Business › Re: Is There Any Chance That Prices Of Goods And Services Will Come Down? by NothingDoMe: 8:08pm On Oct 27, 2023
JagabanB:
Our issues is not with dollar, that's where most of u Nigerians have misplaced priorities.
Our major problem is with production.
If u happen to be in places like Benue during harvest season, u will hear that a paint rubber of groundnut sells for as low as #400 or #500.
In other times, it sells for double that price.
This is just an illustration to show us that things will become cheaper when we have it in abundance.
Prices of goods and services will reduce only when we have them in abundance, how do we get them in abundance, by investing in production, what we should be agitating for is support from all quarters, from FG, various State Governments, wealthy individuals to invest into the society by empowering young Nigerians with the finance to go into production.
The energy we use in posting, reposting and talking about dollar, if Nîgeriàns channel that energy into this, we won't be talking about dollars on the long run and things will be easier then.
Not bad 👏

I challenge you to listen to his eloquent speech at the recent Nigeria economic summit group and I dare say that non of his co-contestants will have ever been capable of that, part of his strength is appearing incapable which people like you latch on to, only for him to use to disarm and destroy his enemies, I posit that no singular politician is any where as politically sophisticated as Tinubu
Na eloquent speech we go chop?😅

I can see how he used the eloquent speech to disarm and destroy the Economy. Lemme abeg 😅

Lol. You lie. Tell Tinubu to stop sharing dollar during elections and I'll take you serious. Nor be my small USD you go take do national patriotic experiment.

NB: It is not the Dollar that is the problem so no more talk about crashing the Dollar. Dollar is just a benchmark. Naira has devalued against all international currencies.

Well spoken general Buratai. I wish Nigerians know your worth. A prophet has no honour in his own land. Let's join hands to build Nigeria
We can't keep building while others, namely the politicians, tear everything down. Millions of tax paid to the government yet I don't see that money at work anywhere apart from millions deposited in the pockets of legislooters.

Lol. That Nigeria is one kind of a funny country. Imagine people blaming Obi and Atiku for distracting Tinubu from focusing on the Economy.

I have always maintained that Tiffnubu is too senile to lead Nigeria. There's nothing anymore upstairs in that coconut head. If e didn't dey then e didn't dey.

Well, your view is quite an unpopular one according to Nigerians( even though your view is right).
Lemme ask you
Would you prefer an atheist gay judge over dogmatic Nigerian judge? And reasons
As long as the judge is impartial and dispenses justice, I don't really care if he is an atheist gay and has leprosy.
Christianity Etc › Re: Nigeria Is 2nd Most Prayerful Country On Earth by NothingDoMe: 5:42pm On Oct 18, 2023
wirinet:
Then answer the question, is Nigeria a righteous nation? If not why, inspite of having the highest number of churches and mosques in the world, inspite of being the second most prayerful nation in the world.

Why are we then highly religious but at the same time highly unrighteousness? We have become do loathed that no country wants to let a nigerian into their soil.
Like Jesus said to the Pharisees:

"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices--mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law--justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former"

Righteousness is not prayer.
Christianity Etc › Re: Nigeria Is 2nd Most Prayerful Country On Earth by NothingDoMe: 5:12pm On Oct 18, 2023
jaephoenix:
Yet unrighteous countries like UK, Denmark etc excel. So whats your point?
You think righteousness is just about being gay or not gay? 😄😄😄😄.

These are nations that look after their poor, upholds transparency, ensures justice is done, and fights for freewill. I would rather be tried by a gay judge that has a conscience, than an idiotic dogmatic religious non-gay clown Judge without a conscience sold to the highest bidder.

How will a nation grow when Justice is for sale?
Christianity Etc › Re: Nigeria Is 2nd Most Prayerful Country On Earth by NothingDoMe: 9:49am On Oct 17, 2023
wirinet:
Absolute rubbish. Hard work, honesty, the rule of law and patriotism exalts a nation. Prayer is just wishful thinking without any basis in reality. Its just a physiological device to keep the poor
abused and exploited masses hopeful, docile and controllable.
What you listed are the the components of Righteousness

1. Transparency
2. Equity
3. Justice
4. Honesty

Righteousness exalts a nation. Not prayer. This isn't saying that prayer is bad.

Christianity Etc › Re: Nigeria Is 2nd Most Prayerful Country On Earth by NothingDoMe: 6:58pm On Oct 15, 2023
Prayer is good. BUT we don't deal righteously in Nigeria. Righteousness is what exalts a nation.
