A friend on Palmchat is in a diliemma. He is about o get married to a girl that has the same Genotype with him(AS). He seems to be so in love now but when the trouble of having a sickle cell(SS) child sets in, all of the love will fade away and be replaced with regret and guilt. I have been trying my best to talk him out of making this mistake, as i have a first hand experience of being around a sickle cell anemia friend who has now lost her life in this battle. I also told him that it was possible that the prophet was a fake, but he has refused to listen to me. So i decided to bring this matter here, this is my opinion though. Am i just being paranoid or is he truly making the biggest mistake of his life. Please i need your opinion as it can influence his or my decision.

pls I strongly advise against it,I nursed a family that lost 4 kids this year and d painful part is that d crisis kills when they are abt to graduate.I watched and saw d agony on d mothers face and she kept verbalizing how she killed all her kids n right now its only d son who is AA that is still alive.To be frank with u d struggle is for real.My cousin is also SS n I know d millions we have spent on her.Anyway I hv a colleague in nursing who is still alive and strong,But why put innocent kids through all this suffering just becos u let ur emotion becloud ur judgement .SMH

My bad experience with drugs was the day i was to be operated for appendice, after the Dr gave me that injection, instead of passing out, i was just feeling the trips! Dr began asking me some questions so that if i misyarn, he'll know that the drug has taken its effect.


But to his great shock, i was replying him well and normal. This thing happened so because my system is already used to hard drugs in overdose.

Please nairalanders do not ever take any of this drugs in the name of fun. Once you taste them, you won't be happy any day you don't take.

Hello fellow Nairalander, I'm boiling right now and I need some help and advice from you guyz.

I found out that my acclaimed gf has been deleting and clearing all our conversations. I find out when I visited her in her room, she told me she has sent me message earlier which I told her I haven't seen. So when she went to have her bath, I switched on my Hotspot and connected to her phone to see d message she sent to me,I discovered she doesn't keep our conversation while other conversations is being kept. I was very surprised and beginning to wonder why? But I haven't asked her why she did that. The most painful of it is all d messages have been sending to her are romantic and normal bf/gf chats.
