I would like us to stop using paint and cement for everything. Once somebody fails to repaint them it looks bad, plus why should something by repainted again and again.

To be frank, I live in the US and Nigerians don't know how to paint on cement surfaces. That's why they have to keep repainting. So I which we can start using other materials especially for public art.

Decklar And Millenium Deliver To Export 7,800bbls, Sign New Pact On Oza Oil Field
BY INISDE BUSINESS NIGERIA
SEPTEMBER 20, 2022

Decklar and its co-venturer, Millenium Oil & Gas Company said they have delivered 7,800 barrels of crude oil (‘bbls’ to the Forcados crude oil export terminal).
Sanmi Famuyide, CEO of Decklar Resources, said the 7,800 barrels of crude oil (‘bbls’) were retrieved fromUmugini Pipeline Infrastructure Limited crude handling facilities to which it was previously delivered.
The 7,800 bbls, according to Decklar are now ready for export pending the completion of certain repairs to the offshore loading system.
In the meantime, an additional 30,000 bbls has been produced from the Oza Oil Field and is currently being stored in tanks at the Oza-1 wellsite.
Once part of this crude is shipped from the Oza Oil Field tanks, the Oza-1 well will be brought back onto production, with the ultimate goal of provision of a stable, ongoing supply of crude oil into new alternative export facilities.
According to them, an agreement has also been reached to transport and sell crude oil from Oza oil field to a company that owns and operates a small crude oil refinery in Edo State, Nigeria.
The agreement provides for an initial sale of 10,000 bbls which the parties plan to later increase to 30,000 bbls. They are also to possibly agree a minimum monthly quantity of barrels of crude from Oza Oil Field for sale to the oil refinery while they await government permits in the next three to four weeks.
The two companies also said that a separate, agreements have been executed to truck crude oil from the Oza Oil Field to a 45,000 barrel tank farm located in Akwete. The short-term goal is to transport approx. 1,100 barrels of oil per day from the Oza oil field to the storage tanks at Akwete. Once the volumes at the Akwete oil tank exceed 15,000 barrels, barges will load and transport the crude to an offshore floating storage and offloading unit (‘FSO’).
The barging to an FSO will provide Decklar and Millenium with the ability to produce and transport larger and more stable volumes of crude oil from the Oza Oil Field and avoid the use of pipelines in areas that continue to have problems with availability, delays and losses.
While the trucking and barging of crude oil involves more complex logistics, it is expected to be more reliable and cost effective than utilizing trucking and pipelines.
This plan is also awaiting government permits in the next four to five weeks to enable it transport to the Akwete oil storage tank
“The new crude export arrangements, including the sale of the Oza crude oil in storage, sale of future production to a local refinery, and trucking crude oil from the Oza Oil Field to the Akwete tank farm for barging to an FSO, will allow Decklar to significantly increase deliveries of oil to markets through improved logistics and alternative export facilities. These new and existing export alternatives will allow Decklar to generate revenue in the near future as we look forward to the commencement of more efficient crude oil transport and exports from the Oza field”.
Wow. I know this Akwete Oil Storage Tank. It is owned by Stanley Obiamerije. My Ndoki brother. I am elated this place will be put to use in due time. THis is good news.

IKpeazu should follow up on this and ensure that FG grants it the necessary permit. THis will also contribute to the success of Enyimba Economic City

SOLUDO IS GIVING ME JOY. grin grin smiley smiley

I just watched a video a vlogger did about traveling from Enugu to Ebonyi.
I was jaw-dropped to see that from the boundary of ENugu and Ebonyi to Abakiliki, the roads within Ebonyi were all in perfect condition, the one that does not too smooth were being worked on and the ones that are narrow are expanded.

I was elated that one state in SE is gettting it right. Now this is what we are talking about. My prayer is for Abia, Anambra, Enugu and Imo to take a cue. SE governors should put 80% energy into reconstructing roads in SE especially economic roads that connect SE/SS and the rest of Nigeria.

We just need good roads, the people can do the rest.

THis is why I get irritated when I see Igbos join others to castigate Umahi. Since 1999, no governor, I repeat, No Governor comes close to Dave Umahi.

I have high hopes for Soludo, I am sure he will deliver.

NB: If you have a fragile ego, please avoid my mention (although I know the other cursed clowns will mention me, oya cursed clown 1,2,3 go...).

Sorry, my Anambra peeps if you feel offended about me posting this year, please just take the message and ignore me. I just want us to see the bigger picture. It's not about state but the survival of Igbo land.

Also pelase whoever is close to Hope should advise him to repaint the monuments (gates, pillars, etc.) around New Owerri axis. THe roads too. THey are becoming a eyesore

I’ve come to realise that, even with all the exposure and travelling to saner climes, our present crop of leaders (and i mean governors, their appointees and top civil servants) are just too local…..i’m sorry!

The jury is still out on Soludo as it would be a bit unfair to judge him now considering they’re yet to complete any of the newly awarded road contracts in his state. However, i’m less forgiving of other present and immediate past governors in south-east states ….with the slight exemption of Sullivan Chime. I mean….even with all the commendable jobs we see the likes of Umahi, Obiano, Ugwuanyi (only Nsukka and the newly reconstructed Agbani Rd, Enugu), Ikpeazu (though he tried small with greenery in parts of Aba) and Uzodinma (newly reconstructed roads in Owerri and other state highways which look more durable and better aesthetically than the infamous Rochas ‘China’ roads)……upon all these modest positives, you’re still left to wonder why none of them seem to care much about the need for greenery in their major cities: ie, tree-lined streets swept clean of sand/sediments/rubbish; cleared gutters; well manicured carpet grass on either side of major roads…instead of the unsightly bare, muddy earth we normally see; well marked roads; WORKING street/traffic lights; well organised commercial/transport activities; etc!

I wouldn’t be surprised if northern cities like Sokoto and Kaduna have more trees than cities in the supposed rainforest belt like Owerri, Aba and Onitsha! Umahi, as brilliant as he is with delivering on big-ticket projects, seems to be the worst culprit in this regard….though i noticed he seems to have improved a bit with the new airport his admin’ is building!
I noticed he is now planting trees and installing CCTV cameras in Abakiliki. I pray others take a cue.

For Souludo, he has mentioned that he will do massive tree planting. I pray he stays true to it.

Abia's Ikpeazu and ENugu are the worst culprit. THey have not been very zealous in this regard. THough Ikpeazu starte it initially in 2015, but u know ABa na, some peple just step on it and klll it and u know as government does things, they don't follow up.

ENugu is the worst. Sullivan left a flourishing Nursery in ENugu, but the current governor is yet to plant as much trees and flowers as sullivn had done, rather they are withering away for lack of care, the anoying part is that this is happening in ENugu metropolis

This is as a result of Enyimba's economic City investments and also Geomteric Power investment by AFDB. But majorly encouraged by EEC

Nice one, I love Uzodinma's drive on Urban renewal, he should keep it steady.

I will always maintain that it is time Owerri gets a CBD, Wetheral road is a good location. Take out some blocks and build a standard skyscraper office complex there. These will engineer a change, others will follow suite. I trust my Igbo people, we are very competitive.

Hope is trying on roads. He needs to institute a better waste management and environmental policy. Around Amakohia axis roads are dusty and grasses overgrown along the road and median. These things deface the city. He should intensify efforts to always trim the grass and also use road sweepers to keep the roads sand free.

Uzodima should just focus on roads, that's okay (but he must not ignore education and health, Imo did poorly in WAEC this year)

IGBOSON1:
Dude, you either lack comprehension skills or you’re just putting on an act playing daft!

Social or Behavioural Sciences is not an exact science! Different individuals would react to the same situation in different ways as the variables can’t always be the same! Mazi Kanu had witnessed his brethren being either shot or hacked down in cold blood on different occasions: shooting of unarmed agitators; Uzo-Uwani; Nimbo….just to name a few! And your darling Buhari gov’t, whose basic remit is to ensure the protection of lives and properties of ALL Nigerians, carried on with life as if it’s mere chickens being slaughtered! Till today, can you tell me the findings of any federal judicial enquiry set up to investigate any of these incidents (if any at all were set up), and who were fingered either as the culprits or officials guilty of dereliction of duty!? I’ll be waiting for your answer with bated breath!

Mazi Kanu and the rest of us were witnessing this criminal display of evil by the Buhari gov’t unfold.…with nobody being held to account, yet you now want us to wear the biblical sackcloth, and roll on the floor in anguish that UGM were targeting the criminal Nigerian police or attacking one of the symbols of Fulani hegemonic oppression….ie, the prisons! Why do you expect of Mazi Kanu the kind of morality and show of empathy that you’re unprepared to show to his people!? Dude, if Mazi Kanu cheering on UGM attacking police and Owerri prison is the ‘smoking gun’ you have against him, then you have no case!

You’re now asking another dumbass question…’why is he now crying that they should stop?’ Like i stated earlier, the study of human emotions is not an exact science! The way you react to a situation today could be different to the way you react to the same situation weeks down the line when variables change and emotions are a lot cooler! Mazi Kanu is aware that 5th columnists and agents of the deep state have used the period of his incarceration to hijack the struggle and his appeal for calm is not only in keeping with the wishes of Igbo elders who have called for a ‘political settlement’ to the issues at hand.….the call for restraint would also pull the rug from beneath the feet of all these impostors and 5th-columnists (you…simon ekpa…chinasa nworu…DOS….autopilots….etc), and remove the reason they give for continuing sit-at-home attacks and murder of Igbo on the streets! Following on from this, we can now better understand why the Buhari gov’t and their hegemonic partners don’t want Mazi Kanu released: his release would put paid to the evil schemes they have going on in the south-east!

It hasn’t gone unnoticed how you (and all your alternate monikers and partners) are fond of derailing Igbo threads…making posts to criticise Mazi Kanu and IPOB, even when there’s no reason for it! This is what you’ve just done on this thread. Need i remind you lot that this, and similar threads, were created to discuss developmental issues of the state concerned. Stop derailing them with your insane anti-Kanu/IPOB bile! Instead create a new thread if you have a anti-Kanu/IPOB rant to get off your chest….we can all meet there to discuss!
I am more Igbo than you are. I have always stood and fought for Igbo interests offline and online. Defending the great Igbo race.

Where we are not the same is that I refuse to be a stupid Igbo who follows a leader who don't think about the consequences of his actions and inactions. It is a fact that Kanu encouraged UGM's mayhem,. If he had condemned them, IPOB members and other Igbos would've followed suit. I was here when in all posts where UGM attack police stations and kill officers who are our brothers IPOB members and some nut Igbos go there and cheer them, they cheer them because their leader who does not think logically and rationally has cheered them instead of condemning them.

I was more involved in the IPOB movement than u dude. I was designing IPOB's designs as early as 2015 to your Emeka Gift and was sacked from my first place of work doing so. I parted ways when he started becoming inclined to violence and nonsense talks (Buhari is dead, Yoruba pastors are fraud, etc.) instead of tackling issues.

I am not a fool to allow illogical people to run a rampage in a region I hold dear. My mum is from Abia, I am from Oyigbo, Rivers.

Whatever happens in SE affects me too. I will not be alive and allow IPOB to encourage nuisance to run with guns around SE unchecked in any guise. MBANNU.

They claim to fight herdsmen but Herdsmen still kidnap our people and the killings have since intensified. Now we don't even know who is doing all the killings.

I want a peaceful SE so that our economy will change for the better and people won't need to migrate to Lagos to make a fortune. This is why Kanu is myopic. It is not every fight you must win. U want Biafra but u can't feed yourself, u don't have good access roads to all villages in SE. Let's focus on fixing our land and economy by engaging our leaders and being politically active. If we fail to do the needful, we will be a laughing stock continuously as IPOB has made us become.

I for one is someone that hates to negotiate from the point of Weakness. It is against my principle and personality. IPOB and SE is weak. TO negotiate we need power. Political or economical. We may find it hard to get political power, but who says we can't get economic power?? Who can stop uS??!!!

We already have economic power as individuals, it is just to simply transfer it to our states and region so that states can have enough money to get power. These are the basic things u have to seek out before holding a flag and shouting "GIVE US BIAFRA" ( which I find very demeaning and insulting to the Igbo race, we don't beg for something, that's weakness)

There is no future in SE with Kanu. I want him to be released and I want him to cease his agitations.. Kanu is not the leader we should rally around. People like Obi, Umahi and Soludo are the kind of people we need as they think thank to forge a great course for ALaIgbo (SS/SE). Time is ticking, we must not allow people to move ahead of us, we are playing states in the north and SW is growing to outpace SE states, especially Abia and Enugu. That's unacceptable.

We need a viable economy in SE, the only way to guarantee it is secure. This is why I hate Kanu for encouraging the ravagin UGM, even though they are killing just policemen do u think an investor will be comfortable staying in a place where nuisance will come out of their hiding and just go about killing police people? Have u not seen how these killings have metamorphosed to kidnapping and killings in SE?

If u know so much about sociology and human behaviour as u claim u should know it is a bad idea to encourage gun running and indiscriminate killing in a region with low rate of employment and industries. These things have effects!!!!!

*Pics of where SE (Our SS States are doing well) states sit in Fiscal performance, IGR and GDP ranking is a call for concern. I want us to sit at the top 10, I mean all SE states in the top 10. That's my concern. Not Kanu or Biafra!!!

IT IS TIME TO UNLOCK SE, THE TIME IS NOW, BUT BEFORE WE CAN DO IT, WE NEED PEACE.

CEASE ALL AGITATIONS, AND FOCUS ON BUILDING A BETTER REGION WITH BETTER ECONOMIC STRENGTH. THIS STRENGTH WILL ATTRACT MANY TO ALAIGBO, THE POPULATION WILL INCREASE OUR VOTING POWER, INCREASE OUR DIPLOMATIC POWER, AND INCREASE OUR BARGAINING POWER WITH THE PRESENCE OF KEY INVESTMENTS AND INVESTORS THAT CAN CALL THE SHOTS!!

A VERY SIMPLE LOGIC. BUT WE WANT TO DESTROY OURSELF

Looking at the picture of the drainage it is of quality work but I ask, why are they still constructing open drainage? In honesty, our people have not really understood the importance of a clean environment they will clog the drainage with all manner of rubbish, and rain season floods will destroy the road, Is it not penny wise pound foolish? I really understand that underground drainage is costly but slab-covered drains are good enough.
I am not a fan of open drainage but I think we can exscuse this one.

It's a highway crisscrossing villages and towns. It is not feasible to close it tilll the end. Maybe they should try and close the parts that falls into towns.

No true Igbo says 'Oyigbo'.....it's Obigbo, gerrit? WTF is 'Oyigbo'?

You're one unrepentant and shameless revisionist twerp for coming on here to lie about what happened in Obigbo! Things kicked off when a running battle ensued between the local Obigbo youths and Fulani herdsmen/bandits/terrorists located in the LGA! We all know these invaders have a history of courting trouble with the indigenes anywhere they find themselves, be it south-east...south-south...south-west.....middle-belt....or even as far off as Central Africa sef!

The wicked Fulani army of Nigeria were either unofficially invited by the Fulani in Obigbo, or they went there of their own accord to go lend support to their kinsmen. IPOB was not gonna sit by and let this evil go on unchallenged....like had happened in the past in the south-east and all over the middlebelt, so ESN (whether homegrown Obigbo ESN or from outside the LGA...i can't say for sure) was mobilised to the scene to assist Obigbo youths. Now this was when that fool Wike gave the Fulani army of Nigeria the excuse they were looking for, to officially go into Obigbo with the excuse that they were hunting for ESN 'terrorists', and this was when the real desecration of the land by the Fulani army of Nigeria began....going from house to house, murdering innocent villagers they accuse of being ESN members and laying siege to the entire LGA!

We all know how the so called Nigerian army and police went AWOL for hours when Owerri prison (which i gather is next to Gov't House, Owerri) was attacked! That was a false-flag operation carried out by the stinking hegemonic forces....the deep state, aimed at trying to implicate IPOB/ESN....kinda like you're doing now! The prison was attacked for a prolonged period of time, and not one single army or police appeared to repel the attack, yet you wanna sit there and tell us IPOB did it! You must think you're talking to kids here!

So what if Mazi Kanu 'encouraged' the attack? An attack that was already underway when he purportedly made the tweet.....is that your 'smoking gun'? You talking of Mazi Kanu 'encouraging' an attack on the prison is you starting the story from the half-way point! What precipitated Mazi Kanu not giving a fck that your prison was attacked....start the story from there! You're busy releasing hardened boko terrorists up north.....and murdering innocent kinsfolk of his down south, yet you want him to beat his chest and weep that Owerri prison is being attacked? A prison most likely filled with Igbo victims of Fulani state-sanctioned brutality and extra-judicial excess? A prison YOUR OWN FEDERAL SECURITY FORCES JAPAED FROM AND WERE NOWHERE IN SIGHT TO DEFEND? Dude, get real!
If IPOB has courage they should bring their nonses to Oyigbo again. We wil seend them to mee ther maker.

We are for progress. We don't need retards in our midst.

Why wouldn't Mazi Kanu hail UGM killing greedy, egunje-loving, trigger-happy and murderous olopa! First ask who drew First Blood....and you may find the story started way back from bodies dumped in Ezu river (if not much further back)....for which NO Nigerian security official has been held to account, even up till today as we speak!

Like i inferred in my one of my previous posts, i can perfectly understand the desire to seek for retribution towards the Nigerian state if one of my own brothers was a victim of state sponsored murder, and the Nigerian state didn't give a fck about it! So what if Mazi Kanu, who has seen many of his kinsfolk murdered in cold blood by the evil Nigarian army and police, decided to hail UGM for attacking them!? Tough....deal with it! You were probably struck dumb when the murderous Nigerian forces were drawing First Blood, and found your voice all of a sudden when security personnel and security installations were reaping the fruits of the seeds of hate and injustice they sowed!
Lol. Your foolishness amazes me.

SO why is he now crying that they should stop?

With each subsequent lousy post you make, you expose your impostor, non-Igbo status even more! And why do you make it look like a little 5 paragraph post is so tedious for you to read and assimilate? You must have had a short attention span and difficulty reading anything bigger than a one page document in university!

On what basis are you labelling ESN as 'terrorists'? Can you mention at least two acts of terrorism attributable to ESN and for which they have owned up to....as is par for the course with terrorists the world over!

The only foolish one here is you, who wants to over-simplify analysis of insecurity in the south-east region! On what basis do you posit that the criminality of Fulani herdsmen/bandits/terrorists in the south-east region is now 'minimal', and that it's now IPOB/ESN that's engaged in all the kidnappings, beheadings, cannibalism, targeted assassinations, etc? How did you come to this conclusion?

I've always taken a nuanced approach to this issue, and based on this, i've already conceded that its possible some Igbo elements could be involved in the targeting of security personnel or installations....but this is as far as i'd go in blaming anyone else but northern elements (ie, Fulani herdsmen/bandits/terrorists and rogue federal security personnel)! Any keen observer would have noticed this penchant for wanting to blame IPOB/ESN for insecurity in the south-east region only started after the Orlu incident between ESn and the criminal Nigerian army! Prior to this incident, the trigger-happy and evil Nigerian security bodies were killing peaceful IPOB agitators and innocent Igbo youth for fun....using them for target practice with no response coming from the victims! It was only after ESN was formed and the murderous Fulani army of Nigeria realised it was no more business as usual when they got their ass handed back to them in Orlu...it was after this that they now deviced the idea of engaging in false-flag oeprations: ie, committing heinous, disgusting, high-profile and spectacular crimes in the south-east...recording some showing the killers conspicuosly wearing IPOB insignia...and sending same to their agents on social-media to upload for propaganda purposes! Check it.....there was NO such incident before 'Orlu' happened even though Buharis' goons had been murdering innocent Igbo youth from as far back as 2015! This should tell you something isn't adding up!

Like i said, some Igbo who had siblings and friends murdered by Nigerian security personnel since 2015, which the Buhari gov't brushes aside and ignores as if it were just chickens that had been slaughtered.....some of these Igbo may have been the ones attacking security personnel or security installations in the south-east region. And though i don't condone such, i can understand why they do it!

On the other hand however, whenever senseless and inexplicanle high-profile crimes are committed, in which innocent IGBO are captured and filmed being tortured, beheaded and cannibalised by masked murderers who are conspiciously wearing IPOB insignia and announcing their IPOB 'membership' to the camera, and said recordings inexplicably make their way to social-media for upload by one particular diseased scumbag who uses it for anti-IPOB/ESN propaganda....when all these variables come together, you can be sure these are false-flag operations carried out by northern elements domiciled in the south-east (probably taking cover in police and army barracks within the region)!

The other type of criminality northern elements are engaged in, in the south-east and other regions is kidnapping for ransome! This one is either carried out by rogue northern elements in the Nigerian army or other security bodies, or they're carried out by their herdsmen/bandits/terrorist cousins operating from our forests! Their are MANY examples of this to cite on here and i can furnish you with such if you want!

My first sentence on this post was to tell you you're exposing your 5th-columnist status with each subseqent daft post you make, and your assertion...."You are asking why haven't they charged them to court? Do such devils deserve court? They are sending straight to hell where they belong..." bears testament to this! Knowing and seeing how the wicked Fulani gov't of Nigeria is releasing captured boko/ISWAP terrorists or standing by while their so called maximum-security prisons are attacked for over an hour and captured terrorists released, and with the attackers even having the luxury of time to give a sermon to the freed captives....knowing all these, just how TF can any true Igbo say the shit you just said...that any caught Igbo IPOB/ESN suspects should be extra-judicially executed and 'sent straight to hell'!? That statement is just dripping with hate and bile and is typical of the kind of thing Igbo-haters from certain quarters mouth!

You're not just a shameless impostor, but you're pure evil personified as well!
Shut up.

Insecurioty started when Kanu started becoming impatient instead of sticking to the non-violent and non-lethal means of agitation.

THe moment he set up ESN and started calling Buhari dead was when I fell out with him

WRONG! the high incidence of crime in the south-east is the legacy (probably the only one sef) of the bigoted Buhari admin'! What you're trying to do...and what you will never get away with (you and all your alternate monikers and impostor partners), is to try and lay the blame for the widespread insecurity in the south-east on the victims! You are pure evil!

Can you swear on the lives of your immediate family that you're Igbo from Ndoki?

I don't know why you impostor Igbo-haters are resorting to all this subterfuge and polluting/overrunning Igbo threads with your anti-IPOB/Kanu campaign of lies and deceit!

The honourable and right thing to do if you're afraid Mazi Kanus' IPOB may disintegrate your ATM that is 'one Nigeria' with the truth, is to support a fairer and equitable Nigeria where the Igbo are not ganged-up against by the other two major ethnicities and cheated with a lopsided political-economy! That's the easiest way to take the wind out of IPOBs sails, but you can't bring yourselves to do this because that would mean supporting a Igbo person for president in 2023, and your greed and lust for power stands between you and fair judgement!
U must be an Idiot. In my LGA of Oyigbo, Kanu encouraged IPOB in a live broadcast to burn police stations in Rivers state over the oyigbo issue. FOr days, IPOB members were going around Oyigbo burning police stations and killing pollice officers.

WHen UGM+ESN broke into prison to free hardededn criminals in Owerri, Kanu never condmened it, rather he encouraged them. How dense can someone be. Then he felt that "Ow, UGM are on our side". Now u people want to disasociate fromt them. THunder fire u.

If i ask you to explain how IPOB and ESN (Igbos') killed their own brother and why they did it, can you?
U must be very stupid to disassociate IPOB and ESN from UGM

U people must think we are fools or what?

THis is your Kanu. Hailing them.
