i ones loved the lord, trust in is word, evangelise, pray, fast, live a holy live, do his will and serve him.

it was not my will to backslide, but i lose it when i was faced with a challenge that has to do with what i have maid up my mind i'm never gonna do again.

i was thinking of committing suicide when this matter become worse, but d only thing that kept me back was that. My mum is a widow, and my elder brother is dead. My sis has given birth to 2 different kids @ d age of 25 for two different men.

I know a testimony of a single mother who is so devoted to God, but at a point she lost her job and had no way of supporting her 2 kids. With a heavy and broken heart she served God without swaying to the left or right. For so many months she had almost nothing to live on. Till a day when she got a job that pays much more higher than than the previous one and now receives her salary in a foreign currency.

People think i'm insensitive to their plight because i don't pay condolences. The wife of the caretaker of our self-contain is in a critical condition at the hospital. People have gone to see her except me. At the office where i earn a paltry sum, a colleague lost the father. I didn't show up as well. My fellow workers think i'm heartless. One said: "if you are in gaiety or mourning, don't expect us to come."

unknowingly to them, i might even be the one giving up the ghost soon. Where i live [slum], we're all suffering either from hunger, malnutrition or disease. So sad news does not move some of us again. It's our fate, i guess

My brother, I know things can seem to be unbearable for a while but it only makes the glory sweeter. I am also going through some difficult situations but one thing is sure- Jesus Christ is forever Faithful. So don't give up my brother. Just visit the hospital for check up to be sure about the ailment and then you can take it from there.

I'm a 22 years old boy who's been constantly torn apart from within, I have always been seen as the black sheep in the family, I mean everything I do comes back to haunt me. I finished secondary school 2013, took Jamb but didn't get through, then 2015 came and got a pre-degree form for Adekunle ajasin University located in Ondo. I scaled through the exams, got admitted but I need was to pass Jamb for the same year. I didn't make the cut off.
  I was so ashamed of myself but I believed I still had time, so I came up with a lie, what I was going to do was pretend I actually got admitted to the school, then with the money given to me, I would get another Jamb, pass it and be a student...
  Unluckily for me, I got found out by my cousin in school who told my family, now they are requesting for my matric number and password, which I don't have. I'm too deep in the lie to say the truth because I know I'm most likely going to be disowned (my dad has made that clear). Now I'm thinking about cutting ties, staying in school and try to come up with some money so I can really be in school and study.. only then can I tell them what happened.. I don't know, I'm pretty confused and would be grateful to any advice, I'm lost but I'm hoping to find my way..

I understand what you're going through bro, but the advice I have is this, tell the truth. Go and explain everything to your mother first, then she will soften your dad's heart. Yes it will be tough, yes it will be heartbreaking but it is necessary. Living a lie becomes unbearable in the long run.
As for admission, place Jesus first and study as hard as you can. There are diamonds buried within you. Just believe!

Do you recall the Apostles response to this controversy? It's in Acts 15... the difference between Judaism and Christianity was clearly spelt out there

Those people just wanted to create confusion in the Church. Moses taught a circumcision made with hands, Jesus taught a Circumcision of the heart, not made with hands.

My guy, as I said before, Jesus has talked about everything concerning the new covenant and he did speak on tithes.

God does not delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, He does not need your money. He is in heaven, we are on earth. If we give or not, how will it affect him? But the Bible says "Honor God with your wealth and with the first fruit of your substance". Tithes are biblical, you can choose not to pay it but if you mislead people, you are bringing judgement upon yourself.
