Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has equalled Matt Busby’s all-time record of winning his first five league games in charge of Manchester United. Superb. https:///MSd03Qbq56 |
![]() Manchester United were eight points behind Arsenal when Ole Gunnar Solskjær became their caretaker manager on December 19th but are now level on points with the Gunners. Recoup. https:///PcCAkf4Af0 |

"De Gea - he should have held a couple!" "I've played with a few fantatsic goalkeepers, we have a tradition of having them and he has grown and grown, he deserves that man of the match today." - Ole Gunnaer Solskjaer |
"We know how to control the games, how to keep the ball, how to create chances, which is very good for us." - David De Gea Should Ole Gunnar Solskjær be given the job permanently? David de Gea says 'This is the real Manchester United.'" |
"The Players are playing very well, the Team is strong now. This is the real Manchester United." - David De Gea |
The only Defender we have now is; Lindelof. Hopefully Smalling can be a good Addition when he returns! If Bailly could return to his Beast Mode.... Then it's all good! |
Up United! Ole is firing like a Terminator!

slimghost:We've not seen what Sanchez will bring on Board in this new System. He was on Piano Level during Mou's Reign, hopefully he's gonna laced his Boots well and ready to deliver right from next Match. |
"He's [Sanchez] not ready yet, hopefully or I think, he will be training when we get back. Maybe on Wednesday he will be in full Training. It is just one of those Blows. He's just having a hard time of getting rid of it. Maybe next Week he could be involved." - Ole Gunner Solskjaer |
Lineup OGS really has Confidence in Martial, Rashord and Lingard leading the Attack. This is definitely his first Eleven, except Lingard or Martial makes way for Sanchez.

”We’re still far [away] but it’s good that people forget about us a bit. We’re just coming our way, staying focused and trying to do our things – that’s what we need to do.” - Paul Pogba |
“I remember the first game [against Spurs] when we lost 3-0 at home, I’ve still got it in my mind. We don’t want to let this happen again. “It’s Tottenham, you know. They’re a very good team, they’re in the top four, so it’s going to be a big game. It’s going to be a tough one. We need points and they need them as well. We’ll see – it’s going to be a tough one.” - Paul Pogba |
“Of course, when you win five you can win the next one and then the next one and then the next one, but don’t look too far ahead. At the moment we have Spurs to come and we can win that one if we do everything right but we know we’re capable of beating anyone. “I didn’t know that statistics, [but] before I retired [in 2007] I think we had a good history against Spurs, but the world has changed and they’ve really come good Spurs - I have to say that. We’re looking forward to it [the game].” “2-0 at home in one of my first games in ’96, I scored both - one was a great pass from Giggsy I remember. I scored quite a few goals against them and then, of course, the 5-3 win away from home when we were 3-0 down at half-time and we turned it around. That’s the standout memory for me.” - Ole Gunner Solskjaer |
|
“Of course it will be tough but, then again, we can make it tough for them. They [Spurs] have got strengths and weaknesses, as have we, so it’s one of those games that we’ll need, and the cup game against Arsenal, before we go into the Champions League against PSG because that’s the ultimate test. ”So, for me, the Spurs game isn’t the be all and end all. Of course it’s important, but it’s preparation for the rest of the season and the way going forward. We’ve won five games and you learn so much by winning but, when you get these tougher games, then you learn more about the personalities and how they deal with these situations.“ - Ole Gunner Solskjaer |
![]() The Dude is very annoying to be candid. I wanted to quote and ask him to the needful to the Gibberish, but it's kinda a Waste of Data. |
We can't afford to drop even a point at Wembley Tomorrow. |
“He’s [Rashford] got frightening pace, he’s now become stronger, he can hold the ball up for us and he’s a great link player. ”He can become a top, top one. We can talk about Harry Kane and his class, and I'm sure Marcus has got the potential to get up there. He's been brought up here. “There were a couple of sessions with the young kids, {Tahith} Chong, Angel [Gomes] and Jesse [Lingard], where they play together in a certain way. A very exciting player to work with.” - Ole Gunner Solskjaer |

In summary Here’s a recap of the key points from Solskjaer’s presser tonight: * Paul Pogba is fit to face Tottenham * Solskjaer is under no illusions as to why Mauricio Pochettino is linked with the permanent United job *Tottenham, in his mind, are not the first test of his United reign (every game has been already) *Solskjaer admits Harry Kane is very good, but is keen to stress he has a lot of firepower in his own armoury *The Reds will attack Spurs at Wembley on Sunday *Marcos Rojo has returned to Argentina to recover from his latest injury |
Q: What will your approach be against Tottenham? OGS: You always adapt to any opponent, we play one of the best teams in the league, have to be aware of their strengths but we need to attack teams, that’s our strength as well. Going forward, attacking both as a team and the way we played, we won’t get as many chances to attack against these as we’ve had before so we’ve got to be ready for when we got hold of the ball and play well with it because Wembley is a decent sized pitch. |
Q: Can you update us on the contract situations at the club? Are there any incomings? OGS: I read the news sometimes as well and the speculations around this club is amazing, incredible. Some players I’ve not even heard of have singed. I can’t comment on things like that but we’ve got (current) players we are in discussions with but that’s not down to me either. |
Q: Do Tottenham present your first real test as United manager? OGS: No we’ve had tests. Newcastle away was a test, the first game how everyone reacted away to Cardiff was a test, the second game, how crowd would affect is a test... You get tested every single game in the Premier League but of course this is against a top top side and if we want to get close to them and go past them we will need a good performance and a good result. |
