I think the first link did the trick for me. The very first map that tried describing the where the bank is gave me a good insight on understanding how these westerners gibe directions. Trust me, I am hopeless with giving directions. So what I did was let the tape play the first question, then I will pause it and look at the five pictures to locate the one that best describes the question.
For example: The tape goes:A. "Excuse me, please can you tell me where the bank is?"

Happy sunday! My first IELTS attempt was done at British council which my overall score was 6 band and I read a post here saying MOD marking scheme is much better than British council. Can our seniors here put more light on this because planning to take the IELTS exam again and I believe am going to pass this time. Please I need your opinions. Thanks

I did my IELTS exam July 07 and I checked my result on friday L 6 W 6 R 5 and S 6.5 overall band is 6. I felt really bad but after reading a lot of post here I realised is not the end and I will need to work harder and make it this second time In Shaa Allah.
