OGS Pressers 4 You seem to have got better performances out of Pogba can you do the same for Alexis and Lukaku because they’re two other big players who haven’t performed in the way they should? "I think you put it the wrong way, I cannot do anything for their performances on the pitch, Paul has done it, my chats with Anthony, Rom, Alexis, I’m here to give them on the path and it’s up to them to do it on the pitch. "I don’t agree that I’ve done that with Paul. It’s up to them when they get a chance that’s the name of the game as a footballer, you’ve got to do it yourself, I gave some guidelines of course on expression, freedom of expression but that’s how I’ve always been as a manager you can’t tell what the players to do in this position. "They are here for a reason it’s up to them to use their imagination and creativity just enjoy playing for this club, that’s the best time of your life, but it’s not a bad time to be manager for a while. |
OGS Pressers 3 On Pogba he shone in an attacking sense is he showing everyone he can be the player to build around? "I think Paul’s a top top player. He’s one of the best top top players in the world, attacking wise he’s done really well but he’s a big lad, can win headers, tackles, he’s been the same as the others. "The attitude has been perfect and that’s key, you should be tired towards the end of every single game he’s been top class and we’re looking to build a team around of course but there are so many quality players." |
OGS Pressers 2 What do you think has been wrong with Lukaku and Sanchez, especially Sanchez who has struggled this season? "I cannot tell you, I’ve just been looking at the team, so many good players and when you get these confident looking forward to games we have a confident squad, it is we back then, it’s part of me. "But it’s a different thing when you’re fan on the outside, it’s very easy to see he should be playing, suddenly you end up with six forwards, six centre backs, my thing now is how Romelu, Alexis, Anthony, Jesse, Marcus, Juan, six forwards, will you play with more than four at a time? I’m not sure? The rotation and communication between players is important." |
OGS Presser 1 “We've not had a lot of training since [the Huddersfield game]. We had yesterday [Thursday] off so today is the first day back. ”Romelu [Lukaku], Anthony [Martial] and Alexis were [in] light [training] yesterday so hopefully they can join part of the training today and let's see after they've come through. Marcos [Rojo] and Scott [McTominay] look like they can take part very soon as well, so it's looking better. "Smalling has got a sore foot, so I don't think we'll see him until the New Year anyway - maybe not even before Spurs [on 13 January] probably, around that time, but you never know.” |
Happy Birthday Dope J....... Wish you the best! LLNP! |
Icon4s: ![]() He looks 25yrs old in the Picture. You want to defend his real Age but what you could come up with is Picture?! What about is Birth Certificate?! When was he enrolled at basic School? Did he write O'Level Exams or not? If he did...... When? Let's just leave the Matter, cos I do not like engaging in a lengthy debate anymore on this Thread. I've been in ghost mode quite a while but can't do in a Day without touching down herr mostly for fun sake. |
![]() Some Dudes really believe Uzoho is indeed a Teen?! LMAO! Uzoho is certainly in his 30s...... I've never for once believe he's a Teen or below 30s. As for Iheanacho...... He needs to be dropped from the Eagles at least till he learns Talent ain't only made a Player, rather consistency, Developments, and positive Results. The Dude is losing it, while his Compatriot is rapidly developing to a World Class Player. Check on United Thread, Dudes there are even suggesting Ndidi should be bought to replace ageing Matic. |
“I spoke to Alexis, he's back. He came in and had two days of good fitness work. Hopefully, he can join training with the ball as soon as we get back in again now. He's touch and go for Bournemouth but probably, well definitely, be involved against Newcastle [on 2 January]. “I don't have time to sit down and speak in that detail [about his confidence] but we had Christmas Day off and he was in training, eager to get back on the pitch. He's a workaholic, it seems like.” - Ole Gunner Solskjaer |
"Hopefully the front 3 of Romelu, Alexis and Martial - that is not a bad three to have ready. So towards the End, when you are 2 - 0 or 3 - 0 up, if you can put Players with Pace on then that makes a Difference when you score three at Home. "If you know you have 3 Lads waiting to get on, then that's great." - Ole Gunner Solskjaer |
![]() Virus indeed!
|
eph12: ![]() They gassed out in the last 15mins cos they ain't used to running at Opponents, rather tracking back. |
odizeey: ![]() Aswear! Mata tried but his snail pace couldn't help to suffocate the Defence of the Huddersfield. He barely ran at their Defence. |
![]() Paul Pogba since MOURINHO unceremoniously left United; 2 Games ✓ 2 Goals ✓ 2 Assists ✓ Virus becomes an Antidote....... POGBACK! |
![]() All I've got to say is; we missed Martial! |
Lana1: ![]() The Team is picking up, yet some Dudes are still lamenting. When was the last time this Thread is as lively as this...... Since last Match. We won Matches back to back convincingly. The Virus become an Antidote Today, yet nothing worth celebrating cos its against a weaker Team. Man City lost back to back to average Teams, we picked up Six Points on them...... Yet we shouldn't celebrate, cos the Points were got from weaker Teams! |
Lana1: ![]() Humans can never be satisfied. They must sha find an Excuse to belittle an Achievement. |
![]() It will be easier for a Camel to pass through the Eye of a Needle than United poaching Poch away from Spurs! |
Fred is forcing it on himself to impress. I'm certain he's gonna be back on the Bench in the next Match. Also, Young looks more productive as a RB than Dalot. The Lads ain't doing bad, they peg Huddersfield in their own half, winning Balls back as quick as possible as well. Mata is a bit slow as, ain't cool with running at Defenders. All in all....... It's entertaining first Half. |

![]() The real Main Man at the Moment.......!
|
“Everyone in the squad knows: ‘I will get a chance now’. Whatever has gone, whatever has happened, has happened. Everyone starts with a clean slate. We want players to perform, given the chance.” - Ole Gunner Solskjaer |
"From the moment I found out I was doing this Role, Today is the Day I couldn't wait for. To walk out at Old Trafford means so much to me and I thank you all for making me feel so welcome." - Ole Gunner Solskjaer |
"We all have a lot of Work to do to get this Club back where it should be. Not only we do have to improve our Results, we have to remind People what United is all about." - Ole Gunner Solskjaer |
![]() The same Players many of us thought are lazy and can't string passes successfully together; suddenly became a Team of Spiderman, Batman, Thor, Black Panther and co..... In short within just 2 Days, they become Supermen! Middle finger to Mou wherever he's celebrating Christmas at the Moment. We are all curious to see the next Game with Confidence and Enthusiasm.... another great Wonder of the World. |
...... When was the last time?
|
"Gary [Neville] will be really hard on me! I've sat next to him in the dressing room for 11 years. He was next to me. You know Gary and he's paid now to give his opinion and of course he should do. "I'm no different to anyone else, I'm no different to any other manager, when you lead that team out onto that pitch, because it comes with a responsibility. "I don't play for them. My job is to get the players enjoying themselves. I've had texts from all my old team-mates wishing me all the best and giving me good advice, sound advice, all of them. They'll probably criticise me as well, don't worry about that!” - Ole Gunner Solskjaer |
“I've spoken to Sir Alex [Ferguson] and hopefully I'll go to his or he'll come to me and we'll have a cup of tea. He's the boss and if there's anyone who can give me proper advice - not my team-mates! - that's him. ”The attacking philosophy is in the walls of Man United. That's tradition, that's history and that's how we play. That's how we want to play so Cardiff was a good reflection of what we want.“ - Ole Gunner Solskjaer (OGS) |
“The players have not said anything about a handbrake [being on]. But we spoke in a team meeting before the Cardiff game about when we get one goal, we want to get two. When you get two, you want to get three. That's just the nature of this team, this club, that you always go and attack. ”It's not going to happen in every game that you create chances like we did on Saturday. You've got to grind it out but it worked and with the blistering pace that we've got up front, they [Cardiff] had to chase the game. "I don't think any team would like to have [Jesse] Lingard, [Marcus] Rashford, [Anthony] Martial and [Paul] Pogba running at them, so why should we stop?" - Ole Gunner Solskjaer (OGS) |

![]() Can Lukaku fits into the new Tactic? If not....... Then January Transfer is just few Days to its official Opening. Hence both him and Fellaini should be offered as Xmas Gifts to Clubs that show interests without an iota of Hesitation. |
United linked with a €60m bid for Juventus Douglas Costa. |
