it's just a shame.
In addition,I think these guys are so ignorant. you know I use to have this akwa ibom vision board which i created. My original vision was for the entire akwa ibom including calabar to be a mega city and possibly renamed and fractionated into north, west, east, south, etc. . My plan consisted of Uyo and uruan areas being the administrative district of the city with government buildings. Ibeno and eket area was to be the entertainment and recreational district with hotels and high end restaurants,Casino, amusement park and refurbished beaches. Oron and Mbo area was to be the financial and industrial district with seaport and skyscrapers. but apparently these guys have a different evil plan . at this point I'm only interested in the welfare of Oron nation.
God complex! you need psychiatric help ASAP! Stop living in self delusion.

I maintain that Akpabio is a big Thief, commissioning unfinished projects that he has collected money 5 times the cost. Is this what 3 trillion naira can do in 8 years. Now he has just realised that nairaland can save his ass. wow
nonsense. Akpabio has been commissioning projects since 2008, and they have all been widely reported on Nairaland and all other media. this web page is full of Akpabios Magic of transformation.

Stop hating.

In all my travels, all my life, I have never seen where a project is commissioned after completion, 2 bridges were just built and roads also expanded by 4 lanes on either side on 316, Lawrenceville Georgia. no one ever came to open or commission the project be it the mayor or the governor.

Every nigerian governor is guilty of this.

Why do we praise people for spending our money for us? We must get out of this quagmire and demand for accountability..

May God help Nigeria.
You are just trying to impress us with the fact that you live in georgia which may be a lie, but if its true what are you doing in georgia? cant you live in a more impressive city like NYC, LA, Miami, those first class cities will really impress us. georgia is the backwater of America ( the ajegunle of America) . I am not impressed! shocked shocked shocked

Nigeria has a right to its traditions, you are welcome to worship the southern traditions of the backwaters of georgia which is not surprising for an Uncle tom that you are, who hates himself and worships everything white.

Meanwhile watch your back in georgia lynching of blacks are still ongoing there. LOL

1 cinema

1 Waste mall for the poor people of akwa ibom to spend. WyatWhat they sdon't have.

1 hotel for all the poor people of akwa ibom to lodge in and have good night sleeps.

1 gutter or concrete barrier..

Still less than 10 projects after 8 years in office and the largest state budget spending in the history of west Africa..

No wonder all his projects can not fill more than half a page on NL....

Because my Post somehow bothers you huh? Ugh. I cant even.
Its seems you are so down because no one commends your gov. for his good works, But Akpabio gets commendations. Dont sound so sad, your governor is going to the senate and i also herd some people say he will be minister under buhari, That means weather senate or minister he will still have another opportunity to impact Nigeria, dont lose hope, maybe Nigerians will actually commend him when he actually does something worthwhile rather than his usual tribalist rants.

Honestly why does no one recognizes the Work of Kwankwaso that much ? I just saw some ldiot posting a list of performing Governors and he actually rated Kwankwaso 60% or something. Its really just hilarious. Maybe if he always goes around commissioning every shit he does and publishing it on all media then people will start showering him with praises too, Oh wait! Never mind, at least all Northerners Know about and appreciate his work (well excluding the ldiots that still somehow worship the likes of Shekarau).

I kinda wanna go gather pictures of everything he did in Kano (and its A LOT) then i remembered someone did that here already and lets just say it immediately turned into a tribal fight because thats what Nigeria is about. You hear all kinds of shit about your Region but once someone does something right in that region it turns to shit like 'Its our money that built that blah blah, Thank us' 'Your almajiri brothers will bomb this, that blah blah'.

The reason i actually make a big deal about Kwankwaso is that he's only been there for 4 years and his budget has been around 210-235 billion.
Are you okay? take a chill pill please.

"Looking back to when we first opened Le Meridien Ibom in 2007, we saw an opportunity in a city with limited infrastructure, today the state of Akwa Ibom has been transformed and modernised with new highways and a local airport, while the hotel was recently selected as an SPG Members' Favourite," said Michael Wale, President, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Europe, Africa and Middle East.

"Our experience and shared successes with the government of Akwa Ibom leads us to believe that Four Points by Sheraton Ikot Ekpene is another milestone in the development of the state and we embark on this second joint venture with great confidence."

Reflecting the brand's promise and insight into the needs of today's traveller, the hotel will also offer all of the brand's defining elements, including the signature Four Points by Sheraton Four Comfort bed and free bottled water in the room, complimentary Wi-Fi in all public areas, a delicious breakfast with great coffee and refreshing local beer with Best Brews, helping guests to start and end the day right.

"With one of the strongest pipelines in the Starwood portfolio, Four Points by Sheraton offers a compelling blend of comfort, style and affordability, making it an increasingly attractive choice for owners and developers across the world."

where's the maritime university that should be in Oron? I believe that akpabio told his friend jonathan not to upgrade the academy to university.
where are the bridges in Oron nation? akpabio built them in abak, ikot ekpene ,uyo and places that do not need bridges.
what ever happened to the Oron museum? which could generate millions each year if refurbished and modernized. the artefacts are believed to be the most beautiful in africa. some of the artefacts can be found at philadelphia museum. akpabio built the oron museum edifice as a meaningless E-library in uyo.
why should the "Oron International Airport" which is located in okobo oron be called "Akwa Ibom international airport,Uyo"?
where is the seaport in Oron? where are the Rubber,Plastic,Timber,Paper, toilet paper, glass, and canning Industries in Oron?
where is the waterfront skyline of Oron ? the Oron's oil wealth meant for the skyline is in akpabio's bank account.
where's University of Oron? Akpabio built it at ikot ekpene as "Ritman University"
What arrant Nonsense, Why dont you Ask the Oron people to relocate to calabar? How do you know which state will be better for them? By the way blame to proud and stupid governor who took the case to court and now that the supreme court has ruled you are belly aching. Both gov. Akpabio and Imoke are lawyers I guess we now know who the better lawyer is.

The maritime Academy oron, The National Museum Oron are all federal institutions and the state has no jurisdiction over Blame FG for any problems in their institutions not Akpabio.

The Akwa Ibom State Airport is not in Oron, The airport is located in a piece of land that lies in three Local Govt of Nsit Atai, Uruan And Okobo LGA respectively. and in line with global best practices where Airports are named after the major city they serve Akwa Ibom Intl is called Uyo Airport, Just like Port harcourt intl is called called Port harcourt airport even though it is in Omagwa. and JFK airport in New York is called New york city airport even though it is in the Queens.

Ritman university is a private institution owned by the Ibok essien. the school has been in existence before Akpabio was born, With its humble beginning as a commercial/ vocational school evolving into and international secondary school/ College and now a University. The Ritman University is a testament to where Hard work and dedication can take you.

Be happy for Akwa Ibom If you cant then STFU if you have nothing to offer.

Tell your leaders to work hard so they can get good things. Donald duke worked hard for CRS even though he borrowed too much money. the illustrious sons of Akwa Ibom who were governors of the then cross river state worked hard for CRS eg Udokagah Esuene who built the calabar stadium, Secretariat, and all the industries in the then CRS, and is widely regarded as the father of modern calabar as he put in place all the major institutions in cannan land that you guys are enjoying today.

If you want to criticize Akpabio do him the honour of being factual!
