Kitchen tiles looks dull..you killed this building but no dissapoint us with poor interior finishing..more grace to your works..
I dnt see anything wrong with the choice of kitchen tile. Not everyone likes unnecessary bright colors. Whereas the choice of tiles is the owners buisness not yours. The important thing is for it to be laid perfectly. Those tiles dnt look cheap. Anyway am waiting to see how spyder will finish this house too.

With a mentality like yours, that is why nigerians will continue to suffer. Atleast he was able to stand and speak out against injustice and corruption. While fools like you hide behind their phones to type rubbish.

Lionheart still remains the bullet that made the most impact in the Nigerian movie industry& Africa scene at large.
Genevieve nnaji woke the creative minds that were asleep. Demonstrated patriotism using Nigerians made cars and extracts, best casts and talents.
The movie garnered more than what was expected.
Being her first directed play on screen and at that made such exploit; Lionheart deserves Oscar and other noble awards.
Nollywood is no longer a joke industry. Directors are now woke. They now know there are standards.
I expect more from them. But then, let appreciate & applaud Lionheart irrespective of your tribe. Like it or leave it, history was made by Genevieve nnaji cool kiss
You sure do have very low standards.

I hit play on YouTube hoping it was just another regular struggle struggle song like before. I was about to get on the journal square train when the song started playing.

I had to step back out of the train because I was not ready to be interrupted by loss of signal.

Listened to it twice before getting on the next train.

This song is a jam mehn, effortless, no nudity, no violence, just happiness.
The most important thing is no nudity. Am sick and tired of seeing these amoral girls everywhere. I think most people with bad music wants to hide behind soft porn to sell.

Nigerian youths are the reason nigeria will remain the way it is. Why dont we give this guy a chance instead of recycling the same criminals. Look at Ghana today.

FamilyRe: I’m Suspecting My Wife by nunnu: 4:40pm On Sep 23, 2019
You are just a sick and insecure bastard.
Samolaogun:
So I got married to my wife 10 years ago. She was 24 at the time and now we are blessed with 2 kids. My wife has always been one of those self centred all about her looks type of person but I just ignored it and saw the good side of it. After two kids and at 34 my wife still looks very good, I guess that’s one of the perks of marrying young.

But one thing I noticed is that when she was pregnant with our first son all she ever talked about from day one was getting back in shape and losing weight, she was never excited about being a mother or bringing life into the world. Well She’s maintained her shape and when you look at her you will think she’s 25/26. I’m grateful for that however

Now the downside of this is that she gets a lot of Male attention which she entertains and I’m not comfortable with. On her instagram she’s following a lot of males which I’m not comfortable with.

I addressed it to her and she complains I’m being paranoid that they are school friends. When she goes out with her friends she’s always over dressing and looking seductive almost like a single lady looking for toasters.

She’s that over friendly type of woman, always on her phone, likes to do too much shakara and it’s just starting to irritate me. I checked her phone last week and theres one guy that keeps on addressing her as ‘love’. I’ve not addressed it to her yet because I’m waiting to catch her red handed so she will not be able to come up with any flimsy excuse.

One day when her and her friends came to my house to meet up for a birthday party, they all dressed like a bunch of ashewos. The following day we got into a huge argument because I warned her to never try that again.

She is still stubborn and she hasn’t changed. Im fed up of her attitude I’m thinking of separating from this woman before she gives me high blood pressure. She’s not a homely wife at all. All she wanna do is go out, to even attend to the kids effectively is now becoming a problem. I’m tired.
RomanceRe: Osu-Caste System Is Taking The Love Of My Life Away From Me. by nunnu: 4:37pm On Sep 23, 2019
WHO PARENTAL BLESSING HELP. THE MAN MY PARENTS CHOOSE FOR ME NEARLY ENDED MY LIFE. ABEG COMMOT FOR ROAD.
madridsta007:
I hope you would take the pragmatic and logical decision and not the emotive decision.
We can only talk and pretend about so many things. As Igbos what happens online isn't the reality off-line.

Marrying her means that you will not (1) Recieve the parental blessings that come with marriage when ones parents are alive (2) Dishonour your parents (3) An excommunication between you and your entire family (4) will lead to children whom the community will ostracise as "Osu". Marriage goes beyond the euphoria and excitement of the single day of wedding; you will still have to deal with your family, community, kinsmen, clan, etc. For all the days of your life.

Not marrying her will mean, (1) Heartbreak for both of you and, if managed properly will mean (2) both of you will STILL get married to other partners and families which are in the same religious and community ideology as your families.

This is just the simple analysis.

In the end, she gets married to someone/ a family that accepts her and in the end, you get married to someone your family accepts. You are Igbo. You should know that beyond what is romanticised online, family and family acceptance is a big, big, big thing. Unless you want to pretend to yourself.

Christopherrrr:
Hello Nairalanders, greetings. My name is Christopher (pseudonym) from the Eastern part of the country, Imo State to be precise. I'm a man in his early 30's. I have an active account here but I had to sign-up for another account for this thread.
Please pardon my grammatical errors and blunders. MOD please help move to FP.

Few months back, I fell in love with a pretty lady with a beautiful soul. She is 28. Though we are running a long distance relationship but the current in the communication link can power Kanji Dam. Lol!! We can be on calls for hours since the very day I met her. There is a fair share of the feelings, affections, respect and regard for each other. It's not one-sided. Though we have been opportune to be together thrice since the past 10months we met. I have had plans to go about engagement and marriage arrangements this coming festive period though I haven't made this known to her.

She gives me joy, she gives me happiness, she prays for me, she blesses me. There is a part of me she unraveled that I never believed existed. Above all, she gives me peace of mind.

Are you kidding me? After gushing about your love for her, you are easily letting her go because of one stupid tradition. Well maybe you don't even deserve her. My brother married a so called osu and they have been leaving happily for over 20 yrs. Stupid tradition. Is your loss my friend.

Fast forward to last month, I invited her to a family event. I introduced her to my family as my girlfriend. Instantly everyone fell in love with her. My mum was allover her and she was indeed up and doing. She didn't disappoint me. Not pretence, she has a good home training.

When she left same day after the event, my mum proclaimed her love for her. She said, "Olee ebe isi choota udi nwa nke a?" (Where did you find this kinda girl from?). This made me drop a tear of joy thereafter because I've always prayed for such from her any day I introduce a lady to her. This also happens to be my first time.

Fast forward again to 2weeks later, my dad requested I confirm her community and kindred properly because we happen to come from the same LGA. I didn't even know they have started making inquiries for me even before I asked them to. I confirmed from her and informed my dad. Only for them (my parents) to break the news to me days later that we can't marry from their kindred because they are regarded as Out-Casts (Osu-Cast System). Right now, I can't contend my heartbreak. I'm so devastated and confused.

This has been a long-term tradition that has been for centuries that I don't think it's in my capabilities to do away with it or do otherwise.

My problem now is how do I break the news to her for a breakup because we can't continue like this.

I have never ceased to love her less since the very day I learnt of this. In fact, she gives me reasons to love, cherish and adore her every single day. I still do that to the brim and don't have regrets. Quote me, her type is rare. I love this girl with every breath I take. I just cry myself to sleep every night after our long calls.

Please advise a brother because I'm in a deep state of dilemma.

Bla bla bla. Leave women alone. Our matter to Dey sweet for una mouth. Have men not done worse? Maybe you should have written this essay on Obi Franklin , or 2face, or wiz kid since they are promoting good things in society . Women this , Women that. Live us alone. Face your front. All that you have to tell us we have heard before. Thanks.
More emphasis are on women because they are the ones bringing up our children. What will a morally bankrupt mother instill in her children. Then multiply it with 100 women and so on. Imagine what that community will be like. Before you say what about the fathers, remember nature has made mothers primarily for raising their kids.

Please you guys should stop this nonsense about tithing. No body is going to hell because they did not tithe instead you will go to hell for not helping the poor.I never tithe but I always make sure I help people in need. And believe me I have never asked God for something that was good for me that he did not do for me. I mean just asking privately in my prayers not any pastors praying for me.]
