The internet is not free and it is not for poor people living in poor countries, even using nairaland is not free, you pay lot of cash to use nairaland by subscribing to expensive internet data. If your data finishes, nairaland services is over for you.

How about if you have Netflix and showmax on your phone or other paying apps, then you pay double cost for using these apps, not only are you paying for these app subcriptions per year, you are also paying for data to use these apps, if your data finishes, you will not be able to access those apps you paid for.

Even the free apps like twitter aren't free, your data subscription is what you need to pay so that you can use those free apps and make money for the owners.

All these hidden costs are reasons why the internet penetration is low in poor countries, infact, even setting up the infrastructures are expensive talkless of usage, until when standards of living are improved before people living in poor countries will be able to enjoy the full benefits of using the internet.

For smart people, you have to make money off the internet to cover your internet cost that is the one of the ways of stay on the internet permanently.

Note: When people say the internet is your human right, i laugh, how can you be paying to use your " human right"

NLNG is majorly a gas storage, processing ,compressing and export facility.Its not mainly for extracting gas.Most of Nigerias gas fields empty into it for export, that's why it accounts for 7% of the worlds gas supply.

Nigeria has steadfastly refused to release data as the locations of its gas reserves and it's quantity per state.
some of the biggest known and proven gas fields are offshore delta and bayelsa.

The ohaji-egbema gas field being developed under the Assa North project (imo state) is among Nigerias biggest onshore gas gathering and forwarding facility- infact SEPLAT and NNPC are yet to truly know the gas reserves held in that field till the begin functioning.

The imo river gas field in Abia has been producing gas since it's inception in the 1960's or 70's (I think). It supplies gas to the industrial cluster in Aba and the Alaoji power plant.The fact it's been producing gas for over 30 years now and she'll recently pumped in millions of dollars to add over 20 km of new gas pipelines and a new processing facility at Aba means that ,that field is still very healthy and profitable.


Anambra estimated gas reserves comes from exploration carried out by orient petroleum few years ago.Even the NNPC now acknowledges that fact , so yes the SE have a large gas reserve
