Celebrities / Opinion: Fela The Populist Activist by o2k(m): 8:25am On Oct 17, 2017
FELA THE POPULIST ACTIVIST

Musically you can't touch this fella, he was so dope at his prime, with rich souds and lyrics that was so woke, so woke that he got international music contracts and recognition at a time when there was no internet.

He became an activist through his music.
A populist activist, so he also went the way every story of populism goes.

Fela caused more harm to his generation more than the corrupt goverment officials he always took a swipe at with his musics and beer parlour opinions.

If the Youth (human resources) that wasted and still wasting away as a result of his legacy is not corruption, then our leaders wasting our common wealth is also not corruption!
But Fela the prophet couldn't see beyond the latter.

He raised an army of blunt, and all they could do was roll a perfect blunt at the problems facing the nation.

He raised an army of womanizers and all they could do was to get laid at every sight of the nation challenges.

He raised an army of revellers and all they could do was to dance and get drunk at the corruption scandals of his time.

He thought Nigeria was Kalakuta republic so he started MOP political party and put himself up for election as the president.

Fela is a typical example of waste of talent, resources, and influence. He was the Balotelli of his time, holding so much promise but achieving so little.

His music was a strong bond that brought we the common man together, given us a voice and becoming the face of our struggle. But what did Fela do in return? He became lord polygamist, spent more time naked and wasted than actually standing up as an activist.

You wanna know the legacy Fela left behind, just go to his shrine and see for ya self.

To tell you how bad it is, they couldn't host the debate they had organised in honour of him at the shrine. You know why? Its not and has never been a place for political discussion but a place for everything Fela preached against.

If only Fela could have been sober for just a year.
If only he realised how big a sacrifice was the death of his mother.
If only he understood that being locked up for about 200 times wasn't the zenith of the struggle.
If only he understood that being a hedonist, would never allow him to focus on those things that matters.
If only he knew, he wouldn't have wasted that golden opportunity.

However, I love how far aunty Yeni has gone with the brand 'Fela', she has
done a great job. She looks like the only one willing to stir the Fela influence in the right direction i pray that she gets to that place eventually.

Education / Expelled Delsu Students Petitions Vc - Campusthree News by o2k(m): 3:30am On Mar 16, 2017
Two expelled students of Delta State University, Abraka, JOY ENAOHWO AND OJEAH OBIAJULU have written a petition to the state house of assembly through their solicitors claiming that they were unjustifiably expelled from the university.
In their petition they claim victimisation by their head of the Department, Fine and Applied Art, Dr U.N.O Edewor.
The petition was presented yesterday during plenary by the member representing Ethiope East Constituency HON (CHIEF) EVANCE OCHUKO IVWURIE.
After the prayers the house directed the House committee on Public Petition to look into the merit of the Petitions.
For the full story on how it happened read their petition below:
23rd February, 2017.
The Rt. Hon. Speaker,
Delta State House of Assembly,
Okpanam Road,
Asaba,
Delta State.
Dear Sir,
PETITION AGAINST DR U.N.O EDEWOR AND THE VICE CHANCELLOR OF DELTA STATE UNIVERSITY: A DEMAND FOR THE IMMEDIATE REINSTATEMENT OF TWO FEMALE STUDENTS, ENAOWHO JOY AND OJEAH OBIAJULU SILVER, WHO WERE UNJUSTIFIABLY EXPELLED FROM THE DELTA STATE UNIVERSITY.
The above subject matter refers.
We are Solicitors to ENAOWHO JOY (FOA/13/14/220090) and OJEAH OBIAJULU SILVER (FOA/13/14/219517) on whose behalf we write.
Sir, we are constrained to bring to your attention and indeed seek the urgent intervention of the Delta State House of Assembly, being Legislative arm with a view to obtaining justice for the aforesaid two female fine art students of the Delta State University who have been made victims of oppression and highhandedness by their lecturer and the university management led by the Vice Chancellor. It is also important to draw your attention to the issues herein contained considering that they are capable of damaging the fabric of tertiary education in the state, if not curtailed.
The gravamen of the case of the aforesaid two female students is to the effect that both of them are 300Level Students of the Delta State University, studying Fine and Applied Arts. Both of them sat for course FAA 211 Drawing Examination on the 20th of July, 2016. They wrote the examination peacefully and submitted their scripts in accordance with the relevant rules and regulation of the Delta State University. There was no incidence of examination malpractice of any sort relating to them and they had no issues, whatsoever, with the Invigilators for the examination. They also filled and signed the attendance sheet for the examination as required of them.
However, a day after the examination was written, the course lecturer and Head of the Department of Fine and Applied Art, one Dr U.N.O Edewor phoned and invited one of them (Enaowho Joy) to come to his office immediately, to which she complied. Upon her arrival Dr Edewor alleged that she and her friend, Ojeah Silver engaged someone to write the examination for them. The student was surprised at the allegation and vehemently denied same. She sought to know from Dr Edewor the grounds for the allegation or any proof for his allegation but he could not provide any. It is instructive to note that the said Dr Edewor was not present at the examination hall and there is no report by the Invigilators of the examination regarding any incidence of examination malpractice against the two female students to support the allegations made by Dr Edewor.
In spite of his absence from the examination hall or any report from the Invigilators to rely upon and notwithstanding the lack of evidence to support his spurious claims, Dr U.N.O Edewor flagrantly abused his position as the Chairman of the Examination Malpractice Disciplinary Committee of the Delta State University and phoned Enaowho Joy again to come back to his office the same day, which she did. He then issued her with two letters of invitation to appear before the Examination Malpractice Disciplinary Committee the following day. He also instructed her to give the second letter to her friend, Ojeah Silver.
The next day, being two days after the examination, the two female students (Enaowho Joy and Ojeah Obiajulu Silver) duly appeared before the Examination Malpractice Disciplinary Committee. Amazingly, the panel was chaired and presided over by Dr Edewor himself. In fact, he was the only one amongst the panellist who spoke throughout the proceedings; the other panellists were practically onlookers. He accused the two students of engaging someone to write the examination for them. No evidence was presented, the source of the information relied upon by him was not disclosed, no witness was called, no reference was made to any malpractice incidence or any report showing the two girls were caught indulging in examination malpractice etc.
The two students denied the allegations and narrated how they prepared for and wrote the examination by themselves, including the fact that they duly signed the attendance register for the examination but Dr U.N.O Edewor whose mind was made up ahead of time would have none of it and so he entered a guilty verdict against the two students upon which they were allegedly expelled from the University. The two students were later informed of their expulsion via a publication on the University’s website.
It is important to note that at the committee hearing, Dr Edewor played the role of the Complainant, Prosecutor (in actual fact Persecutor) and the Judge over the matter and by so doing violated a fundamental tenet of natural justice which in latin is stated thus: “Nemo Judex in causa sua”, meaning no man shall be a judge in his own case. He also violated the second principle of fair hearing which is also stated in latin thus; “Audi alterem patem”, meaning listen the other side. The Committee hearings were actually a charade, put up by Dr Edewor to give effect to his heinous motives of inflicting injustice on the two students. In effect, the two students were denied fair hearing.
It is unacceptable for Dr Edewor to preside over a matter where he is the complainant/accuser. These actions of Dr Edewor are condemnable, unacceptable in a citadel of higher learning and constitutes an affront against the constitutionally guaranteed right of fair hearing enshrined In Section 36 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The likes of Dr Edewor must not be allowed to continue to hide under the cover of “Mr Lecturer” and Examination Disciplinary Committee to perpetuate injustice against innocent students.
Sir, having regards to the foregoing, the following questions naturally comes to mind, namely;
i. What is the identity of the person (s) alleged to have written the examination for the two students?
ii. Since Dr Edewor was absent from the examination hall, who were the witnesses that saw another person(s) write examination for the two students?
iii. Why was the person(s) not apprehended in the examination hall?
iiii. Why were the students not made to fill examination malpractice and irregularities form in accordance with the rules of the University?
v. Why is there no Invigilator’s report indicting the students for examination malpractice?
vi. Why will Dr Edewor who is the Lecturer for the Course, Head of Department and Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee play the role of the Complainant, Prosecutor and the Judge in the same matter? Could it be that he has a personal and hidden agenda against the two students or even one of them?
vii. How did Dr Edewor discover that someone wrote the examination for the two students?
viii. Who is actually the Chairman of the Delta State University Examination Malpractice Disciplinary Committee Chairman? How many members are in the committee and who are they? Can a single member of the committee indicts a student, issued and signed invitation letters to the student and then presides over the hearing for the same matter, all within two days? Does that not give room for real likelihood of bias against such a student?
ix. Under the Delta States University Rules and Regulation, can a single lecturer phone a student at home, direct her to come to his office immediately, give her a letter directing her to appear before the Examination Malpractice Disciplinary Committee the following day and then summarily try and expel the student from the University within two days after the examination?
x. Between the Dr Edewor and the Vice Chancellor, who bears the responsibility of remedying the injustices inflicted on the students and assuaging them for the setback in their studies?
xi. How many other students of the Delta State University have fallen victim of this sort of injustice meted to the two female students in this case?
xii. How many other lecturers and Head of Department are there in the Delta State University similar to Dr Edewor who are victimising innocent students and causing untold hardship to their families and Nigerians at large?
xiii. Is Dr U. N. O Edewor not an embarrassment to the Delta State University?
It is no doubt a wonder that the identity of the person(s) allegedly engaged by the two female students has remained a mystery till date and the source of Dr Edewor’s information has never been disclosed, yet the two female student’s studies are being truncated over allegations that cannot be substantiated.
It is also noteworthy that Dr Edewor’s actions and the procedure leading to the arbitrary expulsion of the two female students falls short of the established rules and regulation of the Delta State University for Examination malpractice which requires that;
a. A student caught engaging in examination malpractice is made to fill the examination malpractice form on the spot.
b. The Chief Invigilator is then required to submit a written report to the Dean of the Faculty.
c. On receipt of the Report, the Dean is required to promptly investigate the alleged malpractice and within one week forward a report/recommendation to the Student’s disciplinary committee.
The foregoing is the laid down procedure for examination malpractice and disciplinary action contained in the Delta State University Student’s Information Handbook (see page 296-297). Curiously, this procedure was not followed and what Dr Edewor did is nothing but a sham and same ought to be reversed immediately for the sake of justice, fairness and equity. Not to reverse it is to endorse and enthrone oppression, arbitrariness, wickedness and insensitivity to the plight of our young ones, which if allowed to continue, is capable of throwing the university system into chaos and capable of endangering not only the future of our youths but the institution of higher learning itself and ultimately the future of our dear state.
Sir, in view of the foregoing, it must be stated in very unequivocal terms that the expulsion of the two female students, Enaowho Joy and Ojeah Obiajulu Silver, from the Delta State University is unjustifiable, unlawful, unconstitutional, unsustainable, indefensible, arbitrary, oppressive and unacceptable. No one has the right to jeopardise the future of others on baseless and spurious allegations.
We therefore demand that the said expulsion be set aside with immediate effect and the students be reinstated forthwith. They ought to be in 400level right now having completed their 300level and thus we demand that they be reinstated to the class where they ought to be now, in such a way that they must graduate with their classmates who are currently in 400level. This is the only way they can be assuaged.
We state that Dr Edewor is an embarrassment to the Delta State University. Thus, we accordingly demand that Dr Edewor be thoroughly investigated and appropriate sanctions be meted to him for perversion of justice, for putting the university in a bad light and for being an embarrassment to the Delta State the University. This we believe would serve as a deterrent to other lecturers who have been indulging in or who may want to indulge in similar illegality and abuse of office in the University.
Thankfully, the Delta State House of Assembly enjoys oversight powers over the executive arm of government, inclusive of the Delta State University. We therefore respectfully urge you Sir, to use your good offices to intervene in the matter with a view to setting aside the unjustifiable expulsion of the two female students and have them reinstated forthwith.
We thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Oviemuno Obobolo Esq.
Principal Counsel.

1. His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State.
2. The Honourable Chairman, Delta State House of Assembly Committee on Education.
3. The Honourable Member Representing Ethiope East Constituency, Delta State House of Assembly.
4. The Honourable Commissioner for Higher Education, Delta State Ministry of Higher Education, Asaba, Delta State.

Education / DELSU Pre-degree School Fees Is 100k - Campus Three News by o2k(m): 4:33pm On Mar 07, 2017
PRE-DEGREE SCHOOL FEES for 2016 /2017 SESSION IS 100k

Well I don't know how the Pdites would take this, should they be happy because their fee is a round figure (is that even something to be happy about?), 100k, or that compared to other schools, 100k is a bit fair, or they could even be sad, that in this recession 100k is a lot of money. Well the choice is theirs to make, and the money is Delsu to take.

Having to pay 1,500 for a non smart plastic ID card (just so you know, ATM cards cost 1,050) or 3000 to verify your result (please how much is scratch card again?) , I don't know which is more painful.

Somehow I just feel like while they were making this up they had moments like these, saying to themselves "Humm, what can we add or which should we increase to make it 100k?" my thoughts though.

whichever way, you guys just have to pay up .

Best of luck to you guys

DELSU ENGINEERING COMMUNITY MOURNS AS ANOTHER STAR FADES AWAY

Here is a tribute written by one of his friend, departmental and hostel mate Ubulu Tony Anayeokwu on Facebook

Oh death,Why?An Engr cut on his prime:After all the struggles, from the days of MTH 101,Engine drawing,Engine Maths(1-5),process optimization, separation process, chemical reaction engineering, process design and the Almighty process dynamics and controls. Indeed your a rare kind, you sacrifices virtually everything, your likeness for people is by default.

When I got the sad, heartbroken and unbelievable news of your demise, cold chill ran through my spine I have to confirm because it seem to me like a joke not until the confirmation was in the affirmative."shame on you Death all you know how to do best is take good people away in time".

Peter Eboh your a course mate,a sound chemical Engineer.I remember all those night class(TDB or awoko)as it is usually called in shell blocks and all the blocks we can see power on campus, when sleep was a SIN. Your very resourceful, a reliable study group colleague.

I will never forget how we forbid sleep at night to unravel and solve problems in (chemical Reaction Engineering and process dynamics and controls).Your good deeds are endless,2nd best graduating student with (4 point something cgpa) in chemical Engineering if not the best due to school system constraints.

SLEEP ON and R.I.P Engr Peter Eboh a.k.a Petreelli God loves you more!!!

From all of us here at campusthree we say sleep on, till we meet again to depart no more.

Education / Delsu Matriculation Ceremony 2016/17 - campusthree news by o2k(m): 10:41pm On Jan 24, 2017
DELSU MATRICULATION CEREMONY 2016/17

Delsu matriculation ceremony was held at the three campuses simultaneously on Saturday 21ST January 2017.

At the convocation/matriculation ground at Abraka Campus 3, which was uncharacteristically not filled to the brim this year. Empty seats at the venue, could be as a result of the economic recession in the country.

The Total number of students Admitted for bachelor’s degree was 6,045 while that of Diploma was 230 students out of 17844 students who sat for the Post UTME (Some years back, Delsu used to have about 45,000 Post UTME applicants).

As always the VC did gave a speech.  Here are some of the things the VC said at the ceremony;

About the matriculation ceremony and oath taking here is what he said “matriculation ceremony is a universal academic tradition and requirement in higher institutions. Oath taking is an initiation into intellectual community because it confers on you the full right of students".

On academics he emphasised the need to be diligent and honest saying “while you are here as student you need to be diligent in your academic work and be honest in the pursuit of your dream in the institution”.

On Rules and Regulations in the university, he urged the matriculating students “to obey all rules and regulations during the short period of your studentship, refrain from all activities that inimical to the growth of intellectualism”

About violence, hard drugs and other social vices, thehe VC came down hard saying “I want to warn that the university take serious exception to issues that border on discipline and lawlessness particularly when such action involves violence and breach of peace. Indecent dressing, drug addiction, sexual harassment, campus prostitution and any kind of action that come under broad classification of breach of matriculation oath”.

When it was time to talk on the barbaric tradition of baptism by the old students, he sounded a note of warning saying that “the old students to desist from these barbaric attitudes. The matriculating student should resist such nefarious actions and report to the appropriate authorities if such situation occurs” we all know how that one ended.

Speaking on social media, he said that students shouldn’t become captive of it.

The VC made a promise to the parents that the university would deliver “Quality education and uninterrupted academic session” saying that his desire for the matriculating students is that they would leave the university with their dream fulfilled.

Lastly he spoke about the university being one of the fourth generation universities in Nigeria (what he meant by that? I don’t know) and has grown from a modest beginning back in 1992, to a citadel of research and learning.

From all of us here at campusthree we are wishing the matriculating students a lovely and prosperous stay in the university.

Education / “i Don’t Support Lovers Relationship On Campus" Delsu best graduating student by o2k(m): 10:31pm On Jan 15, 2017
DELSU best graduating student, Mr. Ossaiugbo Marcus Ifeanyi, of the department of mathematics, graduated with a CGPA of 4.86, making him the outstanding academic performer for the 2014/2015 session. In this interview with campusthree he tells us about himself, his choices and how he was able to achieve that feat.

Graduating with a CGPA of 4.86 comes with lots of reading. What was your reading strategy?

It actually comes with a lot of reading, but reading the relevant materials. I worked with personal study timetable which at most included two courses per day in each semester; strictly followed the courses on my timetable and set a limit on each course content to cover on daily basis. I read in the mornings and evenings, sometimes but not always in the afternoons which I usually set aside for my sweet sleep! In all I was faithful to my study timetable.

Were you an “Awoko” type of student?

I discovered that my rate of assimilation is higher during the day rather than night, so I quickly embraced reading during the day. More so, Awoko or “Al-night” reading does not help my concentration during lectures.

What do you think is the major reason why student fail in DELSU? Lack of love for the course and/or course Lecturer. When a student loves a particular course, the student will invest his/her time, interest and resources in the goal-oriented study of the course. This love also provokes the student into learning presentation patterns for answers to examination questions. Many student do not know how to present their ideas during examinations. This actually tells the lecturer your level of understanding of the course. This lack of love has actually made students to read “anyhow”, “off point” or not to read at all. In all, love for the course and course Lecturer is very important.

Mathematics has to do with lots of cramming, how do you cram?

I always start studying the thought theorems from the day of my resumption for each semester. Understanding the theorems is the best. The one you cannot understand, cram and keep practising them, it’ll be part of you and you’ll understand them someday. I had cramming notes for practise. When I’m done with my study timetable for the day, I would go through the theorem(s) before I sleep. I also had friends who practised theorems with me.

Did you set out to study mathematics, or did you it just happen by chance?

I actually applied for Computer Science (1st choice) and Mathematics (2nd choice). Fortunately, my choice of Institution placed me in my destined Course. I almost missed it, because I ignored the advice of friends who saw in me the potential to excel in Mathematics. I cannot forget Miss Chineye Ajede who was always advising me to apply for Mathematics. I thank God that at last he brought me back on track.

Where there any other awards that you received throughout your university days?

Yes. Destiny Helpers International IQ Test Award, Department of Mathematics 100 level Best Academic Student, Former DELSU Vice Chancellor Prof. Eric Arubayi Awards for Faculty Best Students, and Baptist Student Fellowship Best Graduating Student.
At what level did you find out that you had a chance of becoming the best grad student for your set?

300 level first semester.

Was there any close competitor?

Yes. Mr. Ipogah David from Animal and Environmental Biology (AEB) who graduated with 4.79 CGPA.

Throughout your stay in DELSU, what do you think was the major challenge facing the student?

Lack of enough money to help student’s comfort.

What is the major reason for student poor performance in DELSU? As I earlier pointed out, student’s poor performance can be attributed to:

misplaced destiny,
the student’s inadequate love for the semester courses and/or the course lecturers, and
lack of fund for study materials and student’s comfort.

What are the three places people would likely find you during your undergraduate days?

Learning and/or Reading in the class or library,
Worshipping my Creator in Church or Fellowship, and
Normal stuff in my hostel.

What is that one social activities that you always participated in?

Helping my Coordinator in organising my level mates for Departmental Meetings.

Relationship on campus. What’s your take?

Academic-based relationship is normal, but when it comes to lovers relationship, abnormality usually sets in. The truth is, LIFE IS IN STAGES. One step at a time. I don’t support lovers relationship on campus, except for the ones that are already married before gaining the admission to study. Lovers relationship hinders growth and success. At its best, the one or both parties end up a Mediocre in academic achievement. Such relationship breeds hurt, sin, lack of concentration, foolish expenses, misplaced priority and regrets. Thus, I don’t support lovers relationship on campus for the student who really want to excel.

Did you participate in school student politics?

Yes. Good and effective leadership is part of my lifestyle. I really participated in school student politics, but mostly at departmental level. I exercised my right as a Voter even in SUG elections. In my final year, I wanted to contest for NAMSN President, Delsu Chapter. NAMSN stands for National Association for Mathematics Students of Nigeria. As a conscious Christian, I stepped down when I received a revelation about the leadership position; although this did not go down well with my course mates who actually wanted me there. We must note that engaging in student politics is not bad, but one must know why he/she is in the university or higher institution.

Can you say on a scale of 1-10, how religious were you on campus?

Well… I’ll say 8. In my academic pursuit, I never forgot the place of our great Jehovah. I maintained my worship with The Baptist Student Fellowship (BSF) and Our Saviour Chapel, Abraka. I tried as much as possible to attend almost all Fellowship weekly activities. I love DESTINY CLINIC, BIBLE STUDY and COURSE FORM NIGHT. I cannot forget Pastor Gaga, Pastor Kester, MD Peter, Papa Israel, Igbecha and MD Silas. I was an Academic Director in BSF. I’m proud to be part of God’s family.

You stayed at Abraka hall, a school hostel, was that also a contributing factor to your success?

Yes. I’m grateful to God Almighty for taking me to Abraka Hall. I loved Abraka Hall from the very beginning. The proximity to school, cafe, library and shuttle stand, well arranged reading room, presence of other serious minded students, rules and regulations made me to see the truth about the university and my destiny. In fact, it was when I represented Abraka Hall in the Destiny Helpers International IQ Test that I won my first award in the university.

As the best graduating student, people promised you a lot of things. Are people fulfilling their promise?

Yes. To the glory of God, all promises have been fulfilled. Jehovah remains a faithful God.

Immediate employment for the best grad student so said the governor. Have you collected your employment letter?

Yes I’ve collected my employment letter and Documentation have been made as well. Once again, I appreciate His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa and the entire governing council of Delta State University, Abraka for the Automatic Employment.

If you could change anything about DELSU, what would that be?

The way most students see mathematics. Some are afraid of mathematics, others don’t value mathematics as a course. I have a dream that very soon, the whole world will be looking up to Delsu Mathematicians for all Mathematical and engineering solutions to problems facing humanity.

Looking back today, do you have any regrets?

No. I’m proud of everything that happened and every action I’ve taken back then in my undergraduate days at Delta State University, Abraka. I have no regrets.

Looking forward, what should we be expecting from you?

PPM. Yes! Practical Professor of Mathematics. By God’s grace, I’ll be among the Mathematicians that Jehovah will use to make the world a better place.

Tell us what you think in the comments below, about his opinion on study plan, cramming, relationship on campus, student welfare and the no love for mathematics by students. You could also drop your congratulatory message for him to see here. It’s never too late.

DELSUITE Let’s celebrate our own, spread the word!

Religion / Re: Answer This Sunday School Question My People. (see Question) by o2k(m): 5:19pm On Jun 07, 2015
NumberOne2:

Easy. Even Atheists and Muslims know the answer to this.

The bible rearly documents women. Except for a few like Eve, Rahab, Ruth (Go check generations of Jesus in Matthew and Luke).
If not for the issues Dinah (Jacobs daughter had), no one will probably know Jacob has a daughter. Methuselah lived longest in the Bible at 969 years but we do not know his mother.

To your question:
Adam and Eve had another son named Seth. So who did Seth marry?
And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters: - Genesis 5:4

So how many daughters of Adam do you know were mentioned in the Bible?
Is it so hard to see that Cain married his sister? A sister that was not documented at the time of Cain and Abel.
Yeah, you may call it incest but at the time it was common practice. Men did not know better.

Even, a son of Jacob (Reuben) slept with his father concubine.
And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father's concubine: and Israel heard it... - Genesis 35:22

It was later that God gave a law against it to the Israelites:
None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their unclothedness: I am the LORD. - Leviticus 18:6
The the list continue to vs 22 and 23 where God speaks against Homosexuals and sex with Animals.

Even with the laws, there are still cultures around the world that still practice it. It is frowned upon in Nigeria/Africa.
See how it applies globally: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laws_regarding_incest

It took Adam another 800 years before he gave birth to daughters. Cain was knew his wife even before the birth of Seth (gen 4 very 16 - 26)

16

NIV:So Cain went out from the Lord’s presence and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden.

17

NIV:Cain made love to his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Cain was then building a city, and he named it after his son Enoch.

18

NIV:To Enoch was born Irad, and Irad was the father of Mehujael, and Mehujael was the father of Methushael, and Methushael was the father of Lamech.

19

NIV:Lamech married two women, one named Adah and the other Zillah.

20

NIV:Adah gave birth to Jabal; he was the father of those who live in tents and raise livestock.

21

NIV:His brother’s name was Jubal; he was the father of all who play stringed instruments and pipes.

22

NIV:Zillah also had a son, Tubal-Cain, who forged all kinds of tools out of bronze and iron. Tubal-Cain’s sister was Naamah.

NIV:Lamech said to his wives, “Adah and Zillah, listen to me; wives of Lamech, hear my words. I have killed a man for wounding me, a young man for injuring me.

24

NIV:If Cain is avenged seven times, then Lamech seventy-seven times.”

25

NIV:Adam made love to his wife again, and she gave birth to a son and named him Seth, saying, “God has granted me another child in place of Abel, since Cain killed him.”

26

NIV:Seth also had a son, and he named him Enosh. At that time people began to call on the name of the Lord.

The obvious answer is that somethings are beyond our understanding

Ebola is raging in west africa,
Insecurity in the north-east,
Oil prices going down,
Elections coming up next year,
There are several bills to pass ranging from the PIB to ammendment of the constitution.
With all these things, they still choose to go on a break for a whole month, then later on the 15th of december they would close for the year and then resume so close to the begining of the election.
How did we come about this set of people as our leaders?. People that have no foresight and no passion to serve. These people milk our earning as a nation dry through payment of salary, allowances and fictious contract, but still, these men and women with so much wrong has supporters who would wave their flag anytime anyday.
Our leaders, have made us blinded by making us partisans, thinking one party is good, while the other is bad. They have divided us along party lines so they could rule over us just as the time of colonialism where they used divide-and-rule-tacticts.
If only we can come together with one voice and say to this devils that enough is enough, Nigeria would be great again.
ARISE OH COMPATRIOTS

Car Talk / Re: FG Has No Intention To Ban Commercial Motorcycles by o2k(m): 8:52pm On Oct 31, 2014
Its a pity that Nigeria transport system still needs okada.
Our leaders cant think, a ban on okada is not the solution but rather regulating that sector. IMO if okada run at a maximum speed of 30Km/h it would make them more safer and also make them nt viable for illegal operations interms of security. How this can be done is by manufacturing customize motorcycles that would fit the required standard

60% of d food in nija is from there
Where did u get this figure from. can u at least say how u arrive at that 60 percent figure. If u stats were correct, Nigeria would be having food crises by now and food prices would have skyrocketed so pls get ur facts right
Business / Re: Nigeria’s GDP On Steady Rise In Spite Of Insurgency by o2k(m): 6:35pm On Oct 31, 2014
True. The only reason why the GDP is still growing is because the insurgency is in the north- east, where they contribute very little to the nation economy. We all can still remember how the economy fared when there was unrest in the south-south.

Sometimes i wonder, why are christians so afraid to die afterall the preaching on ETERNAL LIFE

That is why America has the age long wisdom of not negotiating with terrorists.
America negotiated for the release of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl from the talibans in exchange for some of their members.
so before u go preaching America this and America that, becarefull because America dont practise what they preach

1. Most benz suv's on the road, would run faster than this car.
2. Dont be decieved, the engines on those formular 1 cars are trade secret.
3. Car racing is not a Nigerian thing, so why waste 4 million naira trying to solve a white mans problem or so they thought
Summary: If Nigeria must develop we must start by solving our problems, for example we need power, water, rural areas are still using fire wood to cook. These are just a few of the problems we face in the nation and formular 1 type of car is definitly not one of them

As long as we continue using the national grid system, i dont see end in sight. Where the power is produced it should be used there, economic common sense would tell you that you product should be close to your market to save cost, this unnecessary stress on the transmission lines where we loose valuable mega watts is not worth it.
