort of... Rip to the dead. |
Oga minister of darkness this one na 'akuko uwa' - you guys didn't know that Nigerians used to destroy power infrastructure when GEJ was president abi? When y'all were shouting that u only need 6 months to fix power in Nigeria. As God would have it, you the chief noisemaker in that regard, have been saddled with the chief shame for your government's colossal failure in the power sector. No more excuses abeg, give us the results you promised. ![]() |
DesChyko:Anyone who knows abang knows the clown is well capable of saying something like this, smh always descending into the arena. On the statement itself, its a dumb one because to my knowledge Metuh was never in government but was a party man, so fail to see how far he could have directly influenced building of hospitals, et al by government. On topic, this govt is not really a disappointment, it shouldn't be to anyone who has even a rudimentary knowledge of Nigeria's political history, it was to be expected. The same things that made Buhari unelectable the first 3 times, are still present today; the decision to put him there despite the warning signs has already been made, Nigerians just have to suck it up and see where we land. |
The question to ask Mr. Buhari, is if you and your bloodthirsty supporters could be so magnanimous if roles were reversed? I think not, the innocents murdered by rampaging thugs acting in your name would never be forgotten by those of true discerning mind. Only gracious when you've won. Smh. |
banki:http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-02-19/truworths-exits-nigeria-due-to-tough-regulation-rising-costs. Was Buhari not president in January 2016? |
babyfaceafrica:The Irony in the bolded is mind-boggling, fair point you make though... |

@op I've used a windows phone (Nokia Lumia 1020) and it was not a bad experience at all. Going by that I would definitely recommend it especially if you use Microsoft office suite a lot. Not as many apps as android but a good number and all the major one too. Good luck! |
lielbree:Forgive my analogy jare, no be small daft lol. |
LMAO, abeg make person help me wake OP up from dream. Joseph the dreamer. |
Why are all these supporters of the dullard frothing at the mouth? Is there any big deal in the Supreme court doing its job even as Buhari is president? How many of you applauded Jonathan and the PDP when opposition patries were winning governorship seats via the courts? Too bad for APC and the pussy cat of Ubima |
Oh boy Funky don hammer o, Congrats ladies! |
Good day Sir, Please could you help me with The Litigators and The Racketeer, both by John Grisham. Email is camroncontrol@yahoo.com. Thanks so very much. |
Hahahaha Bros Dele dey find govt job seriously o. On topic, is anyone seriously surprised that the dullard lacks the capacity to govern this country? His previous record shouted for itself but as usual, Nigerans voted for the wrong reasons and again elected the wrong man (just like in 2011) Itsfar easier to be an armchair social critic than to perform in the hot seat and now the president is feeling the heat. Truth is Buhari was never the answer and slowly and surely his limitations are being exposed. Next election vote on the issues, be more discerning in who you give your vote to at ALL elections and hopefully we might get it right. For now we just have to live with our current president and make the best of the situation. |
oh boy, na im be say Apapa traffic go be die until after 18th december o ![]() |
Some part of this story is not adding up, if this interview was conducted this year it means she married Fela when she was like 12 years old! |

Hello Peeps, I came across a site called ady.ng which is an olx-type site where different sellers advertise their goods. Just wanted to ask if anyone has bought anything off this site and whether they had any complaints? Thanks in advance! |
Good Day All, thanks for this platform, I would like some advice on what steps my wife can take if she has been denied a TRV solely on the ground of inadequate travel history? They said that they are not convinced she will return to Nigeria at the time she said she would and the only factor on which she was denied was travel history (she has only ever been to Ghana once, last year) - is there anything we can do? There was no issue as regarding funding. Replies will be most welcome, thanks in advance. |
hayqinsbFX:Oh well... thanks anyway. Any ideas anyone? please |
hayqinsbFX:Oh I'm sorry maybe I did not explain properly, the application was just for a vacation visit and not for academic purposes, she applied on June 3rd, would I possibly need to re-apply? |
hayqinsbFX:Good morning, that's what the letter said, the only box checked against her was the one for travel history. She's currently a housewife but there was no issue regarding her sponsorship for the trip as I will be covering that and i had no intention to travel with her. she applied in early June this year and we just received her passport back this morning. |
