Romance / Timeless Advice For Those Seeking To Marry Rich Guys. by nuslock(f): 10:38am On Oct 02, 2014 |
I saw this online and decide to share since most ladies now want to marry a rich guy who can bear all their expenses. This is an eye- opener. The following is what a woman posted on a dating forum seeking a rich husband: I’m going to be honest of what I’m going to say here. I’m 25 this year. I’m very pretty, have style and good taste. I wish to marry a guy with $500k annual salary or above. You might say that I’m greedy, but an annual salary of $1M is considered only as middle class in New York. My requirement is not high. Is there anyone in this forum who has an income of $500k annual salary? Are you all married? I wanted to ask: what should I do to marry rich persons like you? Among those I’ve dated, the richest is $250k annual income, and it seems that this is my upper limit. If someone is going to move into high cost residential area on the west of New York City Garden(?), $250k annual income is not enough. I’m here humbly to ask a few questions: 1) Where do most rich bachelors hang out? (Please list down the names and addresses of bars, restaurant, gym) 2) Which age group should I target? 3) Why most wives of the riches are only average-looking? I’ve met a few girls who don’t have looks and are not interesting, but they are able to marry rich guys. 4) How do you decide who can be your wife, and who can only be your girlfriend? (my target now is to get married) Ms. Pretty A philosophical reply from CEO of J.P. Morgan below: Dear Ms. Pretty, I have read your post with great interest. Guess there are lots of girls out there who have similar questions like yours. Please allow me to analyse your situation as a professional investor. My annual income is more than $500k, which meets your requirement, so I hope everyone believes that I’m not wasting time here. From the standpoint of a business person, it is a bad decision to marry you. The answer is very simple, so let me explain. Put the details aside, what you’re trying to do is an exchange of “beauty” and “money” : Person A provides beauty, and Person B pays for it, fair and square. However, there’s a deadly problem here, your beauty will fade, but my money will not be gone without any good reason. The fact is, my income might increase from year to year, but you can’t be prettier year after year. Hence from the viewpoint of economics, I am an appreciation asset, and you are a depreciation asset. It’s not just normal depreciation, but exponential depreciation. If that is your only asset, your value will be much worse 10 years later. By the terms we use in Wall Street, every trading has a position, dating with you is also a “trading position”. If the trade value dropped we will sell it and it is not a good idea to keep it for long term – same goes with the marriage that you wanted. It might be cruel to say this, but in order to make a wiser decision any assets with great depreciation value will be sold or “leased”. Anyone with over $500k annual income is not a fool; we would only date you, but will not marry you. I would advice that you forget looking for any clues to marry a rich guy. And by the way, you could make yourself to become a rich person with $500k annual income. This has better chance than finding a rich fool. Hope this reply helps. signed, J.P. Politics / 2.2 Billion Naira Hall by nuslock(f): 9:19pm On Nov 29, 2012 |
I saw this on Facebook and thought to post it on NL. Lara Wise 2 Billion Naira!!! 2 Billion Naira!!!! A whopping 2 Billion Naira Wao!!! I hear the villa needs a new banquet hall and it will cost you, me and all tax payers, a staggering 2 billion Naira to get that ready. Brilliant!!! I know the one currently being used is so fabulous... I have seen the chandeliers and decorations and interior...simply breath-taking! The reason why we need a new banquet hall, according to (who says?) is because the present banquet hall is a bit far from the President's house and office. They say it is about 2 kilometers (in a regal-chauffeured ride) to the banquet hall and this is not too, well, convenient for the President and so a new one has to be built very close for his convenience. This will gulp N2 billion... Please give me N2 billion ...AND... No child in my village will be out of school No woman in my village will die at child birth No tap will lack portable water No road will be impassable No police post will lack security gadgets No hospital will be ill-equipped No youth will be unemployed No farmer will lack the tool of business No child, no adult will die of communicable disease Their will be sports arena There will be fun spots There will be... ...2 billion Naira to do these and then, some more... Mr. President, please lets set our priorities right sir. There is so much that amount of money can do for the people who trusted you to do that and much more for them. 2 billion Naira oh common!!!!! PLEASE NO INSULTS, NO ABUSIVE WORDS. WE MUST RESPECT THE OFFICE OF OUR DEAR PRESIDENT EVEN AS WE CONSTRUCTIVELY CRITICIZE WHAT WE SEE AS EXCESSES. THANK YOU |

Another lefty in the house. The bible even recognises this fact. Check out Judges 3:15. It is really shocking most time when I get to meet Semi-Demi literate people who insist I change my hand when handling things over. I was almost turned a dullard when my mum insisted I change my hand luck smiled on my grades when my granpa kicked against it. It calls for a total re branding of d brain. Lefties are just one in a million. |

Nairaland / General / Igbo Vs Yoruba Ethnic Bigotry by nuslock(f): 12:57am On May 13, 2011 |
I have been a guest on NL for a long time before I decided to join the forum. Am amazed by the level of ethnic bigot we have on the forum. It amazes me that a very good topic will be turned to an ethnic issue. I am a Yoruba lady and love been Yoruba but that does not make me hate any other tribes. Things we love most about our culture and tribe are sometimes so loathe by another tribe. Please let us stop all ethnocentric behaviour and believe in the oneness of our dear Naija. |
