Pls, I need help from someone who has experience for years on nysc issues.

We the stream 2 batch (A) were discharged last week Thursday from camp in EKITI after the 21 days camping exercise, and I was posted to my ppa, but the issue is I want to relocate/redeploy back to Abuja where I based, I tried to go for my ppa to meet the proprietor where I was posted but couldn't meet him because I heard school just vacated same last week, and I'm currently in Abuja, but the issue is I don't like that place at all, I really want to get out from the ekiti state because I don't think I can come there anymore.

Please I need someone experienced in matters like this to tell me what to do please.
This is simple. Since you don't wish to serve in ekiti state then you have no option than to do your relocation back to where you want. School will be resuming 25th of this month, you have from now till then to decide. You go need clearance letter from your PPA to take do May clearance. Clearance always start on the 1st of every month unless the 1st fall on weekend

If you know you want to serve in ekiti, report to the school on the 25th for acceptance and go do documentation at the LG so that the proprietor can give you clearance letter by month end

But if you know you want to serve in Abuja, this is the time to work your redeployment back because the process of redeployment is always long (going to the secretariat for documentation after being redeployed and wait to be posted to a PPA) to avoid missing May clearance. Missing of clearance fit lead to extension of service year

See, it's not only Lagos state that allows request letter. Just say not all state. The state I camped accepts, and I didn't camp in Lagos state. You just have to take the request letter to those in ICT department. It's even way easier for those in the Northern part of the country. But I didn't camp in the north though. So any body interested in that should just take request letter to his/her camp. If they accept, fine, if they don't, just apply for redeployment while in camp, which is the easiest, and at the end of the camping, your new state will show. Where I camped, redeployment to a new state was moimoi, very easy, unless you didn't apply. But, as far as you apply, you're getting it. Infact, in camp, they'll be announcing it all the time that you shouldn't give any body your money for redeployment, that it's free, that it's your right to get redeployed. They were always making the announcement that those interested in redeploying should apply. That's why I'll advise those who wish to do so, to do that while in camp, at least, that one is guaranteed.
redeployment in camp na free but you no fit smell Lagos, Abuja and state of origin.

But truthfully only Lagos camp accept request letter. They even prefer request letter than for them to post you anywhere. You no fit compare Lagos to other states na

Hello

You don't need all these you know?

When @Snowland accused you with enough evidence backing it up and asked you to come clear yourself. You couldn't even say Jack

You were begging him to come on WhatsApp and have a discussion. @Snowland is not all those people that you are mentioning, worshiping and giving appraisal to

@Snowland is a very intelligent man. You should see that from the way he writes and how he handled the giveaway.. You came to this forum to solicit for help. You get caught and given opportunity to come clair yourself and all you had to say was to beg him to come on WhatsApp

Don't you see how the second person that was accused cleared himself right here? Or you think he doesn't know how to beg for private discussion? I'm happy @Snowland is a Yoruba man but not everyone are tribalistic

Even if angel come down and voutch for you no one whatsoever will believe provided you yourself couldn't clear yourself by yourself. People can easily assume those who voutch for you are your people, yes. Since you failed to clear yourself like the other person then whatsoever you are being accused of is right

You couldn't clear yourself like the other person and you are here praising your fellow human because they are fortunate to have money. My dear God is not a man, we all understand all these that you are doing so please stop it

Lastly, God doesn't accept praising or worshiping your fellow man because of material things

If you recieved any gift items from anyone. Thank the person, pray for him/her and leave everything to God. Stop worshiping your fellow man because of money please

Thanks for the observation. Honestly I only looked through page 10 of the thread and from page 8, it was just repeated names. So it's possible that other names besides @VTJN might also not appear in my list.
If there are other names, I'll appreciate it being pointed out for addition to the lists.

Also I equally ommitted some names, like @byrron that I feel might not really need it, I might be wrong though.

Thanks.
You welcome sir

Every one on this planet basically has something he/ she enjoys doing and it comes effortlessly...
For example...
>>> Some people like talking, entertaining and Enjoys listening to radio or shows...If u were a career advisor, where would u advice such person to channel that energy to?

>>> When U discovered that someone likes helping out a lot planning, organising, very good with people, in your opinion,if u were asked to advise the person, what will u say?

>>Someone who is gifted in terms of fixing things, Who knows little minor details that any one can just over look... Even as a kid he knows that it was not stressful fixing certain things..be it plumbing, building, electronics etc.. what will u say to that person?

>>Remember having passion in doing what u enjoy as a career and getting paid for it is different from picking up a career for monetary reasons...

In OP's case..
>>Is he compassionate and passionate about his country enough to die for it?
>>Is he ready to forsake his family for Nigeria and protect its territory?
>> Is he a peace maker?
>> Does he dislike injustice?

If the above few mentioned were Yes, then the country is calling and he need to answer..

But if it was because he doesn't want to stay for long looking for a job, or his friends was on it, or he was fit tall and athletic to be in the army, then...
Brilliant input

Sadly, most Nigerians don't go with passion and compassion as the country itself isn't encouraging

We mostly resorts to whatsoever job that can put food on our table

Very few Nigerians possessed these aforementioned traits at bolded. Yet, we keep applying for millitary and paramilitary job. Some are already into the system

The country isn't working seriously. I for instance had passion for talking. Here i am today, no job

If given the opportunity, i don't even mind joining the paramilitary I.e custom, immigration, FRSC, civil defence, police, prison service, et al. All these, just to end poverty and unemployment

It's not been easy in this present state of the nation as a graduate still unemployed. The guy is even lucky to have gotten someone to help him with NA job

Ok, this is an Uncle's advice, If army is your calling please go for it... But if it wasn't and U just want to make it as a career, please don't do that to your parents...

It is good to die for one's country but die for a country that will appreciate it.. Obviously Nigeria is not a country worth dying for...

The politicians, their kids are littered all over Europe and America and u want to be a sacrificial lamb?..

Not trying to stop u..after all is said and done, the final decision is yours to make.
How would he know if army was his calling? How would i know if custom is my calling? You can give advice, but claiming if something is one's calling is what i find somewhat difficult to grasp

If you ain't a witch or a seer. You definitely won't know which profession is your calling. We are all running helter scatter to be responsible and be a better person

yes I might be an Ssce holder, but am self employed doing well for myself (I noi de beg to chop) isn't that enough.

can't an Ssce holder marries a bsc, msc or a phd holder.
why the discrimination towards a brother because of a white man education?
because of a white sheet of paper.
Bro go and marry your level please. If you know you can't upgrade yourself and have a degree not because of this lady in question o. But if you've already made up your mind not to have anything to do with schooling to acquire knowledge then you should settle down with a girl with school cert for peace of mind. It's hard before you can see a family that will allow their daughter who is a graduate to marry a school cert. It's very hard bro except the guy is very very rich

Please kindly point out where i was boasting about my personal self? Everything I've said so far pertaining to myself as a case study was based on "Instance" please don't quote me out of context. You don't need a soothsayers to tell you that not everyone will do well with or without formal education. Besides, formal education isn't meant to make you rich or whataview. Nothing can stop you from being rich if destined to and have access to the right information. Education has nothing whatsoever to do with richness. Nonetheless, it'd be a plus if one had formal education no matter how little it is

You asked for fact to my claim that people who got education had more opportunities to leave the shores of the country. Didn't you? Then i told you to bring someone who had just school cert and business doing with other person who had a degree and wanting to explore to other countries like US, UK, Canada et al. Then watch and see who US or UK embassy would gladly grant her request amongst both parties. That's a real life scenario i put up there. At least, if you claimed you don't know that those countries are majorly accepting those who had good education and wanting to make futher research through studies and possibly get PR and become citizens with time. Then you can make do with the life scenario i put up there as the fact that you are seeking for

If paradventure you need more input or fact to my claim then you should visit the travel session of this beautiful forum. Google, quora, Wikipedia et al are also recommended to get more fact that you seek
You better leave that dude alone guy. Person wey dey ask you wetin embassy carry come for this matter na him you wan dey elucidate futher for grin grin

Good evening all, I have been a guest of this forum for some years now, I decided to register after reading a story shared yesterday by NPTJ to also share mine and asked for advice as i am really confused right now.
Although my own case is different as i am legally married.
My husband and I have been married for five years now with two wonderful kids.
Aside the reason for this thread, He's a very good husband and father to our kids.
The issue is , he doesn't want me to go to the village with the children that automatically means I can't go as I'm still breastfeeding our second child , I cannot leave him and travel as he's not even up to one year.

My husband and my parents stays in different states. We went to the village last year July and there's no plan of going this year, whenever I raise discussion concerning the issue he simply replied that we'll go when there's a need for us to go.
I hardly go for any function in the village except it directly involves my parents.
This has brought a lot of issues between my nuclear and my extended families.
It wasn't like this when we married newly, we do visits them then and even go during Christmas holidays but all that changed when we had our first child, he feels we can't take the child to the village so that "village people" will not attack him.
We've quarrelled about this severally yet nothing changes, I am tired of arguing about this .
Please married folks, am I suppose to abandoned my extended family just because I am married? Please I need matured advice before I do something that I will regret.
Is my husband right on this ? has anyone been in my position, please help me.

Sis please listen to your husband. Provided he's not stopping you from reaching your parents. Please sis love your husband and listen to him. You see those extended family, they are just after what they'd get from your husband. They can't do nothing if things goes south

How i wish my sister was in your position. I wouldn't be here crying and lamenting. Your husband didn't isolate you completely out of your nuclear family. Look at you using a phone and you were legally married to him. Chai sis all these basic things in marriage looks like a luxury to me where my only sister is

Please sis listen to your husband. Your husband is a good man seriously, please do not take his goodness for granted

Enjoy your home sis
