ornicus:You are nothing close to what you say you are. I believe now you never ordered any ride to Festac. Stop wasting our time here please. You said 'No wonder Nigerians are unemployable' I will tell you this one time, one day, you will get to work and that work won't be available anymore. Let's then see who is unemployable. Enjoy your sunday. |
ornicus:Hey Mister. We have had enough of your thrash here. Kindly get out of this thread so that the real drivers and partners can share their genuine experiences. Thanks. |
Still on my 15th trip of the week. Guess this was targeted at those that uses both apps. I don't think I can continue paying this 25% any more. I need new business ideas please. fasa199: |
franksam2009:If I get you right chief, you mean you can go around 4,500 km before an oil change on 20w50 ? I think that's too much. I use same but changes it at every 3,500 km. Not miles. That's me though. |
slamstanlee:Not really bro. The code is required when you want to start a trip from a place that is not the pick up point. That is if the driver's uber app has the latest update. You will be prompted to enter the code to confirm you have the rider in your car. I have had to enter it like 3 times now. |
The truth is this, if a rider is respectful to the driver, maybe even gist small with him or her, ask about his day and how the work is going. Believe me, the driver won't mind stopping for her several times to buy whatever she wants to buy. But the moment the rider enters your car and starts acting as if you are her personal driver, the driver will not be happy. Some riders are so bad that for the rest of the day, the driver's mood is spoilt for good and it probably affects his other rides. A driver friend told me about a ' ride from hell ' that he had and it got to the point that the rider was struggling the steering with him. He didn't even bother using the help option to report the issue. He stopped work for the day. Drove to Maryland mall and made the complaint in person. 3 days later, he got another request and drove to pick up and found out it was this same rider. This time, someone else booked for him. This work can be crazy. slamstanlee: |
I honestly don't know why some Uber/Bolt riders are unnecessarily rude. I was on queue on uber at MM1 car park and got a request from MM2. I called rider and told her to give me a few minutes to pay for car park and come and pick her up and she asked ' how many minutes '? I said maybe 10 minutes. She said okay. I was paying for car park and she called me asking 'Oga where are you ' ? I almost laughed and told her that I am coming, that she should kindly give me some time. She said okay. I got to MM2 and there was traffic inside the MM2 and i called her and told her that i am inside MM2 already that she will soon see me as i am close to opposite Chicken republic which is where she is standing. She ended call. As I was parking close to her to pick her, I heard her complaining to 2 ladies beside her that an uber she ordered has not gotten to her for hours. Honestly, it was just 12 minutes. As she stepped into the car and I was like ' I am sorry madam but there was small traffic ', she snapped at me saying ' Please do not talk to me. Just take me to my destination. I, as an uber driver that was looking to make money for the day swallowed it and started the trip. Card trip. On a monday morning. I said to myself. Just do it. Your reward is in heaven. We never exchanged a word again till I dropped her off and I said 'Thanks and she didn't respond and later gave me 3 star rating. This happened like 2 weeks ago but believe me, I am wiser now. If I call you on the phone or come to pick you up and you give me attitude. That trip has ended. I did rather be hungry than humiliated again in my own car. Keep up the good work guys. For what it's worth. I read the whole of this thread. It took me 2 months. I learnt a lot. drmikeadams: |
