Good morning brothers. I am confused a bit in the visa my agent sent to me. It is stated as an employment visa and that I will work with the company who sponsored me for the visa. My fear is this, what if I travel to Dubai and found out that the sponsored company does not have job for me, that they were only used to get the work visa. Please, does such happen in Dubai? My agent told me that the sponsored company will be the one to pick me up at the airport if I land in Dubai airport. Is he telling me the truth? I believe we have people who know much more labour law in Dubai. Thanks in advance

The best thing for u now is too enter with the employment u gat and change job later cos of the money involved. And again getting teaching job anytime after August is kinda difficult cos school will resume by August 28th and no recruitment is done once they resume.

Thanks for your time.

Concentrate only on post dealing on working visa, visa change, and also they have discussed on teaching jobs too and the requirements and procedures, that's your best bet, remember it is a borrowed money you can't gamble on it bro, your decision must be well thought out

Thanks for your time and your advice

Let me start by saying there is nothing like when u come u will change to teaching. He isn't being sincere.
U must work with the company for Atleast 6months to be able to change job unless u wish to be banned if your employer is mean. My advice is. If u are desperate to leave. Then accept the offer and come and work. Then Wen u recover the money u used in travelling then u can start looking for another job at ur spare time cos if the company finds out u are looking for a job they will cancel u and na straight to naija. On-the other hand. If u are determined it's teaching u want and I hope u hv all the requirements not just talking about teaching. Then u tell him u don't want. Use 3 Months visa and enter and hustle your way out.

Thanks for this words of advice. I really appreciate. God bless you

There is nothing like transferring from a waiting job to a teaching role, you get what you see. He wanna scam you.

Thanks for your info. What if I don't want to pick the offer, do I have anything to loose? I don't want to enter U. A. E and start looking for job or be ducked up. This money is a borrowed money and I don't want to waste the money on something that is not clear to me. He told me I will use the company and come and when doing my work permit, it will be done with the teaching school. Please I need a clarification

Please, can someone explain this kind of Visa to me because I don't understand it. My agent told me that a teaching position is available that if I am interested I should pay 100,000 upfront payment that when the visa comes out I will pay the remaining 650.000 making it a total of 700,000 for a work visa. He sent me this page and I saw waiter on it and I ask him why waiter instead of a teacher he told me and he said I will use this visa and come in first then I will transfer to the teaching job. I am ment to pay him the balance this week. Please I am really confused and what do you guys suggest I do. Thanks

mine is since December.. if after this month nothing happens am going for refund

Since December? That sounds weird. Is it how it last or it depends on an agent? Mine, told me that mine wouldn't last upto 2 months. My fingers are closed waiting for the outcome.

6months, I have waited enough. I have taken a decision to get my money back

That really a long time indeed. If it worth waiting for, why not give it a little time. Mine has just lasted one month and I am still hopeful. Wait a little longer and see how it goes. Collecting your money now doesn't worth it. More patient and you will get it. I wish you the best of the outcome soon.

Is there any way I can verify if is teaching job or not when the work Visa is out? Please someone should guild me so that I will not be ripped off my heard earned money. He told me that the school will provide me with accommodation and be paying me 3000 dirham. Thanks for your informed suggestion.

I can only say a little about teaching jobs, the criteria and other things involved. I know some started as teacher assistant and later upgraded themselves with proper certifications... the blacks I know teaching in colleges, most studied in Malaysia, UK and the likes. But for proper answer to your question I asked from AIUgroup as there are Nigerian teachers to give detailed info there.

See below response;

The rule for teaching job is strict now.
No standard school in UAE will employ any new teacher without teaching qualifications.
If you have just Bsc, you should do a PGDE in Nigeria and then attest your documents before coming to search for teaching job. When you get here , you will still have to submit you documents in ministry of education for equivalency which may take months to be put because they have to confirm the genuity of your results from your local schools.
Thanks to the soon to start 6months visa, if not it is almost impossible to get a teaching job with 3months visa.
NB: I don't know of other schools with no standard sha o. Maybe they may take those with Bsc in specific fields. .
Again , exactly what you study is what you are expected to be teaching. Like if you have Bsc in math, you will only get to teach math.
Again , schools mostly ask of at least 2years of teaching experience.

Thank you for your explanations... I know of a friend who his work Visa is on going for a teaching position . He has only B.A in Religious Studies and two years of Primary School teacher as well as 2+ years in secondary school teaching. He has submitted his documents and his work visa is already in process. He was told he will be teaching in a primary school and the school will offer him an accommodation. Do you think he is in line to getting the job or he will be rejected when he gets his visa and goes over to UAE? What is his chances of getting the teaching job since he had his undergraduate in Nigeria. Thank you

I goes a long way to determine how you trust him. Is 150k all you gonna pay him? No CV? No Medical report from Federal Hospital?

My Gione M5 had a crack on the touch screen and it has been working fine not until yesterday it went blank but I can pick call and hear the sound of incoming messages and calls. I changed the screen but my problem now is that the phone comes on and when it optimized, the screen can not come on again but the sensor light keep on deeming. Some times it will come on like in the next 45 minutes. Right now as I write this, the screen is still blank without coming on but calls and messages do enter the phone. What will I do please.
