Also forgot to add, a bit quiet n inttroverted with people I'm not close to, so people often tend to assume I'm a snob even tho that's way off the mark. Being an only child also fires up ur imagination and creativity as u learn to make do without playmates lol. Had the normal awkwardness around d opposite sex as well, right up until uni when I became a proper bad ass!

Grew up in a fairly comfortable home and raised with the right balance I think, not over pampered but always made to know u are special (I came along after 11 yrs of marriage). I grew up quite sheltered dunno if dats an advantage or a disadvantage but I grew up a really happy person, not cynical at all until maybe a bit later in my life lol. Downsides like a couple of posters have mentioned already are d lonliness and d pressure to get married early and start having ur own kids smh. All in all, being an only child is all I've ever known and balancing it all out, I won't say I'm sad or regret it, I suppose it would have been nice to have a kid bro or sis sha, but dats life. Besides, y'all aint heard dat statistically, only-children are the happiest people on earth?

A bad boy who was left with half a head following a dramatic accident has spoken out for the first time - blaming his astonishing appearance on a drink and drugs binge.

Carlos 'Halfy' Rodriguez, who also goes by the name Sosa, lost a large portion of his brain and skull in a crash after flying through his car's windscreen and landing head-first on the road.

In a new video he has used his appearance and story to warn others not to drink and take drugs.

Doctors were forced to cut away large amounts of flesh and bone to help him survive and he has since been able to continue his life in Miami, Florida.
