it is a terrible thing that everyday nairaland is being besieged with a vast majority plethora of low intelligence quotient individuals who can't decipher simple issues. falana quoted sections of the constitution and even cited instances of similar case he has handled, while ozekhome was speaking grammar without references to support his arguments. please falana is extremely correct on this. If caution is not applied to the overzealousness of this senators and HOR members in the name of oversight functions ,one day they will start summoning their wife's on oversight functions. Imagine the oscillating bickering of the Senate and comptroller General of customs on just uniform issue!

I am flabbergasted to my bone marrow that the Nigeria police force are just realising that the peace corps are operating illegal training camps and extorting money from prospective applicants on the day the corps unveiled their new office complex.(same way they arrive crime scene after crime committal). That shows the gross incompetence and lackadaisical attitude exhibited by them which the corps is trying to subvert and the police feels intimidated. come to think of it if they are unlawfully assembled how come they waited until the senators, HOR, traditional rulers, religious leaders et cetera who graced the occasion and gave goodwill messages left the venue before they swooped on them. A police force that can't recruit a minute fraction of the unemployed youths in order to contribute their quota towards the security apparatus of the nation is disturbing another man who is trying to engaged them.

some Nigerians speak from both sides of the mouth. people are complaining of the high rate of unemployment in the country, someone is trying to create an avenue for a vast majority of the unemployed youths to be engaged, same people are still complaining of the raison de'tre of establishing the corps. If not cos of envy and jealousy what social, moral and economic justification does the police have that would warrant the arrest of the National commandant when they (police)can't recruit a minute fraction of the unemployed into the force.
