Fill another DS 160, go to cyber cafe and give them the required size of the passport, they will resize your passport to the required size, you will then upload it in your DS 160 and fill the form again and submit. You will then go to your visa application profile and update it by changing your DS 160 reg no.

All the Federal universities in Nigeria are shut down due to the fact that all the staffs in the Federal universities are on strike (ASUU, NASU, SSANU and NAAT are on strike), so you cannot get any transcript from any Federal university now.

What he (and you) said isn’t correct. You are not the visa officer, how did you know that they had “all the requirements”? Are you privy to their notes somehow?

In December 2021, there was massive denial of visa. Most of the people that go to the embassy with mpower loan was denied visa for no other reason rather than the loan ( without any scholarship) but few people receive their visa with that so it is luck/grace that make them to succeed because almost all of them have the same profile.

What he said is correct, I know some people that have all the requirements and their visa was denied. Some of these denial was because of some forces that is following them which they don't know anything about it, it may be the idols their father and their grandfather worship but due to the fact they are Christians they don't worship them, the idol can be the forces because it need the meat that their father and their grandfather are killing for them when they are alive.

If your school is not in the list of schools that mpower accepted for student loan you can check prodigy finance to know if your school is in their own list because both mpower financing and prodigy finance are not considering any school that is not in their list.

A PhD student can be offer a loan two years to graduation only. Mpower will not give a PhD student loan at the initial stage of the PhD of the study.

Yes, I reached out to ask if he had funding to support new graduate students and showed him how my research interest aligned with his. Before I was offered the admission. I did some research on schools that were doing good work in my research area and reached out to faculties of those schools. Cold email technique.

I recently got admitted to and have accepted a fully-funded PhD offer at the department of geographical sciences, University of Maryland, college park, to resume by Fall 2022. I'd like to connect with anybody going to UMCP this year. I applied to 4 schools - (without writing GRE or IELTS), 3 - in the US, and 1 in Hong kong. that is, University of Alabama, University of Illinois, Urbana champaign, and University of Maryland. In HK I applied to PolyU. I got an admit in HK but UMD's admission came early so I declined it. I got a reject from UIUC early January, due to the unavailability of funds for RA or TA and UAB is still making their decision. However, UMD was top in my choice list, I really like the program there and I've had a really good correspondence with my advisor. So I accepted the offer immediately and I'm currently reading up on some topics my advisor hinted I would be working on when I resume as RA in the lab by August.

Do you contact a supervisor before getting the full funding. How do you get the professor you are discussing about his work, is it after getting admission or before getting admission.

Am asking that do we compress all this Files as One to Upload in this section or how do we go about uploading all this documents in just that one upload space.

Please what serves as proof of fund is your statement of account and that of your sponsor including your study with pay letter if available. The landed properties serves as home ties. Other documents serves as supporting documents and it will be in the client information including the home tie. Upload them in their upload section. The proof of fund has its own section and also the client information has its own section.

Note that CBN only sells USD for this purpose. However, the bank purchases the USD from you and remit in the currency on your invoice. In this case CAD.

I used form A in mid January, as at then USD rate from the CBN was 395.50 and CAD equivalent was 316.46. However as at yesterday CBN USD rate was 412 and dollar equivalent was 330. So I guess it's fair.

First Bank just collect 339 naira for 1canadian dollar from my account through form A payment. Please house how much is CBN rate for 1canadian dollar now so that I will know what to do next. Is there anybody that pay through form A recently, if yes please how much did the bank charge you.
