PRESS RELEASE

Our attention has been drawn to a false news being orchestrated by some people within the government quarters, ably led by the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Taiwo Adeoluwa, claiming that Prince Dapo Abiodun's name has been substituted for that of their aspirant, Hon Akinlade as the gubernatorial candidate of APC in Ogun State.

This is nothing but a ruse and falsity as there is no iota of truth in such claim.

Till date, Prince Dapo Abiodun remains the authentic, genuine and officially recognized APC Governorship Candidate in Ogun State as proclaimed by the NWC of our great party, having emerged as winner, during the October 3rd, 2018 governorship primary election.

The general public should kindly disregard this blatant lie and not be confused by agents of misinformation whose major preoccupation is to cause unnecessary panic amongst party members and concerned individuals across the state and Nigeria.

Nobody can upturn what has been validly established by constituted authorities of our great party. People should disregard the monumental lie flying around town.

Signed
Emmanuel Ojo
Media Director,
Dapo Abiodun Campaign Organization - DACO.

I am sure Cripple A is even tired of the whole thing...
What you don't know is that Amosun stepped on lot of toes both within and outside the state..
The goal is to see him lose power..

Most of the high chiefs in Egba are just waiting for him and his brother (Alhaji Agba) to self-destructive which they have done.

Even Yinka Made who posted on Facebook that he will follow Amosun anywhere had to delete the post.

So Amosun despite using the tenure reserved for Yewa by OGD is a friend.

Okay ooo, I hear you.
With his structure and power as a sitting Governor, why is he finding his stay in APC uncomfortable?

Dipo Dina that came a distant third in the election in 2007? Osoba that has no Political relevance in Ogun State? Osoba that couldn't even his polling unit when he decamped to SDP In 2015 .

In 2011, Amosun was the Popular choice, he had his own structure. .it was more of a symbiotic relationship between Amosun and Tinubu.. Tinubu wanted a Popular candidate that could help win Ogun State.
Oga, you know nothing...
Claiming Amosun had his structure?
Which structure, built by who?
If Dipo didn't die, Amosun won't have been in ACN and he won't have won.

Let him go to Accord and test his popularity there.

Left to me, I think Dapo Abiodun needs Amosun more than Amosun needs him...because most of those in his corner so far are serial losers (they all lost out in various elective posts in 2015)...they can hardly help anyone win an House of Assembly election, not to talk of Governorship...d likes of Osoba are done politically.

If Amosun exits APC, APC won't win Ogun Guber next year...Amosun's new party will even have more chance of clinching it...provided he is not betrayed by those in his camp right now...or it might even play in GNI's favour if he plays his cards right.

Que sera sera, but as for me and my household o...there is no way on earth we are voting an Ogun East person...It's either Triple A or GNI...13 votes should count for something.
Guy, you so much believe in this Amosun, I told you the other time it's OVER for him.
It's a thing of Efun ati Edi.
It's spiritual.
His stubbornness and greed caused this.
He chased Yayi, Osoba, Kaka, Tinubu away, he wanted to become kingmaker.
Remember PPN of Daniel, same fate awaits him.

Even some of his consensus candidates and core supporters have said they won't leave APC.

Accord Party, I dey laff oooo.

All I know is Amosun's successor will not win come 2019, any other party should but not Mr Mavrodi.

This is how China started.

The whole world, including Europe use to mock China for producing fake things but they didn't know they were learning and trying to perfect their skills.

Today, the whole of Europe, America, Canada, Australia, Middleast and Africa rely on China for their daily needs.

All Igbo guys need is the enabling environment and favorable government policies to make business startup capital and investment fund available to them at feasible rate and just a matter of time, they will make Africa and black race proud.

Go to Niger Delta, they have built crude and local functional refineries producing quality petrol and gasoline products that our so called government cannot produce in several decades.

In as much as this is a crime, I want us to look beyond tribe and nepotism and see the creativity in Igbo people and find a way to harness it for our national good.

I know this is impossible, so let me join others and scream: JAIL HIM!! angry
So you are justifying evil.
This is meant to be consumed by people, who will probably end up sick.

The OP is stupid,he feels every one is gullible like him.Since Nigeria returned to democracy in 1999, Oyo has had a new leader, every four years. Dr Lam Adesina won the first election that year, but he was replaced four years later by Rashidi Ladoja. Although Ladoja had political troubles which led to a temporary impeachment (that lasted for almost a year before he was reinstated), it was clear he was not going to win a second term as the Ibadan people could not ‘serve a leader’ twice. Ladoja’s successor, Alao Akala also lasted one term. Not until they elected Ajimobi!!!
Very stupid write-up.

Definitely a red flag. You have simply liquidated your fixed deposit for visa application and you’re likely to be refused. You only need to support your bank account statement with your fixed deposit certificate and a letter of confirmation from your bank that the money will be avaliable to you at short notice. Then explain in a cover letter how you raised the fund for the fixed deposit.
Thanks for the response...
How about making use of my wife's account which has the deposit has the main account for the trip however I am not a signatory to the acct as my wife is the sole-signatory.

Good day,

I intend travelling to the UK with my wife and kid of 10 months for 7 days.

My wife owns her business which is duly registered in her maiden name.

We have been married for 6 years and intend making the trip as an honeymoon we have longed for.

I work in a bank and earn N5.3 mill per annum (over 9 years).
My salary account balance is low at the moment as I do transfer most of my funds to my wife and mum's account for savings as fixed deposit.
I intend transferring the deposit (3.5mill) upon maturity to my salary account and present to the embassy.
I hope this won't raise a red flag.

Am sure Amosun is even begging to get the senatorial seat now...
The force against him withing APC is massive...
Osoba, Osinbajo, Tinubu, Tejuoso, Yayi.
Even his commissioners - Ashiru and Afolabi are against him.

He killed the Yewa dream with his greed.

What stopped him from nominating Governor, allow Osoba to select Deputy..
Then share other posts within the other stakeholders.

He wanted to turn himself to Jagaban of Ogun politics, he should have seen the precedence before him.

I heard he is still lobbying Buhari...

Mrblaster:
Watch all those clamoring for dapo candidacy, most of them are ijebus. Let's leave sentiment aside no governor has beaten amosun in terms of achievements in ogun state not even onabanjo. The tribalistic politics in ogun state today was introduced by onabanjo, an ijebu son. And if not for the smartness of obj to bring the state capital to abeokuta through the back door, they already wanted it at ikenne. Amosun ain't perfect and he has his shortcomings too in folds but he's an upgrade to what we've been having before. Dapo Abiodun, after losing 2015 election withdrew all the buses he bought for the party. Who does that? And he left for over 3 years not even concerned about what happen in the party only to now appear from thin air. Don't be deceived, this is the best opportunity for GNI. Wonders will happen next year and APC won't find it funny. Tinubu is fast losing relevance and people don't seem to read the line . You will all know the real color of buhari if he win the second term. Let them go to primary and slug it out. Why NWC was busy postponing the primaries for 2 times before Ogun APC conducted the election with inec officials present. Amosun might be bad but he have a valid point with his argument. You can't just announce the winner without due diligence from the state party. Is that what APC as a party stand for? If APC should go on with dapo Abiodun, the election will favor GNI. Mark my word... And also remember that all politics is local and more so, loyalty is the blood of politics globally.
Let it favour anyone but not Amosun's anointed.

I don't have a favorite, anybody but the greedy man's candidate.

The tussle for State capital was between Obasanjo and Awolowo.. Awolowo wanted his town, Ikenne to be the capital.

You say Amosun wants everything for the Egbas, lol.. Amosun has not even done anything yet.

80% of Ogun state tertiary institutions are in Ijebu land, the two State University are in Ijebu land.

When Ogun State was picked as part of the state to host 2009 Under 17 World Cup. .gbenga Daniel took it to ijebu ode neglecting the state capital.

The problem with most of you ijebus is that you don't know that Abeokuta being the state capital makes it vital to the state than ijebu towns. Those who have been able to grab this fact are the ones agita.
How many bridges did he construct/constructing in Abeokuta?
Including 2 useless ones at kuto and elega areas?
