forgiveness: What about Sacred heart road and the adjoining streets?
What about powerline and Ariaria road?
Do you think you are talking to novice?
As I said, it seems it is long you left Aba, as at June, the road you mentioned was undergoing reconstruction.
Let's wait and see the finished work. I did not say all roads in Aba are perfect, but I am sure most of them have been reconstructed and many are undergoing reconstruction
I can say without a doubt that he has done lots of roads compared to any Governor in SE, but like I said, he is grossly underreported.
The reconstruction of these roads is bringing Aba back to life, cause when these roads are reconstructed, property owners normally renovate and rent their buildings as seen in the last pics.
forgiveness: You can only tell that to ignoramus who doesn't know Faulks road, Omuma road, Aba - Owerri road, Azikwe etc.
Inside Aba na potopoto.
THis is Azikiwe Road.
First Pics is how it was before (yes u are right, it was bad)
THe road was commissioned last 2 weeks ago.
So update yourself
Ikpazu may not carrry all the media in Nigeria to commission roads as some governors do, but the man is working and grossly misrepresented by the media

I've always said that many of your that comes online and talk trash about Aba are usually misinformed and misguided.
Apart from faulks road which was actually constructed before but failed in some portion (less than 1 Km) and is being reconstructed. All the other roads you mentioned have been reconstructed by Ikpeazu and are in Good shape.
EndsarsReloaded: In as much as I don't like getting involved in such dick measuring threads, I still couldn't overlook your unreasonable post.
Firstly, you're equating quoted budget figures as yardstick for measuring development, are you for real? Do you know how dumb that sounds?
Now let me show you, Ayade of Cross River State once budgeted over 1 trillion naira as annual budget! Quick questions: Did Ayade ever realize that crazy amount? Where are the projects he executed in Cross River? Yet he didn't even achieve up 5% of what Umahi with 200 billion naira budget did!
What about Delta and Bayelsa, each of them always budget humongous amounts annually, so can you list the projects they executed with such amounts?
You think it's about budget? No! It's about prudence, planning, priority, being less corrupt etc. Have you seen the airports built by Ekiti and Ogun despite the so-called huge budgets? Can you compare them in anyway to the ones built by Anambra and Ebonyi?
Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state has been harrased and thoroughly humiliated by Igbos over "poor performance" yet I can bet you he did much better than most SW governors. You can pick Osun or Ekiti and less compare with Abia if you want to argue!
I think the issue is both cultural and ideological. Igbos don't mind disgracing their governors openly if they believe he is not performing well. They will constantly benchmark their governors against the best governors elsewhere. But unlike the SW, they will rather suffer in silence than allow others know about their sorry situation. Again, culturally, while Igbos won't hesitate to confront their leaders for not performing optimally, Yorubas would rather 'dobale' for their own leaders even when they are performing terribly. A case in point is the scandalous amount the new governor of Osun State is accusing his predecessor for mismanaging. Up till now, there is no outrage among Yorubas. However, had it been this happened in SE, by now, everyone will be calling out the past governor for being a rogue and why EFCC should arrest him ASAP.
Even your argument is based on tribal bigotry. So, if you want to be factual, I double dare you to name a single SW governor since 1999 who achieved up to what Umahi did in Ebonyi. I'm waiting!!!
Add Ondo. ALl combined, IKpeazu outperformed their total years in Govt
tctrills: What are you talking about? The SS states have by far the biggest federal allocation and they also have 5he greatest poverty in the south. Building nice stadiums is obviously not reducing poverty in the SS.
\
True. But adding allocation plus IGR. SOme states in SW like Ogun is richer than some states in SS
tolue42: Why should we remove Lagos first? That's my question to you...
Cause Lagos is incomparable to any state. Lagos qualifies as a country on it's own. And also it had already gotten it's advantage over any other state in Nigeria. So it will be an unfair comparison.
Without Lagos it will be balanced. WIthout Lagos SW still has states that are richer than SS and SE states in terms of IGR
For me, I think if we remove Lagos (for a good reason), SS govs performed more, followed by SE then SW.
In SS, Akwa Ibom wins, followed by Rivers State, Delta State, Cross Rivers State, Edo State and Bayelsa (the most miserable)
The state has been undergoing giant infrastructural strides right from the time of Godswill Akpabio till date. the key ones are - Massive Road infrastructure - Building their own International Airport and launching an airline (Ibom Air) which now has 7 Aircraft (2 new Airbus) - Building massive office complexes (Four Point by Sheraton, Dakada Tower, Christian Ecunumical Center, Ibom Specialist Hospital , and many others too numerous to mention).
I find Lagos street food tasteless. Especially that kpof kpof
Even Agege bread wey people dey hype na one tasteless dough like that.
I don even try to chop corn for here but the hygene dey make me no make attempt. Also, why is Lagos corn always yellow unlike the one in PH which is usually white.
The worst Bole any PH person will eat in is in Lagos.. THe thing dey pain me when I see am cause they are demarketing Boli
When it comes to street food, I think PH beats.
The only street food I've enjoyed in Lagos so far is Spaghetti with turkey and their jollof rice (very delicious and spicy)
But for favorite street food, I think for me it's For me, its Boli, roasted corn and spagh with turkey
IGBOSON1: They could have done better with the sides of the road! Open gutters are an eyesore and i was thinking they were now constructing covered/underground drainage on rehabilitated roads in Aba!
Well actually they are now, but not in all roads. THis Azikiwe road was kinda rehabilated.
I wish the govt can extend it to all the roads in Aba. All the roads in Aba needs to be covered drain and also flowers planted to beautify it
Ofodirinwa: Ogun got a lot of investments because of geography. If anyone thinks it's anything else they either don't know geography or are being willfully blind.
People just want to bend reality to sentiment. How many police check points were on SE roads before 'illiterate nwa boy' and how do you believe this effects business? Some ppl want to live in their emotions and chattering like an August meeting
THats how u deceive yourself.
So what ABout Abia?? THey got it cause of geography too abi?
Abia has received more than $300 Million dollar since 2015 as foreign Direct investments and Capital inflows.
I believe if Anambra is peaceful, it will do x10 more.
Especially ow that this election is here.
THis election will make many people invest in the EAST. If Obi wins, people wil invest in the East especially Anambra, if Obi looses peope will still ivnest in the East. I know many of my friends who has decided to start their business in the East due to this current tension cause of the election
It saddens my heart that some people in our midst who are Igbos is destroying Ala Igbo.
This is the President of African Export–Import Bank (AFREXIM), Dr. Benedict Okey Oramah who is from Anamrba State. Listen as he revealed the sad reason why Anambra lost billions naira investment to Ogun State.
Just for a moment imagine what this coud;e done to the economy of Onitsha and Asaba. But because of some illiterate Nwa Boi who has this utopia that they can gain independence by attacking security outfits and personel in AlaIgbo.
Tomorrow we will say there is no job, but we are using our hands to destroy.
I am sure eve with this damning revelation, some fools will still not be moved. They will still go on.
ANSMEDIA: Nnamdi Azikiwe university teaching hospital, Nnewi Anambra state has moved to its magnificient massive beautiful state-of-the-art permanent site at Nnewi Ozubulu Anambra state. Biggest and finest addition to the southeastern Nigeria. More pictures soon.
0bjpmb: Shut up your dirty mouth this useless envious bitter dirty abia miscreant.
Go and search Google. Western education and missions first berth in Onitsha before going hinterland to other parts of igboland decades later.
That's why the first igbo Bible translation was done in Onitsha dialect. The first igbo missionary literature was equally in Onitsha dialect.
That's why the headquarters of Catholic and Anglican in igboland is in Onitsha because that was where the first churches were established in igboland (Holy Trinity Catholic Church and All Saints Anglican Church)
That's why the first missionary schools in igboland were first established in Onitsha (Christ the King College- CKC, Dennis memorial grammar school-DMGS and Queen of Rosary college- QRC)
Lol. Go and read history well, the first Igbo bible was done in Ndoki dialect which is the spoken dialect in Bonny.
Use your Google to cure your ignorance, envy and bitterness
