If there’s no visible leakage and all the experiments are not working.Best is to keep topping. If the exhaust is already showing excess carbon burn. We all know the direction it will end. After servicing, I top mine with a ltr before next service, but chairman seems to be taking 2 now. I don’t need soothsayer to tell me anything again.
Best advice

Boss say no more, you can convince me. Dispatch riders are aliens. They have plot of lands beside stanbic bank headquarter with zero worries.

Highest I can do is when I see anybody selling for bricklayers. I park car and join the party. Rice 300, yam 200, mix Ponmo and meat, bread and use 7up to wash it down. I can drive for 2 days uninterrupted.
Pope, i know you are joking , it's not everyday .. eating out is expensive no doubt. But I'm very careful , cos food sellers in a bid to sell cheap stuff, will go n buy the dregs of pepper ingredients ..
I'd rather spend on food than buy drugs.

I stopped taking carbonated drinks. I feel more energetic.

1 litre is about 3k+ now, I think 3700 or thereabout,, that's expensive spending that twice in a month after buying 16k+ 5litre oil...
You might be mulling the idea of opening your Engine. grin. Don't try it.
A corrolla engine hovers around 800k+.

If an extra 8k monthly. on oil that's like 96k yearly. Compared to looking for a new tokunbo engine.

96k versus 800k. cool

The better choice is obvious to everyone.

Oga pope, that's for one meal. It's one small restaurant off abgaoku Street, opebi. . That's cheap o.
Try "ile iyan " for Isaac John. ...

The naira has lost value. I bought meat pie - 600
Doughnuts- 350.. 1k already gone. huh... it's the naira oh.

I know you're joking, i don't think he means 2k food in a whole day, just guess he's saying a square meal in a day.

I roughly manage 7k to eat in a day and this is eating on a budget...
So if you eat 7k in a day. What's 25k oil choppings
in a month for the car?.

What is expensive about that? Let me ask you a question. How much is everything if you calculate it.?
16k,+ 8k..

Let's say 25k.. in a month . You call that expensive.?

That's like 850 naira daily debit timer on Opay account.
Very negligible expense, if you'd ask me.
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird: 2:58pm On Jul 02, 2024
I use hardex . Its 30k. n I drain my oil every month.
Some folks will say it's full synthetic. I tell them, that's Bullshit. Once you do 2500-3000km on the car, you should drain the oil. If you are into ehailing full-time, in a month, you will clock in 2500-3000km @ the minimum

The car is bringing in money, so it needs to be taken care of too.

Only new engines can be serviced @ 5000km intervals.

I would have stick to topping up the oil but then, I can't be buying 1 litre of oil every 2 weeks, that expense is too expensive.
Using a 2006 corrolla before. It displayed same symptoms. Shortening of oil . 2weeks for 1 litre. But I don't mind.
If I can eat 2k in a day. Why can't the car eat extra 4k in 2 weeks.
I have been on that module for over 2 years. Car is as silent as ever.

Check for the seal @ the pulley and the seal between the gear and the engine body.
Especially the middle one.

How is that expensive? How much is oil?

1 litre every two weeks is very ok for an engine that has paid itself

Bolt is better now. Just know when to use the app

Had a terrible experience today.
Picked this idiot guy from university road to "Lord Jesus estate around chevron....11200. My first trip this morning, on indrive.
When I got to the gate of his street, the flood was so much(picture attached) his house was just 2 houses away from the beginning of the gate. Pleaded with him that I can't enter cos the flood is kinda deep and my car is low. He insisted I must enter. The guys at the gate told me not to try to enter. They said all the cars parked outside the gate belongs to occupants of the estate. They park outside and use rain boot to enter.
There was a guy giving out rain boots for 1k. This idiot said if he will give the guy the 1k for the boot, then he would deduct it from the 11200. I refused and told him he would give me my complete money.

We dragged it for almost 20 mins. He started calling his people. So I felt threatened. I decided to call the police via the app. Immediately he had me reporting to the police, his friend abi brother that drove out from the estate with a high jeep, started saying; "the person you dey call police for, him papa na oga nla of police.....na you dem go lock for cell"

After much dragging, the guys at the gate started telling him to pay me my complete money and forget.....that he's bigger than this.
He eventually transferred my complete money, after wasting my time for 30 mins +
You think the guy has money ? He's just boastful.
I have ditched Indrive oh. Worked with Bolt this week.

Follow ksmart advice.
Look for a civic 04/05.

Don't splurge all d 4m on a car. Budget 2.4 n another 500k to overhaul it.

If you understand the work . In 14 months you should be able to recoup initial investment.

The camry doesn't consume much fuel though
If she added to the total sum, maybe you might have a semblance of profit.
Inter state needs special calculations. If not ,you will just accrue mileage on the car for nothing.

Things like this mostly happens when you have stingy parents. Some parents prefer to impress outsiders with their money than to give their children.
Nobody owes you shit. The problem is the parents did not bring up the child properly. End of story.

A child that can scam his own bloodline will do worse things to people unrelated to him. Lack of proper upbringing by the parents.

Thank you. My daily income expectation is 10k
That's quite easy to do on Bolt.
It's a good start to learn the ropes. I believe you have other income sources too. I'm sure after a month on Bolt&Uber, you will review this.

Let me give you a key on Bolt
DON'T CHASE BONUS. QUALITY TRIPS OVER QUANTITY .

You can throw in an extra 4k daily ( 1st /2ndtrip earnings is for the car) for emergency car repair & maintenance. Set up a daily debit ,opay, palm pay & any mobile wallet of your
choice.
So you have 80k monthly strictly for the car.

Lagos,
Lekki
I am not really conversant but I just google map.
I will stick to bolt and Uber next week.
Next week ke? Ditch Indrive fast.

You live in a hot zone. Start with Bolt today. Drive with surge. Pick only trips with 3k and above. No penalty for declining trips.

2km. 10 mins pick up Max. ( you will see it displayed on the order screen)

Start today... since you are new. Stick only to lekki, v.i, ikoyi, chevron, orchid n co.

DON'T GO TO LAGOS ISLAND. ( eko, Uba marina, balogun,
idumota, marina, sura, Hawley,) and don't come to the mainland yet.

What's your daily income expectation?

Stick with Bolt n Uber.

Any sensible employee should start execution of an exit plan fast. No more fat paychecks. They will substantially cut salaries. That's their modus operandi. Indians.. Tolaram, well loaded with cash, they don't joke with their investments.

Most of the biscuits you buy for children are made in Oyo state.
Any investor coming into Nigeria considers the SW first before any other place. Think, there's a reason for that.
