If you have hormonal issues or irregular cycle then your LMP can't be used to determine the foetal age, only ultrasound can.
They can't tell you have a small baby just by measuring your bump, a scan will reveal the closest to the real age/weight.
Some people also bleed till they deliver their baby.
No one here can prescribe a pill or injections to stop the bleeding. Only your doctor can.

thks alot dear, he examined my tummy and calculate from my lmp, that was how he comes up with the fetus age, though the spotting was not much, since it's a normal issue, let me relax my mind and go for the scan.

The info u are giving is a little confusing? Like Zaynie asked, how did they know the fetus was "small"? There is no competent doctor that works with LMP alone, but in addition to early ultrasound scan.
If ur case is being treated as an high risk pregnancy, I see no reason why ur appointment was reschedule to a later date, time or no time, 1st things come 1st.
On the other hand there are "lots" of women who bleed through their entire pregnancy and birth healthy babies.
I'd say you look for a proactive Doctor Who can tell u if it's possible to stop the bleeding or not and if it's worth the worries!
The explanations of carrying part term don't add up 4 me o!

[/quote From the date of my last menstrual flow till now is 22 weeks, I was told that due to the spotting issue I may cross 9 months unless its stop now, and I was sent to untrasound to verify further, but due to time factor, I was reschedule for next appointment. I want the spotting to stop before going for the scan. and am here to know if there is any drugs or injection that i can take to stop the spotting. thks

Pls am 22 weeks gone and still spotting (lighter in flow than a menstrual period) for 6 months now, never knew I was pregnant till I start showing. after I was examined yesterday, I was told that the fetus is small and i may not give birth at nine months due to the spotting issue. Pls those anybody here knows the drug that can stop the spotting or anyone that has exprienced what am passing thru, pls tell me I need solution.

Am here to thank God for granting me successful myomictomy sugery , (fibroid of the uterus) previously i came on this forum to solicit for the best option to eliminate the fibroid, picked advised of few people here, courageously i went for the sugery and God saw me through, no complication, returned back to my office duty 8 days after sugery and every other duties too.
