Tuanzebe: “Ambitions? To be playing regularly for United and it is very, very possible this season. I think the manager has shown faith in me in the pre-season games, he has a lot of confidence in young players and the club is going through a phase of change.” |
Tuanzebe: “It is always an honour and a privilege to play for this club. It should not be taken lightly and it should be brought back to its winning ways and a winning mentality.” |
Tuanzebe: “Manchester is my home and playing at Old Trafford with all of my friends and family close by to see the games is all that you wish for really, so this is a great opportunity to do so.” |
McIrx:Until he's tried out, we wouldn't know. |
patrickmuf:Seconded..... The Lad is full of Confidence and very calm on the Ball. |
Heinze: “We lost a game and I went in the dressing room first and Keane second. I liked to go first. I heard my name and ‘f**k off’ by Keane, the best player. I replied: ‘F**k off, you’. I don’t remember what happened next. Knocked out? Yes.” |
patrickmuf:He sustained ligament damage towards the end of last season while representing loan club Fulham. |
Giggs: “He (Pogba) was there as a kid he saw the culture at the time, so now he's got to decide, if he is a footballer with United, he's got to be part of this culture change to win. He wants to win, he wants to be the best, no doubt about that.” |
Giggs: ”I think Paul's got to play a part in that culture change. It will help him. He is one of the senior players, a World Cup winner, won Serie A with Juventus, he is one of the senior players.” |
Rashford: "It’s a completely different environment to what it has been, it feels back like normal. We really want to test ourselves now against the best in the league.” |
Rashford: “He [Solskjær] has brought stability. In the past three years, you were never sure about anything. Now we have stability. Everyone’s in a good mood, a good place." |
Rashford: "The way we win is important to me. What we want is to play Manchester United football, attacking, free-flowing, fast. If you lose the ball, you win it back." |
Rashford: “When a manager gets a pre-season, that’s where they make changes and the whole team is 100 per cent changed, especially off the ball. We’re definitely pressing more. In the past, we didn’t quite grasp it. Against top players you’ll get picked off.” |
Rashford: "Ronaldo was the one that made you love the game and want to try things that people wouldn’t normally try. Just everything. It’s not scripted.” |
Rashford: “When I was younger, I’d watch games, watch clips on YouTube, then go out, and try everything. I watched Ronaldinho doing that flip-flap. I watched a lot of the Brazilian Ronaldo when I was really young." |
Rashford: “I still watch clips of loads of players, Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar. If they’ve done something at the weekend, I’d want to know how they’ve done it.” |
Rashford: “It’s good when you share the same ambitions. They [fans] want me to push on and keep improving. In games where you’re tired, the fans keep you going. Their energy comes on to the pitch, and I embrace that sort of atmosphere.” |
Rashford: “It’s [rondo] the ideal warm-up. You do your physical warm-up, and then to get the brain ticking the rondo is the best thing to do. It’s fast tempo, you’re getting balls rapped into your feet from five or ten yards. It gets you on your toes." |
Rashford: "Harry [Maguire] brings calmness. Playing with him for England, you feel assured at the back, and for a team that’s massive." |
Rashford: “I looked up to the likes of Giggs, Scholes, Butt coming through the academy and understand these players [youngsters] now look up to me, wearing the No 10 shirt, scoring important goals. That motivates me." |
Rashford: “A lot of my advice to them [youngsters] is, ‘Just be yourself.’ They’re clever kids, been at Manchester United for a long time, so they are so good at improving, listening and learning." |
Rashford: "Chongy is quite a mature player. He’s a proper winger; that’s something that can go missing sometimes in the modern day, so to have him at Manchester United is a massive strength. He will kick on as well, his mentality is very good.” |
Rashford: “I want to make a difference. I’ve experienced Champions Leagues, Europa Leagues, World Cups, so I’m in a great position to offer advice [to the young players]." |

Ole: “Harry has impressed me, very much so. He has come in as a presence. He is taller and bigger than I thought. He has come in as a real plus. He will have an impact on the rest of the boys. Yeah, Harry is ready to play.” |
Solskjær: "Harry [Maguire] is ready to play. I am sure he will put himself up, when I ask him on Sunday morning, if he is available, because he has played many games for Leicester over the pre-season. He has trained well & he has looked sharp when he has been here." |
Ole on VAR: "I'm for it when it makes factual decisions correct, so if you're offside, if you're two yards or two centimetres, you're off and that's a big thing. As long as it happens quickly I think it's going to be a benefit and it's going to make the league more fair." |

Ole on going up against Frank Lampard: "I'm just happy he's not playing, because he'd score goals wouldn't he? It's no different to any other manager really. I met him, we had a manager's meeting on Wednesday and I spoke to him then." |
Ole: “Alexis? I think he’ll see this as an opportunity as well to make his mark. I do expect him to stay, there’s a striker there we think is going to be able to score some goals.” |
Ole: “Captain? There’s a few here in that group beneath Ashley and there are some leaders. You might get a clue on Sunday.” |
