Taal17: They shared with you their experiences which are valid and true. Learn from it.
There many people here, came into the UK at different times to different cities and with different levels of supports both from Nigeria and in the UK.
Is it as difficult as those ppl told you? YES . It's the truth do not ignore. Could it be easier for you ? YES and NO.
You need to sit down and think about time you want to migrate the cost to you personally to migrate the living costs in the UK at the time you want to migrate and your own personal reasons for migrating.
If you are looking to others to tell you what to do then you are avoiding being responsible for your actions. Thank you for the insight I appreciate |

He was born poor, he will not follow his forefathers route. He is educated. He must make amends legally. It's not a crime having a child at 50 provided the child has good foundation that most poor kids lack. You're looking for people to recruit into poverty Thank you sir |

davidadenrele: Hello,
This is my honest advise for you aside been a lawyer one of the best selling profession is quantity surveyors with the 4 million in your account its best you register your self a company and link up with properties household companies and agents personnel that could link you up for business, there's lot prospect being a Quantity Surveyor don't Japa look at the bright side of life what you need is connection find a way to register yourself in a social club like Lion's Club, Ikoyi Club, Polo club joined this club and make sure you an active member also make sure you have a complimentary card with you that will show your profession just one or two sales of property or lands worth billions my brother God don answer your call the rest is referral by clients my brother be hopeful there's opportunity for you here stay don't run.
As far your profession is concern going abroad now not will help you look around there are lot opportunities. Properties business is a Big Business just be hopeful and be honest you always see client remember when God pick your calls.
All the best Thing is I never had the chance to practice. Immediately I graduated i looked for jobs at related fields. SO in order not to just dey like dat, I started looking for other means of hustling... Bolt, Poultry, and some other small small things... So as Tinubu don scatter e-hailing for us. No profit at all with he current fuel prize. there's no point again... so i wanna sell my car add small thing and look elsewhere. |

Jman06: One serious problem we have in this country is the issue of AGE DISCRIMINATION. Despite being a backward nation in dire need of increased productivity cum development, we still discriminate against people of certain age and hinder them from actively working and participating in nation building.
Imagine someone who's just 40 years asking this kind of question, clearly believing that at 40 he has grown too old to travel out. I don't blame op though, it is the kind of mentality people have here.
Whereas the whiteman would open up his labor market for different age groups (except of course, the very vold and frail), the black nations would come up with some unfounded theories to stop or discourage people from working and aspiring to achieve greater heights on the grounds of age. Tell me why we won't continue to be underdeveloped.
My point is, Nigerians should learn to jettison any cultural practices, believes or rules that discourage people from working and aspiring for greater heights at any ages! All these organizations that restrict people of certain ages from working for them (eg banks) should be seriously sanctioned. If we can have people in their 70s get elected as presidents of the country, then we should not discriminate against people of same age brackets that still want to work in any organizations. Let's learn to fire from all cylinders in our quest for development! My broda... As every employee dey call 23 - 25 na wetin make me pack my kaya look the other way |
