Some people are trivialization what is @ stake The great Igbos, already, have pocketed great UNN They want more things & they deserve more things Naming NDA after Ojukwu isnt a bad idea After all he was a military man, the 1st soldier-graduate for that matter I hope GEJ understands the crux of the matter If he doesnt Chukwumerije & co should do the "needful". |
Its not only on salary that coaches depend Rich Professionals buoy them up |
How are we sure that the Gowons among us will understand Grammar if SNC is convened The way they reneged on Aburi accord is still v fresh in our memory |
@ guonno Hapi u noted that Aluko talked like a confused man The most nauseating was when he defended Awo, Awo who assured that west will go if East goes Why didnt Aluko spin this stupid tissue when Ikemba was alife? Ikemba would have skinned d skunk. Aluko was a shameless double agent |
The dead should be sent to Gowon He will be happy they died Nigerians Folks there is no way these middle beltans will not pitch tent with ppl of South East in 2015 NE + NW will slug it out with SE + SS + NC SS will play beautiful bride, be sure Lagosians will go with SE The spirit of Ikemba will continue to hunt the core North Next presido will emerge from SE, its only prediction based on sequence of happenings. |
GEJ is humble, sure-footed & focused Unfortunately some challenges have prevented us from seeing these attributes We are coming from a deep pit & its simply naive to expect a miracle so soon If you watch his actions you can see he is laying a solid foundation for future Most of the things our previous leaders neglected are being tackled now, wt passion He has created conducive atmosphere for businesses to thrive Of course thats why he is pulling so many foreign companies, nobody can deny this! The technocrats he pulled to his administration are doing marvelous work With time we will all realise his fortitude God will help us surmount the Boko Haram & other challenges that are distracting us Lets allow our president a chance, even though he has been doing well, so far, we need time to fully appreciate him Definitely he means well Some of the measures we see as harsh, may, after all turn out in our favour We may not be as armed with facts & figures as he & his economic team are . |
Jibril Aminu is already down with Parkinson He could not get back to the senate where he was called the headmaster He was there as chairman of senate committee on foreign Affairs yet nothing meaningful was credited to him He is senile and abandoned He is seeking to be noticed as nobody recognises him any longer Now lets ask him some questions: As a minister of education what efforts did you make to fast forward the education standard of the North? As an ambassador in USA how many of your people did you show links? As a petroleum minister enumerate positive inputs you kept in place to uplift the North? As a senator of the federal republic of Nigeria how did you take care of the North`s interest? I believe the Boko Haram phenomenon was as a result of his ineptitude. & he is aware, fully. He is only trying to placate the angry boys by saying what he thinks will please them Really they shd be after Jibril Aminu & his comrades in mis-rule, for turning their lives upside down His statement could be wrongly interpreted by the Youths, It will fuel their passion 4 mischief AS a matter of fact he shd be a candidate of SSS, that can save us from deterioration of events in the North. |
@ namfav Explore this link & you will be satisfied http://www.plusnetwork.com/?sp=chv&q=meaning%20of%20adieu |
@ A-ZeD Listen 2 yrself, (((((People have discovered that they are fake doctors/hospitals in Nigeria, should we close all the hospitals?? If we cannot be told how they are milking us blue, there is no case))))) Hope you heard the figure spent on fuel subsidy & you saw list of those involved in the biz Well, bro, if you are not following its good you get refreshed, b4 you think of closing hospitals @ Mrjingles , Thanks People continue to perish due to lack of knowledge Too bad that most of our people have lost positive power of expression |
@ Lanre front, You seem to be missing the point too Beaf is talking sense in confronting those who cant reason properly We need to be logical I gave instance to buttress this , may be you are unable to decipher that Rushing to attack usually leaves ones backyard vulnerable. Sorry if I sound harsh After saying that Beaf is well grounded in syllogism I gave my own ideas (In syllogism you cant get to a right conclusion based on a wrong premise) If you got that well then you must also imbibe this simple truth, , we all have freedom to air our views, these views may not be pleasant to all @ all times. & learn not to insult others whose views you dont agree with. Try to be more open minded, that way you stand to gain from wealth of experience of others. If you are interested in really finding facts about people with dual personality then look for Sybil. |
No one has rivaled this great man Even @ death he continues to exhibit greatness Adieu the beloved one |
I salute the doggedness of Beaf He can be trusted He fires straight He just states the facts , the way facts are His stance doesnt suggest he defends anybody But dudes with warped argument cast aspersions on him If u say something is sweet & u cant say exactly why u say so better be quiet Somebody said he discovered some few people are milking us blue, , & initiated actions to stop the mess. Yet people are saying he is benefiting from the mess! What a bundle of contradiction Under a normal circumstance removal of subsidy, in a field as strategic as petroleum can result in vortex of bad after effects, to the extent that expected gains could be wiped out by hardship resulting from hyper inflation, retrenchment, discontentment. If we allow such to be inflicted on us how are we coming out clean? People have left the kernel & are pursuing shadow, & Beaf is dealing with them properly. Ride on Bro |
GEJ , In spite of all odds stands out He stopped endless queues @ fuel stations ( thereby saving us huge losses & embarassing situations) He created cool atmosphere that allowed people come out in true colours ( this threw-up Boko, Its a plus) He is tackling the power sector head long, (& we are seeing glimpse of hope, steadily too whn compared) He is to allow states used their own generated power from 2012( great to brak monopoly of PHCN) He is establishing boarding schools for Amajiris ( good foundation to cure grave societal ill) He allowed new minimum wage ( never mind the foot dragging in some states ) Takes difficult decisions head-on( like issue of fuel subsidy, though some people take him on that, wrongly?) He is re-vitalising many moribund sectors ( take the railways as a good case) He is tackling abandoned projects, (many of them dot the places, Enugu Airport, Dredging of River Niger etc) He tackles Boko, (has just jailed one of the spokes persons) Tackles corruption,,,( courageous enuf to lay hands on Bankole, & just fired Waziri accused of ineptitude Had the guts to cut allocation to National assembly ( thereby attracting more vibrant counter checks) He hired a fire brand to man INEC ( we are slowly moving out of the woods) Most of these are very courageous actions, especially when juxtaposed with our Nigerian bad culture GEJ qualifies for Hall of Fame The person behind Sahara Reporters should be 1st in d Hall of Shame Reason, his stories have consistently been substandard. Even kids find it easy to know he is dishing out worthless things. |
OBJ always behaves like a comedian Bold people like IBB always reminded him of his ineptitude What can he boast of during his reigns , both as a soldier & as a civilian leader? What became of his cassava deal with China? Now that he is out of govt he can talk of ways out tru Agriculture He should have deepened values in that sector while in power but he bungled If he had handled privatisation well the Senate would have been spared challenges He needs to account, fully, for his romance with BPE , & monies when he combined petroleum ministry with that of commander in chief. |
@ Godman Thanks for being frank The essence of being in business is to garner profit NGOs and others like them are exceptions As long as stake holders lost their money I bet they are not ready for stories I think Sanusi had options but it seems he was also on vendetta mission The quantum of money sunk to allow Sanusi has his way wasnt v necessary I believe Soludo must have weighed the after effects & let go There was no need to use hammer to break eggs in order to make omelet I may be naive but most business men are |
Sylva should just lick his wound Politicking allows mudslinging He gambled & spent huge money in trying to scuttle GEJs ascension to office Now is the pay back time, let him reap fruits from his farm Anything he publishes now will be countered as rantings of a drowning man &, unfortunately, will count against him, as long as EFCC is in place Soon, very soon he will become an ex-governor. & the Immunity will be lifted |
Ghosts are supposed to be objectionable But if we must liken Ikemba to a ghost permit me to say he is a friendly ghost He was like an angel to the Igbo race The only slur I ever found on him was formation of Ikemba Front Situation, then, I believe can exonerate him-he was gunning 4 the senate & rigging was starring him in d face In spite of all, he is close to what Shakespeare said about Julius Caesar::::: All the elements are so well mixed in him & I am happy the world saw all these, and are giving back to him If Gowon had measured up to expectations as then head of state Aburi talks could have helped us B4 long he wl pay us the huge debt-thats Gowon, by apologising for failing on agreements reached @ Aburi |
We are waiting to hear that the fellow who dished out the ruse on okada has been sent packing We wont like to hear that a committee has been set up to find out the circumstances surrounding it We wont even like the police to be on top of the situation , otherwise we will be tempted to believe that they flew a kite |
The more you look the less you see Hope they wont put the job of the poor police officers on jeopardy Definitely something is fishyyyyyyyyyyy |
@ Werepeleri, Thanks for the illumination you provided on ministers clarification We dont need double quick match from any quarter now Our people have suffered enough, only measures to ameliorate the situation shd be encouraged |
@ Soloqy, Why cant you be firm Why are you afraid of quoting your source Its not enuf to just say TVs carried it Stand firm & say so so person denied romour being peddled regarding bikes We all know who are the government spokes persons For your information Abati has since taken over fro Emma Niboro We have Labaran Maku, Anyim is also there Who of these people came on air to reverse what you are claiming Look @ the topic once more. Now respond if you have a positive input Otherwise stop compounding issues The thing under contention here is quite clear. We shd not be sentimental My 1st balanced post on this issue is there. I am not a party man. |
@Soloqy, Seems you have problem with interpreting what 4 stroke engine means Why not use your google b4 you run into big problem If you believe the govt has denied that then say the source, provide the link Otherwise nobody will believe you . & dont just post something you cant substantiate |
@milehigh06, If you are a school head & your students entered for WAEC, NECO, GCE & NABTEB & they failed all these exams woefully wont you have doubts & draw some conclusions Like: the students are untrainable, the teachers need further training ? If your teachers are well motivated wont you continue to find the real cause of YOUR failure? Going further will you recommend sack of your teachers, one after the other? Now apply it, Siasia , gooooooooooo Eucharia Uche, goooooooooooooo Eguavon, gooooooooooooooo Keshi, get ready to goooooooooooooo |
@ casket, Yea But plan B isnt exclusive right of a select group As you are strategising others are, can you contest that too? |
People shd desist from deceiving others The government never gave a rejoinder So the govts stand has not changed |
Truly Eguavon is not to blame for our lack luster performance The true story is that most of the plays he banked on were not released by their clubs This scenario played out so because FIFA didnt recognise the tournament So those clubs could not be forced to release the players Also we must remember that football is a game of 22 players The size of a country hardly counts We can only make condition in our local clubs juicy to make our boys stay home Instead of seeking greener pastures elsewhere If our good boys are home based we wont face such hurdles like refusal to release players |
Game over Nigeria & Algeria are out Morocco & Senegal qualify for nxt round The only consolation is we hv clinched 3rd position in our group. |
4 : 1 |
Nigeria 3 : 1 Algeria. |
Nigeria 2 : 1 Algeria 75 minutes gone Morocco 0 : 1 Senegal Even if we score more goals we are out as long as Senegal beats Morocco |
This is authentic , http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_CAF_U-23_Championship Nigeria 1 : 1 Algeria Morocco 0 : 1 Senegal In Progress |
@ Seun, Hope you knew what you posted, look @ it again((((((If we had good alternatives, there would have been no need to ban them.)))))Sounds unlike you! |
