OYIBN: Thank you for being reasonable. What of kipnappers? How far has our police fared in freeing those kidnapped? What if any of the housemates fall sick. When our President had ear infection, he went to London for treatment. He is currently in London for medical treatment. Instead of voting in the right people on election day, voters will be collecting N2000 to vote in the wrong person. Sentiments is not what is needed, the truth about our country is stirring us in the face. You have said it all. |

What were you guys expecting, we don't have the infrastructure, security, power to organize such event in Nigeria. And besides even the Nigeria environment does not encourage such event without criticism and disruption. And which city can host such event. |

win3k: use your time for community development and charitable acts, you will achieve more than beliving in stupid prayers! How many have you done? See what atheism has done to you that you can reason straight once it is a religion thread. And for enlightenment purpose, prayer is like an affirmation. It is like talking to yourself and when you do and believe, it will eventually come to pass. |

lovat: NYSC camping is the only fun thing about NYSC. I have this penchant for going late for any public stuff and i got to campa day after camp closed bbecause i needed to tidy somethings in the office.
The soldiers refused to allow me enter and i lied to them that I've been on the road for three days because we are part of the people that were ceded to Cameroun in Bakassi Pennisula. They pitied me and made me their friends because i could build stories just from reading news online
The Camp Director didn't doubt my stiry either and he was pressing me to tell him more but remember if you want to lie BE BRIEF
I went to camp as a big boy because its been long i graduated and going for NYSC wasn't a prority with deals to close. Most of the corp members were still in Year1 when i graduated from school.
I didn't participate in anything in camp because i was busy pursuing an NYSC official. After camp i went to my PPA and the next time i went there again was to do my POP Bros I hail o |

fratermathy: We do. There are festivals in every clan. Just that Christianity and anti-traditionalism are phasing them out and rendering them stale and obsolete.
What Urhobo needs is a cultural revival which will cut across our language, dressing, food, festivals, etc. We need modern Urhobo youths to embrace the culture before it goes into extinction. I totally agree with too you. Religion especially Christianity is a major cause of the decline of urhobo culture. And also most importantly education and enlightenment. People see the culture as local and Such donot want to be associated with it. Am hopeful things will change for the better by maybe re-branding the culture as a whole to attract both native and non native to it. God bless urhobo nation and delta state as a whole. |
