There are a lot of billionaires in Nigeria that have poor taste. Very clueless.. they don't know how to leverage on their wealth to get waivers as regards international travel.

I dont think a billionaire will leave Nigeria.. leave for where? To do what?

I heard artisans /mechanics, rewire techs are quite pricey overthere. So, as a player in that industry , you need to charge premium too, so that you can get some profit.

See ,temu is a real coded scam ,even if you read reviews and description you can still fall for thier scam,I bought shoe only to discover it's Styrofoam, they didn't include that in the description,beware of temu, and always check price that is realistic,they sold 45k bicycle to a friend, imagine they didn't include it in description as toy ooooo or miniature or model.just mountain bicycles

That's Indrive for you.The shop/merchandise owner won't take responsibility. There are better and more reliable courier services. But they will be looking for cheap offers to send expensive items.

I saw the notice about Kaduna Polytechnic and prepared myself fully. I borrowed ₦5,000 just for transport and photocopying, since they said we must bring 10 photocopies of all credentials. I printed my CV, wrote an application letter, and made 10 copies each of my NYSC certificate, statement of result, and other documents.

This was my first application after NYSC, so I gave it my all.

When I got to the Central Administrative Block, to my shock, they simply told me it was closed.

Just yesterday, there was no notice of any deadline. Today, I’m left stranded — transport wasted, photocopies wasted, money wasted.

Right now, I honestly feel depressed. I struggled to put this money together, only for everything to go down the drain without even getting the chance to submit.

Sometimes it feels like the system doesn’t care how much we struggle as young people trying to build our future.

Your moniker implies you are from the southwest extraction. Can you speak the local language? With or without. You can get a job for yourself..
I will advise you to shun anything government for now.. it's mostly by connections. Zero merit.

That's the only Nigerian city cited in that report. It means it is quite significant to the international community, that should tell you something. Yes, there are areas where improvements are needed.

But ask yourself, where are the other Nigerian states and their governors , they can't be found on the international map...
If other states and governors were pushing their weights, Lagos won't have this population issue with its attendant challenges.

I have always maintained it. If there's going to be any semblance of an advanced economy in Nigeria. Lagos is going to be the first state to achieve it. The reason being that it strives to employ brilliant people to head it's various agencies.

Lol...sorry, this usually happens to me on Uber app, it has never happened to me on Indrive. Majority of my indrive riders are always ontime and respect time. Na Uber riders dey always feel like say you be their driver. Do you know yesterday, I got one ride from Mangoro to Isaac John in Ikeja. I was at akowonjo. I called this girl to ask if she wants me to come, cos the pickup time was 20 minutes. She said I should come. I blow reach her estate for mangoro. As I was about to let her know I was 2 minutes away, she cancelled the ride. Chai. I wan cry. This cancellation thing always happens to me on Uber, never on InDrive.

You shouldn't go more than 2km or 10 mins to pick a rider .
Max 3km. If you are going to exceed that. It must be a very juicy trip , like a trip that can give you @ least 40% of your daily target earnings.

Uber will wear you and your car out with out of range trips. Be careful with that app.

Though coming to lock up houses might be overboard. But a lot of Nigerians are very difficult when it comes to community projects.
They don't like paying for security and developmental fees.

For instance, in Lagos, I'm suprised when they have to coerce adults with cars to pay for their street security.
A single breach could cause burglers to go away with dozens of brainboxes and other car items worth millions. But if there's cooperation, such incidents can be averted.
