We know this already, we only need the way out. |
190: But I thought sexkills said he doesn't care if he's selected or notHe showed interest on the thread, expressed the same interest with a PM and said he doesn't care if selected or not. I don't see anything wrong, contradicting and desperate about that. You people should give up on the PM thing and stop making me look like Killz' advocate. No big deal with the PM. You can express your interest with a PM or on the thread or on both. |
hawtin: my own observations so far is thus;Nothing is wrong with sending a private message to Seun or Mukina2 indicating your interest. Everyone has access to Seun and Mukina2 PM and some people will prefer to indicate their interest privately. It doesn't give them undue advantage; merit will still be the determinant factor. |
london2lasgidi: I'm trying to post something, but I get banned every time I post it. Please help.Sorry about it, I guess you are referring to this post: https://www.nairaland.com/946131/nigerias-history-timeline-pictures-800b.c#10910795 The spam bot took it for a spam, it's been untagged. |
190: Wherz 190fanclubYou would have been a serious contender being one of the oldest and most popular romance section poster, but I doubt another poster has taken over your record of being the most banned poster on NL, actually the record is between you and becomerich of politics section.... jk ![]() |
Romance section is one of the high-traffic section of Nairaland, hence it needs a serious capable moderator that can work with other mods. IMO, 3 things make a good mod: Interest, Availability and Ability to be fair. MBJ would have received my support hands down, that bro is good, intelligent and can remain cool under pressure/insults but the bro has declined. Pendo has not made a post on the thread, so no one is sure if she is really interested. She is equally very good. Killz can be a good mod if he can make the necessary adjustment in the area of fairness to all parties... but then in the new NL, he wouldn't have any choice than to be fair, because all his activities as a mod will be visible to Seun, Mukina2 and other moderators and one wrong move can earn him a boot. I don't know Rocktation, Slimyem and Chimezie too well and am not sure they have all personally shown interest. |
My Oga, Kaymed already gave his Detailed explanations earlier and it all tallies with what the OP Explained In Details, He never Denied What the OP Raised except the Line where He said the OP didnt call him Before Showing UP. Kaymed was Evasive as to the Salient points which was SUBSEQUENT Increase in Price Within Such a Short Frame of Time, His excuses were Lame, Also Within the Period the OP posted his Ordeals, KAYMED was seen Viewing this thread and we waited for a response or a message from Him, However i Will agree with you and Give him More time to reply. BTW, wetin you dey do For Autos Section, any better dey ?
Well done Oga. Good one!Erm, erm, wetin I dey do for auto section be say, I wan sack my current boss come join you here, dey shop the millions we una dey make everyday nao. ![]() So I dey take style do apprenticeship here, abi make I come enroll for Inspired_men Auto School? ![]() |
I agree with Fhemmy, In the spirit of fairness, let's allow Kaymed to respond to the well detailed explanation of OP before the ban is enforced. It is for the good of all of us. |
Why did Anambra state spend N4billion on Orient Refinery which is not owned by the state of Anambra? The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) had granted Orient Petroleum Resources Plc (OPR), the holding company of OPR-Refining & Petrochemicals Plc, the Licence to Establish and the Approval to Construct its 55,000 bpsd refinery in 2002 and 2004. The chairman of this company is Chief Emeka Anyaoku. You people need to ask your Governor and his cohorts what they spent N4billion for, if not to line their own pockets. SMH
Did you read this part ndu_chucks? Anambra State Governor, Mr. Peter Obi, yesterday said his administration has spent N4billion on the state-owned Orient Refinery. |
Good one! |
oiseworld: why was i banned. Was any thing wrong with my comment on the walmart story.Sorry the anti spam bot mistook your post on the thread for spam and banned you. You have been unbanned and I have reported the post to be untagged because the thread is not in my section. Sorry about it. |
Nothing in the tweet suggest El Rufai urged Adeboye to retire. OP stop creating misleading threads. Thread Locked. - Moderator |
For starters even, why did you delete my post on the SABMiller thread, when I was neither attacking anyone nor quoting any attacks from anyone? Oh, and HOW am I supposed to post evidence of deleted comments, when they HAVE been deleted? Are you high?
I asked you to produce the thread link so that I and other moderators can find out which posts were hid, who hid it and if the hidden posts were justified (hidden posts and the moderating log are visible to moderators). I cannot remember cleaning the thread you are talking about (though its also possible I responded to some reports on the thread, am not sure). I thought you have a prove I hid your posts, cos I wondered how you came to the conclusion the post were hidden by me. At least 4 people can hid posts in politics section, wondered why you concluded it is me. On SABMiller thread, I hid all the posts discussing rice mills in SW and SE. Those are off-topic posts. The thread is about SABMiller brewery and not about which zone produce the most rice. |
Whao! What a crook? what a story? |
have they formed a quorum and passed the bill now? Am sure if it is about sharing money, or discussing their allowance there will be 100% attendance. |
Spirit of Okija: Finally, A moderatorMaot times you were banned for tribal insults, turning a thread tribal thereby derailing the thread. These often constitute a nuisance to the thread and trust me it is not fun cleaning out these threads; many times we are forced to read through hundreds of posts to know which is off topic and which is not. My advice: Stop it, you can make your point without throwing insults, everything is not tribal. People don't do bad things because of their ethnicity but because they are bad as an individual. There are good and bad people from every ethnic and race. |
hmnnnn... may be its because some of men believe it's the men's world. |
@OP Posts that are off-topic (not consistent with the thread title) and insults are the posts that are always removed. Sometimes before we (moderators) come online some posters would have totally derailed a thread going into pages. The only way we can restore sanity to such thread is to clean out all the off topic posts and insults, wouldn't matter if they are as many as 4 or 10 pages. One thing you also need to understand is that, it's not just about the fun we derive from such thread now, there are people who might have a reason to search out these topics in the future, they will be disappointed finding out that the discussions on the thread are off topic. |
The mods banned me for taking them to the cleaners on their partiality. An idiiot posted a story from 2011, about a community fight in an Anambra village, and these clueless guys posted it on the frontpage o; and this was a story that happened in 2011, the mods are frontpaging in 2012. That wasn't enough. A Nigerian guy was caught with cocaine cream, and the many primitive bigots were in there throwing their childish tribalistic slurs - no one complained or deleted posts. But when that old 50-something year-old woman was caught with cocaine in her rectum? Come and see OAM4J deleting posts like a butthurt teenager on a chicken feed overdose. And who can forget the hilarious OPC one where these mods practically had to lock the thread after the fights just got too epic? These mods sha.
I asked you to provide a link of the thread and evidence that I deleted posts unjustly. Anyways I see you just like mentioning me, continue if it makes you sleep better at night. |
