I am still learning in stock investment.
I have in my mind medium and long term investment..

I bought Zenith and MTN already and still have money to buy more coys tomorrow.
My target is GTB, Dangcem and more Zenith.

With the upward trend now, is safe to buy at the current price or wait for downward movement.?

Gurus please respond

I don't work for Morgan, I'm just a happy customer. I'll advise you to open your account with them. I funded my trading account at 10pm yesterday, by the time I woke up this morning, my trading account was already credited! As for Chaka, use them strictly for international stocks or alternative investment platform for local stocks.
this in mind,is it permissible/legal to operate more than two accounts with one clearing House number in NSE.

it will please me to know what you think is the benefit of continued keying into Eti PLC in the face of the bank's lackluster performance vis-à-vis price and none payment of dividend.I have had this stock for so long.

It is a regional bank. Ecobank Nigeria is a subsidiary of the parent company headquartered in Lome (Togo).

The CAR of 12% is OK for regional banks in Nigeria. 10% is the minimum for national/regional banks in Nigeria.

15% is for Nigerian banks that want international presence.

Registrars who are in charge of paying dividend follows your CHN record. If you have one CHN with multiple cscs number, it will not affect dividend payment provided you have your mandate and your specimen signature with them.
Thanks Boss.you are good.

See let me tell you something rookie, for you to just automatically label somebody a thief because he asked for money from the public shows how little you know about life and business. And look no matter how much money you think you have in your account as long as you still have this mentality, you are a poor person.

You're calling me a thief? Me, a thief. You have no idea how hurt you have made me. These kind of words never go and the scars they cause never heal and you people are so insensitive about it. Its why people loose hope in the phucking black race. You never help yourselves.

Me thief? You people have made so many loose hope in you people. Somebody summons courage to ask for help on a public place and you don't help him and you also discourage others from helping him. Why are u like this? Is it not better you did not even answer at all when you knew you couldn't give me the money ? Why do you now have to make me feel bad on top the help that you didn't help me ?

Me thief? You know this name that we have acquired in the international community is also affecting us now. It has come to bite us. You mention Nigeria in western world, the first thing that crosses their mind is thief. Now even in Nigeria, you ask a fellow Nigerian for money they automatically think you are a thief.

It's so sad that genuine people can not even ask for help.

You had the help of people to reach where you are today no matter how much you think you did it on your own. Now that you are on your feet , why don't you reach back and pull someone up? All that crosses your mind is "I did this on my own. Let him do it on his own ." No sir!!! You had the help of people.

Me thief ?
It's like even If I type all day, this anger will not come down. You have hurt me so badly whoever you are with your words and the thing is these words never go. The scars they cause never heal and you are so insensitive about it .
yes o,you thief!,can you not go and ask your family(mother and father) for 30k.you are here speaking grammar.

you shld expect about #24509.25(=10893*2.5*0.9). Maybe the 10893 is held in more than 1 account with the registrars. Pls enusre all accounts are mandated. Best is to consolidate all (if held severally)
Thanks.I will do a mail to the registrars tomorrow.

Another noteworthy experience in the analogue era is exactly the scenario you painted although in this case i placed order about 2 days before qualification date and broker said he bought. About a year later when i went to Registrars for unclaimed dividend they said i had none. I went back to broker and saw from my statement that they didn't buy till weeks later. Infact money i had given the so called staff didn't get into my account till the day they bought. I knew the guy had played a fast one and collected my dividend from him with threat to report to his bosses.

Many here can guess the broker. They have been mentioned here in last few days.

Sometimes some comment trigger fear
Last year somebody said vitafoam truck is at the border that border closure will affect them.
BC of that l sold my vitafoam at loss
BT result came out good with good div.
Last week somebody SD people think united capital Wii pay 30k div
Me thinking the person saw the result l sold bc l don't want to carry last.

Not blaming anybody but nicely put ur thought not to mean u are so sure
I do my homework well but sometimes l still fall
Do not blame yourself or lament too much if your portfolio is as small as mine.
The NSE is not a total write off because people that know their onions are making it cool there. However, it is important to differentiate TRADING from INVESTING in stocks.
For anyone that wants to venture into trading, it is important that such one does his/her home work on the technicalities and fundamentals of choiced stock picks. Such one has to be well grounded. If investing is your choice, on the other hand, knowing basic fundamentals and antecedent of the company you are buying into is sacrosanct. Such individual has to define his/her purpose of investment and should be able to marry patience while at it.
Investing could be for dividend yield benefits and capital appreciation for which such investor may need to be patient enough to make a deserved kill.
So, INVESTING OR TRADING? Know the difference, define your mission and do your home work!

I think I am the worse hit with this tb crash. For d past two months now, money just lay fallow in d saving acct. This government has been doing me with since 2015.

First, it's Naira devaluation dt winded up d business. Now, TB crash. Yet other real time business is no- go area for me. This is because Not only dt I av very low risk appetite, my greatest challenge is real time marketing & creating awareness for my business
Time and season.Pmb and his team will leave some day and the real change will come.

Contact their registrar, EDC Registrars both through mail and phone call.
Are you sure you submit your e-mandate form in the first place?
My brother, I have done all that, but EDC registrars never responded. I followed up this morning with a mail,no dice.
