Choi *FTC Week for Nosypat! ![]() |
Nice *ermm...in the spirit of tradition So I made FTC today? #finally A 5 year stint on NL comes to a climax lol. So I dedicate this to y'all out there yet to hit this spot for the first time. I'd hate to bore you with the details but know that consistency pays, and so does a fast browsing Internet plan, a full battery and a case of going to bed late. Yours Sincerely, Nosypat. |
Nice |
Demmzy15:Stupid comment What do you mean go extinct? Such unguarded utterances are the same that lead to the killing of innocent people the world over by Muslims. How one can use terms like "religion of peace" and 'jihad" in reference to the same religions baffles me. Muslims have a lot to prove in the defence of their religion as one of peace, against the bloody backdrop of the atrocities committed in the name of Allah. |
From the comments I've read so far, I have come to the conclusion that Nigerians are indeed the problem with Nigeria. We don't know when to speak, and when we do, what to say, and we don't know how to listen. Most of us lack the acumen to judge the tide of the time and climb the crest of a given opportunity to achieve a goal that has been hitherto elusive. The question is, moral justification or not, has Obasanjo said an untruth? Has he lied against that arm of the government? Is Obasanjo the immediate problem of Nigeria now or current wasteful arms of government? If Obasanjo is shouted down, does it solve the problem he has highlighted? Do we not see how some of us simply lack an acuity of political sense? So we have been screaming at the National Assembly over the same issue, the difference being that over there our screams are like distant echoes and we find someone who individually has a voice loud enough to not just ring into the halls of the Assembly but cause reverberation and all we do is talk down the individual with the most primitive and stupid reasons? I bow oh. |
I am quietly noting how the majority view here is that they deserved the beating they got, with some even saying they deserved more and another adding they should have been "Aluud". No problem. The problem is that hypocrisy begins to pour out of these same people when Dasuki is held in prison despite his bail reprieve and Olisa Metuh is cuffed to court and these fellows (or some) scream blue murder and call for 'due process' and 'obedience of our laws". In all my days of legal studies and practice, I haven't come across a law that permits the beating of anyone, not even after a court convicts such a person. If the rich, political class exhibit arrogant impunity in their actions, it is because the very poor or not-so-fortunate individuals in the society who are funny enough victims of their excesses would rush to their defence, unsolicited. While not making a case for the continued detention of Dasuki, I would caution, where conscience has defeated common rationality, that all such fellows keep quiet on this issues and wear themselves out in merited shame. |
I'd have laughed oh... But the pics portray such a stark difference between the fortunate and the unfortunate... |

Stupid editors. Was it Buhari who dragged them into Dasukigate? Isn't it their own member, Nduka Obahiegena (or so) of ThisDay who made the statements implicating them? Mctew. Guilty minds. |
ShowYourCertificate:It is far better to admit one's mistaken position and do the right thing in a given situation, that attempt to maintain a stoic stand in the name of 'keeping to one's word' and do the wrong thing thence. |
Na guilty mind dey worry am....taah. gaan investigate |
