LET ME SHOCK MY BROTHERS AND SISTERs WITH SOME MORE TRUTHS

1. *Nobody in the US Congress or Senate or in the Executive arm of their government, and no influential member of the US business community has ever met Nnamdi Kanu and showed any interest in his Biafra.* If you noticed, I keep mentioning the term "IPOB's Biafra". This is to show that Biafra could mean different things, depending on who is presenting it. For IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu, Biafra means some imaginary and undefined space to be carved out of some zoo. So you can imagine one wildlife land, out of which you can carve out a paradise called Biafra.


2. Nobody in the same groups as in 1 above in Europe or UN has shown interest either.
There are many reasons why there could not have been anyone showing interest. First, Nnamdi Kanu has never presented any coherent and realistic picture of Biafra worthy of consideration or discussion.


There is a difference between when you address an educated person and when you address an uneducated person. To an educated person, Nnamdi Kanu, is actually hollow and largely uninformed. But to an uneducated or barely educated person, Nnamdi could come across as a genius. He can mesmerize any uneducated Igbo person by appealing to his emotions.


If you look at the manner Nnamdi Kanu communicates with you, you see the common techniques of conmen talking to their victims. He will first display incredible level of self confidence and false bravado. That's why Nnamdi would use superlative terms such as when he tells his followers that he has "atomic bomb", when says he would "sink Nigeria" and destroy it completely. Second, he talks very fast. That's part of the technique. It makes it difficult for you to follow or for you to ask him questions.


And finally, conmen throw many ideas at you at the same time, hoping that one of those ideas will appeal to you even if the rest doesn't make sense. This is why Nnamdi means different things to different people. To some, he is a prophet. To some, he is the supreme commander or Supreme leader. To some, he is a freedom fighter, etc. And actually, he sees himself in these different images.

That's why sometimes, he dresses with beret cap typical of revolutionaries like Fidel Castro and Che Guevara. On other occasions, he dresses like some prophet of some ancient order. Also, when you listen to his broadcast, he will come up like a preacher and go into prayers mixing Christian with judaic and pagan chanting tones. Then he goes into a feat of rage and rambles on from one idea to another.


An example of such deception: Nnamdi announced that IPOB was going to beat Buhari in Japan. Many of them got so excited. Buhari was attending a one-day summit in Japan. But why Japan? Why not in the UK? Buhari spends months at a time in UK receiving treatment. Nnamdi lives in UK. If you could beat Buhari outside Nigeria, UK would have been the perfect place to do so. But he preferred to do it in Japan where nobody would tell whether he actually did it or not.


The point is that the way an educated person sees Nnamdi Kanu is more like a conman with some comic effects.


Another thing that really shocked me is Nnamdi's extraordinary capacity to lie and mislead his followers. For instance, he went to European parliament building which is open to the public, and took pictures and then announced that European Union had endorsed Biafra. And once his followers in Nigeria saw the pictures, they believed him. Also, while in America, he attended a rally by Republican party, which is an open even. Anybody could stroll in and out. He took selfie with some other people, probably fellow clowns attending the rally. He posted the pictures and claimed that Donald Trump had endorsed Biafra. Because of such stupid lies, market women in Onitsha suddenly began to pray for Trump, as they saw him as their savior, the patron of Biafra.


Now, and this is what is the problem, the capacity to deceive millions of people with such emptiness is baffling. That people are willing to lay down their lives for such emptiness is unbelievable. Sometimes, as an Igbo person, when I saw this, I felt so embarrassed because I know that educated people of other ethnic groups must be laughing at us. How can we say we are intelligent and a college degree holder in history would so easily mesmerize many with total emptiness.
If i sit down and list what Nnamdi Kanu has cost the Igbos, you will be shocked. All those things some of you believe you gained from IPOB and Nnamdi is actually an illusion. In truth, many non-Igbos consider us violent and war-oriented and untrustworthy. Yes, there are many people in Nigeria wanting Nigeria to break up and they are hoping that IPOB would instigate the crisis that would lead to the breakup. On the surface, you think they support IPOB. No, they actually don't. They just hope somebody else would start the trouble.


I understand that after reading this, some of you will get mad. Of course, why wouldn't you get mad? Anybody, who suddenly realizes that he or she has been so gullible and cheap will get upset. It is called sunk cost mentality. When a person realizes how gullible he has been for long, he prefers to remain gullible. But you need to remember that I'm not the cause of your anger. You should blame yourself for being so gullible all along.

- To maintain national peace and security, and to that end: to take effective collective measures for the prevention and removal of threats to the peace, and for the suppression of acts of aggression or other breaches of the peace, and to bring about by peaceful means, and in conformity with the principles of justice and national law, adjustment or settlement of national disputes or situations which might lead to a breach of the peace;
- To develop friendly relations among nations based on respect for the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples, and to take other appropriate measures to strengthen universal peace;
- To achieve national co-operation in solving national problems of an economic, social, cultural, or humanitarian character, and in promoting and encouraging respect for human rights and for fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language, or religion.

POLITICAL SYSTEM
The three branches are :
the Legislative - the part that makes laws,
the Executive - the part that carries out ( executes) the laws, and
the Judiciary - the courts that decide if the law has been broken.

These Separation of Powers helps to make sure people are safe. The executive branch carries out the laws but cannot make laws to make themselves powerful. Also the judiciary is responsible for making sure that criminals are punished so that members of the government or legislature cannot ignore the law as the judiciary can check on them.
The Executive carries out the day-to-day government and administration of Biafraland. It proposes laws to the parliament and executes the laws passed by the parliament. The Executive is formed from the majority party or parties in Biafra Parliament. Members of the Executive (Directorate of State) are all members of either the Biafra Parliament or National Legislature. The operation of the Executive and the Parliament are inextricably intertwined.

1. There shall be a Prime Minister who is the head of government and leader of a multi-party System in Biafraland.
(a) The Prime Minister selects and may dismiss other members of the cabinet, and allocates posts to members within the government.
(b) The Prime Minister is the pivotal person in contemporary executive governments. The PM is the focus of public and media attention, and has immense power to shape the composition of the government and determine its policy directions.
(c) The Prime Minister overviews the Executive Arm of Government in Biafraland, including information on the major Conventions, the operation of the Directorate of State, the work of Ministers and the Cabinet, ministerial behaviour and resignations.

2. There shall be a President of Biafra who shall be elected by the Chamber of Deputies by a secret ballot process.
(a) The minimum age limit for the office of the President shall be 30years and the maximum age limit shall be 75years. Minimum qualification shall be the old Standard Six or bachelors degree in any discipline.
(b) The President of Biafra is the de jure head of Biafraland. The position is largely an apolitical and ceremonial role.
(c) The President's ceremonial roles include signing every law (except those pertaining to the President's powers) and international or bilateral treaty, ceremonially appointing the Prime Minister, confirming and endorsing the credentials of ambassadors, and receiving the credentials of foreign diplomats.
(d) The President is the only government official with the power to pardon or commute prison sentence.
(e) The President appoints the Chairman of the Treasury Board of Biafra upon recommendation from the Prime Minister.
(f) The President also ceremonially appoints judges to their posts after their selection, he/she is nevertheless crucial to the operation of Biafra’s executive government.
(g) The President chairs the special session of the Directorate of State, gives assent to legislation, makes appointments on the advice of the government, and performs a host of other executive and ceremonial functions.
(h) The President’s role is also in appointing the Prime Minister who is usually the leader of the largest party in Parliament following an election, dissolving parliaments and calling elections.

3. There shall be a Parliamentary System of government in Biafraland.
(b) Biafra Parliament shall be sovereign in exercise of functions relating to the governance of Biafraland. It shall exercise this sovereign powers through the office of the Prime Minister.
(c) Members of Parliament shall be elected in general party based parliamentary election.
(d) From among the elected members of the Parliament, the Prime Minister of Biafra shall be elected by members of Biafra Parliament.
(e) The minimum age limit to be elected a parliamentarian shall be 21years.
(f) The Parliamentary Dress code shall be corporate – suit and tie.
(g) The maximum age to seek elected office shall be 55years of age.
(h) There shall be a Speaker of the Parliament and a Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies.
(i) Biafra Parliament shall be the legislative arm of government and an equal partner in relation to the other two (2) arms of government namely the Executive and the Judiciary.

I. Individual parliamentary privileges include:
- Freedom of speech
- Freedom from arrest in civil action for anything said on the floor of the house. All statements made on the floor of the Biafran Parliament is covered by privilege and shall not form the basis of a law suit.
- There will be NO immunity from arrest and prosecution for all elected officials and public servants.
- Exemption from jury duty
- Exemption from appearing as a witness
- Freedom from obstruction, interference, intimidation and molestation
II. Collective parliamentary privileges include:
- Power to discipline
- Regulation of the House's internal affairs
- Management of Employees
- Authority to maintain the attendance and service of Members
- Right to institute inquiries and to call witnesses and demand papers
- Right to administer oaths to witnesses
- Right to publish papers containing defamatory material
III. Parliamentary Committees amend bills on the appropriate subjects. Committee chairpersons are chosen by their members, on recommendation of the House Committee, and their factional composition represents that of the Parliament itself. Committees may elect sub-committees and delegate powers to them, or establish joint committees for issues concerning more than one committee. To further their deliberations, they invite government ministers, senior officials, and experts in the matter being discussed. Committees may request explanation and information from any relevant ministers in any matter within their competence, and the ministers or persons appointed by them must provide the explanation or information requested.

Permanent committees amend proposed legislation dealing with their area of expertise, and may initiate legislation. However, such legislation may only deal with Basic Laws and laws dealing with the Parliament, elections to the Parliament, members of the Parliament, or National Legislature.
Special committees function in a similar manner to permanent committees, but are appointed to deal with particular manners at hand, and can be dissolved or turned into permanent committees. Parliamentary inquiry committees are appointed by the Prime Minister to deal with issues viewed as having special national importance. In addition, there are two types of committees that convene only when needed: the Interpretations Committee, made up of the Speaker and eight members chosen by the House Committee, deals with appeals against the interpretation given by the Speaker during a sitting of the Prime Minister to the Parliament rules of procedure or precedents, and Public Committees, established to deal with issues that are connected to the Parliament.

It's more painful to me because those who divided us into South East and South South, sold the destructive idea to us and made us feel that we're stronger divided than one Eastern region did not divide themselves, they believe and hold on to a ONE and indivisible NORTH, it pains me most when I see them being the ones to suggest to me that I'm not a Biafran because I'm from Akwa Ibom state whereas I've never for once told them who are Ariwas and who aren't�

Igbos are like umbrellas to us, imagine us in Nigeria without the Igbos, we 'll be subdued and conquered without firing a shot, Igbos are taken the bullets for themselves and for us all.

In the history of freedom fighting, some slaves willingly accept freedom while some are begged to accept freedom, so begging, convincing us to accept freedom is better than giving the enemies reason to rejoice by leaving us behind, we all needs each other, we're stronger together �.
