His political views just yesterday confirmed what I wrote about his and that of the general Igbo ambition in Nigeria's political space.

I have always maintained that igbos are totally against an unbundling of the wasteful and cumbersome centrist arrangement which puts the Federal govt above States. Why would they when they are the architects of it.

Obi just reinforced my instincts when in an interview he granted just yesterday stated that he has no problem with the highly flawed 1999 constitution albiet that of the current centrist arrangement.

This is not new as igbos have never for once voiced out against our current highly unfair system by not joining voices with other nationals in the south for a return to true fiscal autonomy for states. Or have you heard one Igbo politician voice out in agreement for the need to restructure Nigeria? Never!

Only the peoples of the SW and the cheated and marginalized SS whose resources are used to feed this nation are behind the call for restructuring .

So how in God's name does Peter Obi hope to reform Nigeria when he is very OK with the very arrangement that has impeded her progress? .

According to Obi, Nigeria lacks leadership and he is that unproven leader to lead us to greatness without for once presenting solutions to how he intends to go about it under the very bad faulty foundation the nation rests on in the form of the 1999 constitution.

Peter Obi is a charlatan and represents the call for an Igbo presidency only.

He does not represent the majority southern views and aspirations as we can see with his endorsement of the 1999 Constitution and thus does not represent the clamour for the presidency to return to a true south.

His ambitions do not also represent that of Christians in Nigeria but rather he is seeking to exploit this in a very shameful manner as part of his political ambitions.

So what or whom does Peter Obi represent?

He represents first and foremost a continuation of the disastrous 1999 Constitution enabled arrangement which in turn is beneficial and of extreme importance to the sustainability of his SE region.

I have people who work in Anambra airport and up till this moment , there is no runway lightning, localizer beacon, VOR or glideslope .

The airport is categorised for VFR (Visual flight Rules) flights only owing to lack of these critical equipment listed.

It is at best a landing strip with a terminal hall.

Enugu airport is the only airport fully upgraded to handle international flights of limited specification.

Anambra airport remains a landing strip.

Anambra international airport has water treatment plant, tallest control tower, aviobridges, etc, while tanker water supply is still the main source of water supply at enugu airport. It is better they use Enugu Airport. NDLEA is not allowing boys to rest at M/M Airport, Lagos. Those NDLEA and even workers at MM , Lagos, immediately they announce arrival of flight from Ethopia, there is drug consciousness.

The FG has designated Enugu Airport as an international airport and had so far upgraded facilities and security in the airport to meet up to international flight standards


Ethiopian Airline was allotted slots to operate several days in a week.

The issue here is Ethiopian airlines complaining of a significant drop in passenger traffic from Enugu while experiencing growth in Lagos, PHC and Abuja which they noticed is mostly as a result of Igbo passengers preferring to use these airports rather than Enugu.

This is costing Ethiopian airlines money as they have paid for the route but are not seeing passengers which they used to enjoy.

The question now to ask is why are igbos not using the airport?

As I highlighted in this thread there are several factors which are:

1. Those who can afford to travel are residing outside the east or have relocated owing to the growing insecurity .

2. The activities of Igbo drug peddlers has made travelling to Enugu very hectic when passing through security checks as every intended passenger is treated as a suspect and subjected to rigorous searches.

The Anambra International Airport in Umueri, Anambra state and the upcoming Ebonyi International Airport have put a serious dent on customer traffic at the Enugu Airport hence the mgt of Ethiopian Airlines begging people to use Enugu.

Those airports you mentioned are mere landing strips which do not even have runway lightning in place talk more of sophisticated landing aids.

No international airline can land on these runway strips even in an emergency owing to their insurance clauses that permit them to operate only in Category A airports.

So until they put the right ILS systems in place and improve on security and get an upgrade from NCAA and ICAOO , no single international airliner will land or operate from there.

Kano Airport on the other hand has all the infrastructure, but western airlines have been banned by their insurance from operating I'm and out of Kano over security threats from radical Islamist groups. So you won't find one single western Airline operating in and out of Kano but only middle eastern, Turkish airlines
