If as claimed, he did make it known to the relevant authorities that he was about to "accept" a bribe, what exactly should he now own up to?

Given the befuddlement evident in some of the questions being asked here, I think few commentators appreciate FL's famed command of the English language and much less his his deliberate use of the word "caricature"
