Well, I'm being realistic here. I'm not particularly bothered about any supposed US conspiracy in Nigeria. Nigeria is too unstable for any further external meddling. Nigeria will always exist; Unified or not is of little importance. All I'm saying is we should not let ourselves be tossed about. History is there to learn from.

I have read several instances where he had to kowtow to his people's demands.

Very soon Buhari will be back in power and deepen his style of leadership which has up to now divided Nigeria more than ever before. His supporters will acclaim, not because he is the best but he fits into their idea of a leader that will contain those they do not love. So I am indifferent to where America is having a military base. It might even be to the advantage of the oppressed people of Nigeria. Ghana deserves every recognition that they are getting from the developed world. Ghana is a very serious country. They definitely want to get it right.
